I am extremely disappointed with the outcome of the dispute I raised against a scammer through PayPal. The scammer took £[redacted] from me last Saturday by pretending to sell me a collection of Gameboys. I have concrete evidence on my phone demonstrating all the communication between us. Initially, he provided a PayPal address under a different name and later another one under a different name. Upon investigating, I found out that one of the mobile numbers he used is linked to a person named Jacob Bailey, a notorious scammer on Gumtree in Hull, England. Despite taking legal action against him, PayPal seems to be siding with him. I will escalate this matter further to my bank and consider pursuing it through small claims court. Where is the promised buyer protection in such cases?

I'm seeking assistance regarding a computer service issue. On May 31, [redacted], I encountered a hacking warning on my computer and was connected to Shaifali Wadhwa for assistance. During the call, Wadhwa removed malware, recommended a Malwarebytes subscription, and I agreed to a lifetime subscription for $[redacted].99 paid through PayPal. However, after not receiving a receipt and contacting Malwarebytes, I discovered they do not offer lifetime subscriptions. Upon further investigation, I realized the payment was made to an individual not affiliated with Malwarebytes. Wadhwa later called me offering a partial refund, claiming she worked on my computer. Feeling misled and unsure of my next steps, I reached out to PayPal and Malwarebytes for clarification. I suspect that the static on the phone line was intentionally high when Wadhwa disclosed her company's name. It seems she directed me to PayPal to conceal her identity and misled me regarding the subscription I was purchasing. I aim to file a claim and seek guidance on the appropriate course of action in this matter.

I have not received the Emerald ring I ordered from ORIANNAS under Order #[redacted]. Despite contacting them and sending an email, I did not receive any response. Unfortunately, a few days ago I underwent eye surgery, which prevented me from responding to the claim upgrade before it closed on the 4th of this month, just 2 days ago. Having been discharged from the hospital today, I immediately tried to upgrade the claim, only to find out it was already closed. Due to my recent hospitalization, I kindly request an exception to reopen this claim. As a person with a very low fixed income from Social Security, a refund for this item is essential for me. The transaction in question is [redacted]95N538013V. Additionally, I am experiencing difficulty resetting my password as the system does not allow me to save the new one. My username is [redacted] (Sharon R.). I truly hope you can assist me with this matter. Thank you.

I believe there has been unauthorized activity on my True Value order. I received a tool on 5-22-[redacted], and today I noticed a charge by someone I did not authorize. The tracking information matches my True Value order, which cleared my bank on 5-21-[redacted], but the charge seems unrelated. I have additional security steps on my PayPal, but they did not activate as usual. The $89.01 charge by NGUYENMAINGOC has me concerned as I did not approve it, and the email associated with the charge, [redacted], seems suspicious. The tracking number corresponds to my True Value order, not this transaction listed under Sears Raleigh, NC. I am worried about potential hacking. What steps should I take immediately to address this issue?

I believe there has been unauthorized activity on my account. I do not use PayPal, and this Candy Crush transaction listed with my email is not something I authorized. Please investigate this issue at your earliest convenience. Thank you.

I have not yet received my refund. The seller and I resolved our dispute through PayPal. I agreed to a refund offer from the seller after he received the items back, which he claims PayPal has deducted from his account. Despite this, I haven't received the refund. I opened an escalated claim a week or two ago, and it is still ongoing. I'm concerned that the delay might be due to the open case. If I close the claim, will I receive the refund we agreed upon via PayPal?

I submitted a case before receiving the item as I suspected it was a counterfeit. After making the payment via PayPal on eBay, the seller deleted their account. The purse I received is a fake, despite being advertised as authentic. eBay informed me that I'm protected by their money-back guarantee. However, I'm seeking assistance from you as I've already opened a dispute. I purchased what was supposed to be a genuine purse but received a replica. eBay is aware of this seller's fraudulent activities and yet they are still operating. I attempted to contact customer service by phone but faced a lengthy wait time. I urgently need my dispute to reflect this new information or to initiate a new dispute. Please reach out to me via email or phone at [redacted].

I purchased Perfect Smile Veneers, but it arrived with missing parts. Upon reaching out to customer service for a refund, I was informed that there has been a breach compromising the product. They advised me to contact the website or my financial institution for a refund. I have been unsuccessful in contacting the website. The email I received from customer support mentioned that the packaging and manuals have been used for counterfeit products. I purchased the item on 4/11/18 through PAYPAL, but I can't find the necessary information to proceed. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Community Members, I am experiencing a recurring issue when attempting to purchase items on eBay using the Pay After Delivery (P-A-D) option. Despite having 35 items in my eBay watch list that previously offered P-A-D, none of them currently have this option available. Even when trying to repurchase items that I previously bought using P-A-D, the option is no longer present. My PayPal account is configured for P-A-D, with both my bank account and card confirmed. I have reached out to customer service twice, and although they assured me that my account is in good standing, the issue persists. They have reviewed and updated my account settings to no avail. I kindly request an investigation into my account to determine if there are any issues preventing the P-A-D option from being offered. Without this feature, my confidence in using PayPal for eBay transactions is dwindling. Thanks for your attention to this matter. Regards, GB

I need help to track down the unauthorized $35 withdrawal from my account. Despite an email claiming to be from PayPal, they have no record of the transaction. It looks like someone used the PayPal icon to take the money, making it seem like a legitimate PayPal transfer. Now I have to update all my passwords, get a new bank account, and a new card. I can't use my current account until this is resolved. It seems like the person responsible might be monitoring me on Facebook and making strange references. My phone is also acting odd, demanding my identity constantly. I enter my email and password, but the system rejects me later on. This situation is stressful, and I need advice on how to handle it. Thank you for assisting me with this. - Judy M.

