In December [redacted], I applied for Unemployment Benefits, unaware of the requirement to register on Pennsylvania CareerLink. Only after filing biweekly claims for a month did I learn about this registration necessity. I completed the registration on January 27, [redacted], with the expectation of receiving benefits the next week. Despite this, it's been nearly a month, and my attempts to resolve the matter have been unsuccessful. I've been unemployed since December [redacted] and am actively seeking employment.

I missed the filing after 1/10/[redacted] and called the [redacted] number multiple times without success. I attempted the live chat but couldn't connect. I am also interested to know if I could request another unemployment hearing due to several errors that occurred during the previous one. I believe my employer did not participate in the hearing as required by the rules. According to the rules governing telephone hearings, I was not properly informed about the testimony process and was treated rudely by the referee, Mark Ecker. I reached out to my ex-boss for clarification on my termination but did not receive a response. My employer did not follow the proper disciplinary steps before termination, despite my ten years of service with no prior issues in long-term care.

Hello,
Each time I file my bi-weekly claim, I am asked to reopen my existing claim. I have been trying to do this online, but the system keeps prompting me to reopen it again. Even when I call the biweekly line, the automated service tells me the same thing. This has been going on for a month now, and I am struggling as I rely on this income to pay my bills while I am unemployed. I have tried reaching out to the UC Service line, but the line is always busy, with hold times of up to 3 hours, and sometimes I get disconnected after being on hold for an hour. I did receive assistance once when I went to Career Link and they connected me directly to someone who helped. However, it is inconvenient to have to physically go somewhere to get this resolved. I really hope someone can provide guidance on what steps to take next.
Thank you,
W. Paul Bagnell

I am currently hoping to reopen my claim as I have recently become unemployed due to the coronavirus pandemic at my current job. On Friday afternoon, March 20, [redacted], I was informed that I would be laid off. Despite trying to reopen my claim on Saturday, March 21, [redacted], I did not receive an email confirmation. The system prompted me for my direct deposit information, which I believed was already on file. Using my current PIN, I attempted to sign in again on Monday, March 23, [redacted]. Subsequently, I received emails instructing me to file on March 29, [redacted], and April 5, [redacted], for the two separate attempts. I am unsure if it is acceptable to open the claim twice with the same PIN. I am confused about which date to claim as my first day of unemployment; I presume it to be Monday, March 23, [redacted]. I have a learning disability and am a veteran, seeking guidance on this matter to ensure I follow the correct procedures for claiming benefits. I appreciate any assistance.

Hello, my name is Mirna Marchese. I have been collecting Unemployment since being let go from my full-time job with Montgomery County on November 17, [redacted]. I have also been working part-time with Gotham in the evenings and weekends for at least 10 years. Due to Coronavirus 19, Gotham was forced to close. I have been diligently reporting my earnings every two weeks. My question is, am I eligible to receive Unemployment from Gotham if I continue reporting every two weeks with zero earnings from them? If you need to reach me, please email me at your convenience. Thank you in advance,

Hello, I called Pat on Sunday, the 5th of April, to file my biweekly claim. Despite following all the instructions correctly, there were issues with my Social Security number. After multiple attempts and being canceled, I called again on the 6th, spending 4 hours trying to reach them. Finally, a helpful lady assisted me after another 2 hours on hold. She mentioned there was a previous phone system problem that had been resolved. However, when I called Pat again, the issue persisted, and they advised me to contact UC as I couldn't proceed with Pat. I urgently need these benefits as no one in my household is currently employed. Thank you.

I submitted my unemployment claim on Sunday, April 5th and followed all the usual steps, having been on unemployment for the past decade. However, while my friends have received their payment for the last two weeks, I have not seen mine come through. When I checked online, my claim was not showing up. Trying to file my biweekly claim, I was told to wait until 4/19/[redacted]. Waiting until then means I'd miss out on payment for the past two weeks that I have been out of work due to COVID-19 since March 8th. This money is crucial for covering my bills and feeding my family. Despite making over [redacted] calls and even attempting the live chat, I have not been able to reach a customer representative in the past two days. It's essential to get this resolved quickly as something seems amiss with my claim not reflecting online.

I reopened my claim on March 23rd after working reduced hours. However, an overpayment on my paycheck may have caused my claim to be flagged, requiring further explanation. Since reopening it, I have been unable to check the status or proceed with the process. I am unsure of what steps to take. I am scheduled to do my first biweekly claim this week. Initially, I planned to claim partially, but due to the overpayment issue, I may not need to file a claim until April 20th.

I reopened my claim on March 21, and I've been attempting to file my bi-weekly claim since April 3. However, I'm encountering an issue where it states my claim is inactive, preventing me from proceeding. Despite numerous attempts since March 29, I cannot reach anyone via phone, and online filing is not an option due to the claim status. As the sole provider, I have been without income for three weeks now. I urgently require assistance in reactivating my claim. Information I've found advises against reopening a claim that has already been reactivated.

