I am currently working with the Spectrum Two FT-IR. I have run the spectrum of several PTFE films made with the same material, but at different times. The results show that the spectra have the same number of peaks, with identical shapes and Cm-1 numbers. The only noticeable difference between the spectra is the % T values, where one sample has a lower transmittance than the other. The correlation between the two spectra is over 90%. I suspect that the difference in % T heights may be attributed to the differing thickness of the sample impacting the amount of light passing through. Does this explanation seem plausible? We have purchased a DNA 5k chip with Part Number [redacted] under Lot Number X866B and Purchase Order Number [redacted]. Upon its first use on our Bluebox GX, we encountered issues with clogging approximately 50 wells into the run. We observed discrepancies in fluorescence and band brightness, leading to a total clog. Despite attempts to unclog the chip using a vacuum aspirator and pipet tip, the issue persisted in subsequent runs. Even after multiple tries, the chip continued to clog, with the final run showing no liquid flow and no visible bands. We request a replacement chip.