I signed in months ago and waited over 1-1/2 hours but had to hang up as my phone needed to be charged. The same issue happened again. I called the [redacted] number and listened to various ads and deals. I tried to log in with my old password but it didn't work, so I used the 6-digit codes received. The codes were [redacted] at 9:16 a.m. and [redacted] at 10:10 a.m. I entered both but they were not accepted. Then I had issues with the captcha as the space was hidden on the page. I have spent around 2 hours trying to get assistance with this issue. Thank you.

Last night, an unauthorized payment for 4 items in my eBay basket occurred. eBay is blaming the seller, and I am unable to locate the activity on my PayPal account. I have received reference number 11t90294vy649925y from eBay. Even though I made purchases in dollars, I have the totals in sterling. eBay assured me that I would be refunded. The seller has blocked me after I raised the issue, preventing me from communicating. I asked them not to ship the items as I did not authorize the payment. The seller blames eBay, while eBay blames the seller. I always use PayPal on eBay and manually select the delivery address and payment card. I do not have automatic payments set up. Two of the paid items were not even in my basket; they were saved for later. I am requesting a full refund for the 4 items and asking the seller to reissue the invoices so I can properly authorize payments through PayPal with two different cards. I need assistance promptly.

I recently discovered that an account under Account No. XXXX XXXX 0[redacted] was opened and used without my consent by a friend. In March [redacted], I contacted PayPal to close the account after realizing its existence. I even sent a $1,[redacted].00 check to settle any outstanding balance. An individual from PayPal assured me the account would be closed. Today, I received an empty envelope from PayPal, causing me confusion. The envelope was sent via first class mail, adding to my concerns. I am unsure why PayPal sent it and what it was intended to contain. I seek clarification on this matter and confirmation that the account in my name has been closed permanently, with no possibility of being reopened or replaced with another account. I kindly request a prompt response. Thank you. L.O.

I recently spoke with one of your overseas representatives regarding two undelivered items from seller LHK [redacted], specifically item [redacted]11 and item [redacted]78. The agent mentioned that a refund request would be submitted for the first item, but not for the second until a specified number of days had passed due to the later order date. However, based on past experiences, delays beyond 30 days from the order date typically result in non-delivery. Despite being informed that both orders are still "in transit," I have multiple items in my possession for months that are allegedly in transit as per tracking information. This seller, like many Chinese sellers in my experience, seems unreliable in terms of honesty and fulfilling commitments. Despite numerous correspondences and unfulfilled promises of replacement items or waiting for their arrival, the outcome remains unsatisfactory. I hope to receive the two items I initially ordered, as they seem unavailable elsewhere without incurring additional costs.

I recently received an email requesting sensitive information. I am uncertain if this communication is legitimately from PayPal. Hello, I previously received an email from PayPal requesting help to resolve an account issue. The email states that additional information is required to verify my identity before I can access certain products and services. The message includes a Case ID Number: PP-[redacted]-[redacted]-[redacted]-[redacted]. To address this matter, I am encouraged to log in to my PayPal account and visit the Resolution Center for further instructions. Failure to comply may result in limitations to my account actions. The email also provides resources from PayPal's Help and Security Center for reference. Please note that this message was generated by an automated system, and responses via email will not be monitored. For direct communication with PayPal, I am advised to log in and utilize the "Contact Us" feature on the website. Thank you, Jason Alan

Recently, I had a concerning encounter with Kenneth, who called me asking for $[redacted] without disclosing his location. Suspicious of his claims as I do not owe this debt, I refused to cooperate. He suggested I call [redacted], which I recognized as a scam. He mentioned a Mastercard ending in [redacted] under Linda Lashbrooks, which I have no association with. Despite his persistence, I have confirmed I do not owe any money based on my PayPal account. I am unhappy with the handling of this matter and have spoken to Lee from Customer Service in San Jose. I am eager for resolution and have been promised a callback, which has yet to happen. I will persist in seeking clarity on this issue and will involve the appropriate authorities if necessary. This situation needs to be rectified promptly without any undue delays or inconveniences on my part.

I have limited mobility, stay mostly at home, and enjoy games. I subscribed to Gamehouse with a monthly fee and initially had a decent experience for the first two weeks. I encountered issues loading games, which were eventually resolved by using Chrome. However, the site later became unresponsive, preventing me from downloading games. Despite reaching out for assistance, my emails went unanswered. I made numerous attempts over a week to resolve the download problem, without success. I sent several emails to cancel my subscription on May 11, [redacted]. To my dismay, I discovered they charged me again after I had cancelled on June 10, [redacted] (real networks digital media). After multiple emails, I was informed my service would continue until the current payment period ended. I forwarded them the cancellation emails from May 11 and was asked for a confirmation email, which I explained I did not have due to their lack of response. I requested a refund and warned them about involving a third party. I am dissatisfied with this experience and seek assistance in resolving this matter.

Subject: Unauthorized Payment Attempt by Total VPN Hi, I recently received an erroneous payment notification from Total VPN through PayPal for a service that was canceled two years ago. The attempted charge of $[redacted] was unsuccessful as my account has been closed since the cancellation. I am concerned about the company trying to collect an outstanding balance that does not exist. It is essential to receive written confirmation of the cancellation to avoid any further unauthorized charges. I do not wish to escalate this matter legally but will do so if necessary. Please address this issue promptly to prevent any future payment attempts. I have also informed PayPal to block any future payment requests from Total VPN. Thank you for your assistance in safeguarding my account from unauthorized charges. Best regards, Anthony Marc Astolfi
