I am currently on a one-semester academic leave of absence, with plans to return to full-time status next semester. However, Navient is requesting loan payments, claiming that I stopped attending school mid-semester last term, which is inaccurate. I only utilized half of the loan funds, as I had accepted the full amount without anticipating this leave of absence.

I recently received a letter from FAMS dated March 22, [redacted], claiming I had defaulted on a student loan from Sallie Mae, which I believe was mistakenly linked to a loan I signed for a neighbor's son named Francisco Oliver Franco. Back when I was a nurse, I had my TX Nursing License and Driver's License but due to ID theft concerns, nursing licenses are no longer issued as per the TX Board of Nursing's website. Franco is currently an MD researcher at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, holding the title of "Senior Clinical Research Assoc" since January [redacted]. It appears my identity might have been compromised, potentially tying me to a loan I did not authorize. This situation is troubling, and any assistance on how to address this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Central Credit Services has been handling my account for Navient since [redacted]. Initially, I agreed to pay $[redacted] per month but they ended up taking $[redacted] monthly from my account, causing me to stop automatic payments. Despite facing breast cancer in [redacted] and struggling with medical bills, I made late payments. Recently, Central Credit Services transferred my account to their Florida office, claiming I missed six months of payments due to the location change. I'm exhausted from the constant harassing phone calls and stress. My attempt to arrange payments for June and July [redacted] was refused, now forcing me to pay only $10 per month. I feel unfairly penalized considering the financial assistance big companies received in the past. When contacting Navient customer service for help, I was unable to reach a representative as the automated system kept disconnecting me despite my request for assistance.

I recently discovered a discrepancy in my student loan balance. My paperwork indicated it was around $15k, but Navient claimed it was $22k at graduation. I will need a few weeks to receive the statement to review. I'm concerned about my credit being affected and hesitant to make payments based on incorrect information. After speaking with a customer service rep who suggested forbearance before payment, I was alarmed to learn about potential negative consequences. When I inquired if making a payment without forbearance next week would be better, I was told it would have less impact. The call ended abruptly, adding to my frustration with the lack of thorough guidance and seeming indifference from the reps.

I recently settled my defaulted student loans with Navient through Account Control Technologies and made the payment in full on 09/04/[redacted] using a credit card. I have proof of payment for the agreed-upon deferred loans payoff amount. I have requested an email confirmation from Navient by 09/26/[redacted], showing that my account has a zero balance for both current amount due and the overall balance. When I contacted Navient after settling the defaulted student loans, the customer service representative had difficulty communicating in English clearly. Despite paying off the loans with a credit card promptly, Navient is asking for a bank statement from my personal checking account to verify the payment. This seems unnecessary as the payment was not made with a debit card associated with that account. The alternative they offered was to wait 30 days to receive a confirmation letter indicating the loans are paid in full or have a zero balance.

I recently had my loan transferred from ACS to your company. My loan fell behind due to issues with payment options from ACS. After several attempts to contact your company, I was informed that repayment would resume in December at $60 a month. However, I received a bill for $78 for November, which is incorrect. My loan balance with ACS was $[redacted].30, but your company states it is $[redacted].10. I prefer the accuracy and communication from ACS and wish to have my loan reverted back to them. I intend to send in my monthly payment of $60 as advised, even though it is higher than ACS's amount. Your handling of this situation is disappointing to me.

On December 5, [redacted], I spoke with a representative regarding adjusting my monthly payments due to my unemployment situation. I was advised to complete the Income Repayment Plan application that was emailed to me. Despite multiple attempts, I have not received any documents or response from the Federal Student Aid Company. I have been unable to log in with my FSA ID as my email and phone number were not verified. I was informed that I need to wait for paperwork in the mail, which could take 7-10 days, to reset my account or receive a new username/password. As of today, I have not received any communication, and my monthly payments are still unresolved. I am seeking assistance or alternative options to address this matter promptly.

I have been experiencing issues with Navient for the past two years. Despite being on an Income-Driven Repayment (IDR) plan, they cancelled it without valid reasons, even though my payments were consistently on time. Navient's representatives are untrustworthy and often resort to deceitful tactics, such as placing borrowers on deferment or forbearance without consent. Moreover, they are uncooperative in handling paperwork promptly, resulting in continuous resubmissions from the borrower's end. The company insists on verbal communication and deliberately avoids written correspondence regarding borrowers' accounts, which appears to facilitate their unlawful practices.

I have been a student with special needs since a young age, as reflected in my academic accommodations. I successfully completed my education at Drew University and Ross University School of Medicine. Despite finishing my medical coursework, rotations, and exams in spring [redacted], passing the Step 2 CK exam took multiple attempts before earning my medical diploma in January [redacted]. This delay meant I couldn't pursue residency immediately. Due to needing exam accommodations, scheduling challenges arose, prolonging the process. I aimed to apply for residency in September [redacted] for a July [redacted] start, but without recent clinical experience, I lacked current referrals, necessitating volunteer work for up-to-date recommendations. This led to delays in applying, now targeting September [redacted] for a July [redacted] residency. To prevent default on my student loans, my parents, D. and A. Richlin, intend to make a lump-sum payment of $40,[redacted] from their retirement savings to settle my debt while I pursue professional opportunities. Thank you for your understanding and attention.

