Several months ago, I ordered an 8-inch container from PODS in Depew, NY for a September [redacted] pickup and delivery for a less than 10-mile move. Initially quoted $[redacted] over the phone, I was surprised when $[redacted]+ was charged to my credit card. Despite feeling deceived, I proceeded with the transaction. I requested to keep the container for one month as agreed upon, however, I had to follow up multiple times to schedule the pickup date. Finally, after personal intervention from a manager, the container was delivered. Subsequently, the container was picked up and relocated to my new address, but I faced delays in its removal upon emptying it. Now, I have received a statement from Caine & Weiner Company in California requesting $[redacted].91 for storage fees with an account number of [redacted]09. Uncertain if this relates to PODS, I am concerned about possible safety issues at the warehouse and seek guidance in resolving this matter efficiently.

Hello, my name is Nick Merckling. I am reaching out to address an issue with one of the PODS trucks that damaged my property. Last Saturday, March 18th, a PODS container was delivered to my neighbor's address at [redacted]-31 87th St, Howard Beach, NY [redacted]. Unfortunately, the driver drove onto my sidewalk, causing damage to the cement. Despite my attempts to speak with the driver upon realizing the damage, he had already left the scene. As a disabled individual, it was challenging for me to address the situation promptly. I have documented the damage with photos and I am seeking guidance on how to proceed with repairing the sidewalk. You can easily reach me via email at [redacted] or on my cellphone at [redacted]. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Thank you, Nick

My lock is malfunctioning and won't latch, even with force. It's halfway full, and the driver acknowledged the issue during drop-off. The pickup is scheduled for June 7th, but I urgently need it fixed by June 6th for safety reasons. I'm distressed as the driver was aware of the problem and left it as is. I purchased a new lock that requires the metal bar to slide completely for it to work. I'm concerned about being unable to access it upon arrival in South Carolina if it's left in my driveway. Please contact me at [redacted] immediately, regardless of the hour. Your prompt assistance is crucial as I cannot postpone my move. Appreciate your swift action. Lynn S.

I've started loading my pod, but when I tried to close the door, the track detached from the housing, making it impossible to move the door. It's urgent because we're closing on our house sale next week and I can't access our belongings. I require a new pod delivered urgently and the damaged one picked up. The door track seems beyond repair on-site. Your prompt response is greatly appreciated.

My truck was traveling just north of I4 on I95 when the ropes to the PODS sign, which is a heavy tarp, came off and struck the front of my Toyota 4Runner. There appears to be no body damage, but significant markings and scrapes from the tarp are evident. I am holding you accountable for this. Please refer to the attached pictures. I expect a high-end detailing of the entire car as a result of this incident, pending any damages to the body or paint that may require correction. I anticipate a prompt response from you. Fortunately, this did not lead to a serious accident. In one of the pictures, you can see the driver looking back at the situation.

I recently ordered a POD for storage, and unfortunately, it was vandalized and caught on fire with all my belongings inside. The fire department came and filed a report. I have contacted the company and informed them that I purchased insurance for the pod and my possessions. However, it's been five months, and the pod is still in front of my house with hazardous materials, posing a danger to children in the area. I have tried scheduling pick-up times online and spent hours on hold with customer service, but I have not received any updates on my claim or the removal of the pod. I am now facing a three-day notice from my housing because of the unresolved situation with the pod. I need guidance on how to proceed to get compensation for my lost possessions and have the pod removed promptly.

I had a terrible experience with my POD. It leaked after a heavy rain, leaving my belongings soaked. Customer service was unhelpful, offering no compensation or resolution. I spent all day unpacking and drying my damaged items. Despite polite representatives, the manager was argumentative and uncooperative. I had movers scheduled and paid for nothing due to the POD issue. When the replacement POD didn't arrive, I canceled my order. Currently dealing with overcharged fees while on hold with customer service. This has been a truly disappointing experience, and I would rate it less than one star.
