I made a mistake with my taxes last year. I was using TurboTax and almost finished submitting them, but didn't have my bank info ready to pay. By the time I realized, it was too late. Now I need to resolve this and pay the overdue taxes and penalties. I'm feeling anxious but I'm ready to tackle this issue. I'm looking for guidance on how to proceed promptly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, good morning. My name is Adesina Olumuyiwa Olusanya, and I used to live at [redacted] Heartside Avenue S, Apartment [redacted], Cottage Grove, MN [redacted]. I submitted a [redacted] rent tax return, and the refund was issued in August [redacted]. Unfortunately, at that time, I was dealing with immigration issues under the current government. I tried to authorize my roommate to deposit the money into her account with a notarized letter of attorney, but that was not permitted. Now that I am no longer in the same location, neither of us can access the refund. It is meant for both of us, but my roommate is also unable to cash it. I am seeking assistance to access the funds as my roommate is hesitant to claim it in fear of government repercussions. If necessary, I can provide my SSN and other details upon request. Thank you.

I submitted my [redacted] tax return to the Minnesota Department of Revenue and was informed by my bank that the savings account I listed for direct deposit is no longer active as it was closed in January [redacted]. I need to update my bank account information to avoid any issues with my refund. Can someone from the Minnesota Department of Revenue please reach out to me at [redacted] or provide me with instructions on how to update my account? Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Ka Y.