I have been consistently making my monthly loan payments, often even submitting them ahead of schedule. Recently, I was placed on a payment plan that temporarily suspended my payments for a few months, but I resumed making monthly payments thereafter. Despite my efforts, my credit report indicates that I am 90 days past due, even though I made a payment just last month. I find it distressing that my credit score has plummeted by 93 points when I am actively attempting to fulfill my financial obligations. I recently applied for an income-based repayment plan and had aspirations of purchasing a home, but now my compromised credit score poses a barrier to these plans. I am seeking guidance on potentially rectifying this discrepancy on my credit report since I have been diligently making payments. I am disheartened by this situation as I have been striving to prevent such credit repercussions.

Hello, I have been receiving multiple Robo Phone messages daily on my landline for the past month and a half. The automated messages request my social security number or loan number, mentioning an account I do not have with Navient. I do not have an account or any history of a loan with Navient, and I am unable to access the website provided in the messages. Please provide me with a phone number to contact you and provide the correct information for the intended individual. Additionally, I suggest updating your website to prevent this issue from affecting others in the future. Thank you.

I am facing a problem when trying to pay my bill to Netflix. I have borrowed money and it is sent to Netflix, but I am unable to call Netflix because my phone service provider ViaSat is blocking the calls. Despite having unlimited long-distance and $[redacted] local dialing, ViaSat has not resolved the issue. I tried using GetHuman, but I am unsure how to navigate it properly. This is preventing me from contacting Netflix, so I am requesting GetHuman to assist me in connecting with them. Thank you for understanding my situation.

After using a third-party service to transfer my loan to Navient, there was a lack of communication regarding payments and account status. Despite the third party providing my contact information to Navient, I was unaware of any issues until my account was delinquent and reflected negatively on my credit report. Navient did not notify me of the payment problems, resulting in a negative impact on my credit score as I was in the process of purchasing a home. I have since rectified the situation by bringing the account up to date. I believe the delinquency and late payment on my credit report should be removed due to the failure of Navient to communicate issues and obtain correct contact details from the third party.

I recently received notification from my university regarding my student loans. According to NSLDS (National Student Loan Data System), I have borrowed $45,[redacted] in direct subsidized and unsubsidized loans, exceeding the $31,[redacted] undergraduate aggregate loan limit. A portion of the direct unsubsidized loan amount ($12,[redacted]) exceeds the usual $10,[redacted] limit for 5 terms, likely due to parent PLUS loan denials, resulting in an excess of about $2,[redacted]. I am required to address this issue before receiving any additional Title IV aid, including Direct unsubsidized and Grad PLUS loans. To resolve this matter, I have been advised to contact my loan servicer and consider the following options: 1. Repay the excess amount over $2,[redacted] to the Department of Education. 2. Request and complete a loan reaffirmation letter. 3. Consolidate the exceeding amount of the unsubsidized loans. Could anyone assist me in completing a loan reaffirmation letter, please?

I recently purchased a home in Lake Odessa, MI and had a new phone number assigned ([redacted]) less than a week ago. Since then, Navient has been calling this number incessantly starting at 8:00am and repeatedly throughout the day. When I attempt to answer, I encounter silence and what seems like a busy signal tone. Despite my efforts, Navient's customer service representatives have informed me that without an account number, they are unable to assist me. As I do not have an account with them, I am unable to provide a number. The number being called is registered on the do not call list, and I am neither a past nor current customer. I kindly request that the calls to [redacted] cease immediately, or I will have to take legal action for harassment. Thank you.

I took out two loans to cover my son's college expenses, consistently making payments. When my son started Law school, he acquired his own loans for that program. However, Navient mistakenly included my loans under his account summary. These loans are my responsibility, not his. I am requesting to have them removed from his account so I can manage these loans independently from his. For further discussion, please reach out to me at [redacted]. Thanks.

Dear Navient, As a U.S. Veteran eligible for loan forgiveness, I am reaching out for assistance. President Donald Trump recently directed the Education Department to simplify the process for forgiving federal student loans held by veterans with disabilities. Veterans and other borrowers with disabilities are eligible to have their federal student loans canceled without the need for extensive paperwork. Trump emphasized the complete erasure of debt for disabled veterans during a veterans convention in Louisville, Ky. He also urged all 50 states to waive applicable state taxes on the forgiven loans. Education Secretary Betsy DeVos expressed gratitude for the President’s initiative in providing crucial student loan relief. I am hopeful that Navient will prioritize my needs as a disabled veteran and offer the support I have rightfully earned. Your prompt attention to this issue is greatly appreciated. Thank you, A U.
