I submitted my cancellation request in person on 01/28/22 at [redacted] Belle Station Blvd, Mount Pleasant, SC [redacted]. However, I continued to notice bank charges even after confirming the cancellation in a visit on 07/19/22. Despite being informed that my membership was terminated, myiclubonline displayed "Membership Status: Active". Returning on 7/3/[redacted] due to ongoing bank charges, I discovered an issue where there were four accounts under my Name, DOB, and Phone number. The staff member I spoke with apologized and explained the situation, but stated they were unable to issue a refund at that time. I am seeking a refund for the erroneous bank charges starting from the date of my original cancellation on 01/28/22 at the aforementioned location.

I frequently use Planet Fitness and enjoy my local club. Unfortunately, I currently live in a homeless shelter near the gym due to personal circumstances. The shelter's case manager received complimentary guest passes from Planet Fitness in White Plains, N.Y. However, with the current promotion offering membership for $1 down and $10 a month until 7/19/23, I would like to join. My friend is willing to cover the monthly fees, but I am unable to afford the $49 annual equipment fee. I am inquiring if the equipment fee can be waived as part of this promotion. If not, I will continue to use the free day passes until I can cover the equipment fee. I have been unable to use the equipment recently due to recovering from sports hernia surgery, only utilizing the shower facilities. Your assistance on this matter is greatly appreciated. I visited the Planet Fitness on Chicago Street in Riverside, California on Thursday, July 21, [redacted], at 4 am. The facility was very dirty, with paper and bottles scattered all over the floors. None of the sanitizers were working, and a lot of the machines had bottles and debris on top of them. There was dust and small paper towel scraps around every machine, and the restroom was in an unacceptable condition. It seemed like the workers were more focused on their phones than maintaining the gym. This place is definitely in need of better supervision and intervention to improve its cleanliness and overall management.

I have sent two separate messages to my home club, Planet Fitness, but have not received any replies. Initially, I thought that my membership was canceled in [redacted] due to the pandemic-related closures in March. Despite moving away during the pandemic, I have been continuously charged $10 per month, along with a $39 charge each May. This totals approximately $[redacted] for a membership that I have not utilized. I believe there should be a way to confirm with the Huntington Beach club that I have not visited any clubs since the start of the pandemic. I am reaching out to request a refund for these charges and to finally cancel the membership that I thought was already terminated in [redacted].

On Wednesday, July 26th, I visited Planet Fitness in Centerville, Ohio at [redacted] Lyons Rd to do a workout. While cooling down on a treadmill near the men's locker room before leaving, a lady next to me started yelling and accusing me of saying something to her, which I did not. She continued to follow and yell at me in a threatening manner as I tried to leave. The staff witnessed this but did not intervene. On July 28th, an employee contacted me to inform me that I am banned from the gym due to the incident, while the lady involved is still allowed in. This situation upset me as I did not engage with her. I would like to discuss this matter further with someone or will involve my lawyer. I expect this issue to be handled appropriately. I used to work out at Planet Fitness in Bismarck, North Dakota. I had to stop working there due to finding a job that suited my family better. The manager confronted me while I was working out, questioning why I was there after not picking up an extra shift. She stood by the treadmill, saying I shouldn't be working out if I wouldn't cover the shift. I missed a payment recently, spoke to the manager, and was told it would be fine. The next day, she banned me from entering because she personally dislikes me, despite my explanation about missing work due to family issues. She changed her mind, saying she doesn't like me, therefore enforcing the rule. I feel singled out and unfairly treated by the manager at Bismarck Planet Fitness. I've always paid on time and don't deserve to be treated poorly. The gym used to be a place of comfort for me, but now it causes anxiety due to the situation.

I signed up with Planet Fitness at the end of June. Since my son's truck broke down, he's been using my car, preventing me from using the gym. I finally went to cancel my account yesterday, only to discover a charge of $53. I contacted the gym, but they refused to refund me. This situation is unacceptable as I haven't had the chance to use the gym since joining. I paid for part of June, all of July, and now they've charged me for August. As someone on a fixed income, every dollar matters. If I had been able to attend, I would have justified the expense, but under the circumstances, I need this resolved.

I am confused because I was informed I would receive a referral bonus for referring someone. Yesterday my account was at zero, but today it shows as $40 with a late fee. When Anthony F., the person I referred, attempted to link his account to his phone, there were technical difficulties. Although the staff at the location we were at tried to assist by assigning his phone number to his barcode, they mistakenly entered the wrong number. After several attempts using different numbers, there were still issues with his account. Now, they claim they cannot locate the link. I assisted him in signing up using the link provided. I believe if a company promises promotions, they should honor them. This is not the first time I have raised this concern with no resolution. I feel frustrated as I cannot afford the unexpected charges this month.