I encountered an issue while filling out my unemployment application. I answered "No" to earning over $3,[redacted] from my previous employer and working for another employer. However, the system is now asking for information about a second employer or the current one. Unfortunately, there is no skip button available since I do not work for anyone else. Any assistance on how to proceed would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

I submitted my unemployment claim on March 20, [redacted], but I haven't received any response from PA UC. I've been trying to call them since March 23, [redacted], but the phone number, 1-[redacted], has been constantly busy. They are not responding to chats either. My office closed due to COVID-19, and it has been three weeks without any income. I need to reopen my claim, but it shows inactive, and I can't get any assistance. The news mentioned that everything is in order, including PIN numbers being sent out, but that doesn't seem accurate. It's frustrating that their phone line has been busy for weeks without any help for people who lost their jobs due to COVID-19. Reactivating my claim should not be this difficult. Harrisburg PA UC needs to be more responsive; keeping the phone continuously busy isn't aiding those in need.

I have been waiting for four weeks now, and I have not received any payments yet. Everything has been approved, my direct deposit is set up, and I received a Reliacard the same day as my confirmation letter. Online it shows the amount I should be paid, but I still haven't received anything. I have been patient for four weeks, but now I need this resolved urgently. I have a family to support, and I am in a difficult situation. I hate to put it like this, but I need my money right away to survive.

I have been attempting to contact Pennsylvania UC claim assistance through the online chat feature multiple times a day because the office is closed and nobody answers the phone. Unfortunately, every time I try to start a chat at 8:00AM, it ends before I can even type my question. I encountered an error on my biweekly filing due to the unclear question, and when I tried to correct it, the system did not allow me to. The required information disappeared quickly, leading me to confirm with incorrect details. I'm unsure how to rectify this situation.

I need help with my US Bank ReliaCard. I want to ensure my card is activated and ready to use online or at an ATM. I have money on it, but the website won't let me log in. I've set up a PIN but not a password. Can I transfer funds to my personal bank account? I prefer direct deposit to avoid these issues. The Pennsylvania Unemployment office issued the card. Your assistance is crucial as I rely on this money. Thank you for your help.

When attempting to file a claim, the form is requesting details about a second employer that doesn't exist causing a barrier to completing the form. The requirements include providing the second employer's address, specifying start and end dates of employment, stating the reason for separation, indicating a recall date, and mentioning if earnings were $3,[redacted] or more. If working elsewhere full or part-time, fill out the page for that employer. If not meeting the earnings threshold with the most recent employer, provide information for the second to last one. If both scenarios apply, include information only for the current employer. If there is confusion or you've landed on this page by mistake, use the back button to rectify previous responses. In need of assistance with this process.

I'm having trouble accessing the website to set up my bank card account. The phone menu now recognizes my card number, but I still can't transfer money or access other options. I'm hesitant to use an ATM. When I tried to open a claim, the DIRECT DEPOSIT screen didn't appear. I've filled out a form now and am concerned about the availability of a significant amount of money. Calling and getting disconnected isn't helping, so I might need to pursue legal action. Any helpful advice would be appreciated.

I reopened a claim on March 23rd. I received a confirmation email to file my biweekly claim from April 5th to the 10th, but I was unable to do so. I refiled and got a confirmation email to file from April 19th to the 24th. However, when checking my information page, it shows that I never reopened my claim. I am desperate for help as my family is in need. I have tried everything I know to resolve this, but I am unable to reach anyone for assistance.

I have been trying to check on the status of my unemployment since I filed and received my confirmation letter on 3/30/29. The phone lines are continuously busy, and I have been attempting to get through without success. Yesterday, I managed to connect with someone on the website through live chat. They advised me to call and request a quarter change on my claim because I didn't earn enough between October-December of [redacted]. However, I recently had a quarter change on April 5th, and I earned more wages between October-December [redacted], making me more eligible for benefits. I urgently need to speak to a representative as I am currently unemployed due to COVID-19 and require assistance. However, it is extremely challenging to reach anyone via telephone. There must be a more efficient way to get in touch with them.

To whom it may concern,
My name is Angela Barkowsky, and I have been unable to reach the unemployment office by phone despite numerous attempts. Consequently, I am resorting to email in the hopes of getting assistance. I initially applied for unemployment on 3/19, and even though I have received my determination letter and pin, I encounter an error message whenever I try to log in online. I have reached out to my former employer, who has confirmed their support for my unemployment claim. However, there seems to be a lingering issue with my case that I am eager to resolve promptly. The last communication I received from your office was on April 3, and as of April 20th, I have yet to receive any further updates or resolution. I kindly request assistance in identifying and addressing the issue affecting my claim.
