I recently reopened my previous unemployment claim, but it is currently showing as pending resolution. Unfortunately, I have not received any updates or payments in the last few weeks. I have attempted to contact the office by phone numerous times, but with little success. When I manage to get through, the automated system states that all representatives are busy and either disconnects the call or informs me that they are not accepting any more calls. I have heard about a call back feature to retain my place in the queue, but there is no clear guidance on how to utilize this option.

My claim instructed me to contact DETR for clarification. Upon reaching out to the department to set up an active pin number, I was informed of a system issue causing a delay in their response. I was supposed to receive a call either last Friday or Monday, but I haven't heard back yet. This is preventing me from fulfilling the weekly employment reporting requirements, leaving me in a difficult financial situation. I had been quarantined due to the coronavirus and was unable to work as a Lyft driver. Despite surviving and recovering from pneumonia, I am still isolating and struggling to make ends meet in a more affordable rental. I was assured I filed with the correct department, but the lack of communication with a claims assistant is hindering the processing of my claim. - Linda

My name is Barbara J. Chapman, and my claim number is [redacted]. I made an error while trying to reactivate my claim by incorrectly answering a question about employment comp benefits. I mistakenly thought it referred to unemployment benefits and answered "yes," providing 03/29/[redacted] as the starting date, which was appropriate for unemployment. However, I have never applied for workman's comp in my 55-year work history. I have tried calling the UI number numerous times, but they never allow me to leave a callback number. Every day around 4 pm, they say the queue is full and to call back the next day. This has been going on for three days. I would greatly appreciate it if you could resolve this issue for me. Thank you in advance for your help. Sincerely, Barbara Chapman.

Hello, I have been facing difficulty in reaching a representative for several days now. Following unauthorized transactions on my bank account, I opened a new account and updated my direct deposit details with employnv.gov on October 14th. However, I did not receive my weekly benefit payment for the week ending on October 17th and the Lost Wages Assistance payments for the weeks ending in August. Despite confirming no issues in my account, I am still missing a total of $1,[redacted]. After numerous attempts to contact support, the recent disbursement of my latest benefit payment indicates my new account is now in use. I have shared proof of ownership of the account through documents like a voided check and direct deposit form, and also sent a summary email last Friday. I appreciate any assistance in resolving these missing payments promptly. Thank you, A. Barile

I did not receive payment for the first 4 weeks of my unemployment PUA claim. It took several months for me to become eligible for unemployment because I didn't receive a letter from the insurance informing me that I needed to file my [redacted] and [redacted] taxes before receiving any benefits. I filed my taxes for those years on October 15th, [redacted]. I have received payment for all weeks except the first 4. Additionally, I have an appeal that is supposed to be resolved within 7 to 10 working days, but it has been 3 weeks now with no results. Despite my daily attempts to get someone to investigate my claims or guide me to the right person, I have not received any responses.

Since July 20th, I haven't received any payments. By error, I mistakenly backdated my claim by two weeks, resulting in being paid for 15 weeks instead of 13. This discrepancy could be due to a maximum backdating limit set intentionally. I initially filed for a 13-week extension but should have started with regular unemployment benefits first. Despite qualifying for an extension, I encountered issues with unreported earnings, which I promptly rectified by submitting necessary documents in various ways. Despite all my efforts, I'm now waiting for a resolution, feeling frustrated with the lack of progress in resolving my case. The system's inefficiency and the long waiting times for adjudication are concerning, especially with the growing backlog and limited resources. I have appealed my case, but the delay in scheduling is disheartening. The current situation is stressful, given the financial strain and uncertainty it has caused.

I have submitted 48 weeks of PUA weekly claims up until 1/4/21. After expecting a check for $[redacted]+58, I was suddenly told I am disqualified. I have been unwell and rely on this support as a self-employed individual struggling to pay bills and facing eviction. Selling flowers barely covers my expenses, and a few weeks ago, I was flagged for excessive earnings of $[redacted]. This situation contradicts the eligibility decision made in November [redacted] following an appeal. I urgently need clarification and resolution as I am running out of funds to buy flowers for my business. Being self-employed entails costs that often exceed profits, leaving me with barely enough after factoring in expenses to make ends meet. I can be reached at [redacted] or [redacted] Your prompt assistance is greatly appreciated. - Victoria (Vickie) H.

I contacted unemployment regarding filing for the week ending 5/22/[redacted]. I recently had a job interview at Sprouts Farmers Market on May 18 and was hired on May 19. Despite working two hours during setup at Sprouts, my official work didn't start until the following week. Unfortunately, due to an employee schedule mistake, I haven't received any work this week. Considering the part-time nature of my job and the reduced hours, I am unsure if I qualify for part-time unemployment benefits. I attempted to reach out for guidance before filing my claim, but was unable to get through. I want to ensure I am not unintentionally committing unemployment fraud by proceeding with my claim.