While at Planet Fitness in Bakersfield, CA on Panama Street, my purse was stolen. I spoke with the manager who mentioned this has been occurring frequently. Strangely, only the crew at this location can break locks. The manager apologized but said they couldn't do anything. It seems suspicious, and the staff appear questionable. I am considering canceling my membership and not returning to Planet Fitness.

I recently upgraded my membership from $10 per month to $25 per month to get the black card, mainly because of the promotion for the Halo tracker watch. After receiving my redemption code in April, a couple of weeks before Amazon announced the discontinuation of the Halo, I was planning to purchase the watch with the credit I received. However, the contract allowed me until mid-June to make the purchase, so I decided to gift the watch to my mother for Mother's Day. I selected the watch and its color palette around April 16 and saved it in my Amazon account for later. Unfortunately, I only found out about the Halo's cancellation on April 27, just days before Mother's Day, when I tried to use the code and it failed. Feeling deceived by Amazon, I believe this situation is akin to being scammed on the streets, but worse because it's a powerful corporation shielded by anonymity.

Every Planet Fitness I've visited in the States has provided wifi for its members. After moving to Puerto Rico, specifically Ponce, an urban area, it's surprising that the facility there doesn't offer wifi as part of their amenities, even though the membership fees are consistent with those in the States. It's unexpected that they offer haircuts but don't have basics like wifi or a scale in the bathroom.

I noticed that I was charged $25.95 for my monthly bill on August 16, [redacted], even though my membership was supposed to cost $20 per month according to the advertisement. I am confused about the extra charges and would like a breakdown of my bill. On September 1, [redacted], I was billed $39, which seems higher than expected. Upon further research, I discovered that there is an annual fee applied 8 weeks after signing up. I have been a member for almost a year and have been charged this annual fee before. Can you please clarify this charge for me?

I recently had an unsettling experience that I believe warrants appropriate compensation. On September 14, [redacted], I visited your facility with the intention of using the restroom facilities, which I have always found to be well-maintained. Upon arrival, I followed the check-in process and entrusted my car keys to Kenna, one of your staff members. Following my restroom visit, I realized my keys were missing and despite Kenna's assistance in searching, it was later discovered that the keys were left at the front desk all along. This oversight led to significant challenges for me as a Lyft driver, with potential earnings of over $[redacted] lost that night. Furthermore, due to being stranded without access to my vehicle, I had to endure an uncomfortable situation throughout the night. While I understand that mistakes can happen, the consequences of this error were substantial for me both financially and emotionally. Hello, I have been trying for three months to revert my membership back to the lower monthly rate. I currently hold a Black membership at Planet Fitness Ft. Myers-McGregor Blvd. I have left my contact details at the front desk since the club's computers have been down and they have been unable to access memberships. The staff informed me that a regional manager needs to be contacted, but it has been three months with no resolution. I am being charged for features I do not utilize with the Black membership and would like reimbursement for these months. The front desk mentioned that the regional manager is overwhelmed with calls and cannot provide a timeframe for contacting me. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.

Around two years ago, I canceled my account, but payments resumed after a few months. Despite visiting my local gym to resolve the issue and finding no record of my account under my name or phone number, charges have been debited each month for the past two years. I need assistance in understanding how this is occurring without an existing account in my name.

The cleanliness at the Planet Fitness on Del Prado Boulevard managed poorly. Members are expected to clean machines but staff doesn't enforce this rule. This led to severe infections for some, like a lady who experienced one recently. I personally got a rash due to unclean machines. The paper-thin towels provided fall apart when trying to clean with disinfectant. The staff should ensure machines are cleaned properly and upgrade to stronger towels for members to use.

My daughter, B.P. from Mooresville, NC, signed up for a membership with Planet Fitness online on September 2, [redacted], at the age of 16. She was attracted by the advertised specials on television and online. She expected to receive a rebate to cover the higher charge mentioned at the time of signing up and believed she wouldn't be charged the annual fee for a year. However, she was charged $59.99 for the membership along with a $4.00 pro-rated fee on September 2, and on October 1, [redacted], another $49.99 was withdrawn from her account. Despite contacting the branch she joined, they justified the charges mentioning the annual fee listed at the bottom of the membership pamphlet, which wasn't explicitly communicated during the sign-up process. This discrepancy in the pricing, especially for a young customer drawn in by advertised specials, seems misleading.

I attempted to retrieve my username and password on your website to transfer my Planet Fitness membership to a different location. After using the "forgot username" option and entering my email address, I was informed that an email had been sent by Planet Fitness. It has been almost an hour, and typically services respond much quicker.
