Hello, I have been consistently receiving unexplained UIA Card mail addressed to various individuals from [redacted] to [redacted]. I have returned 8 letters from the Dept. of Labor and UIA in Detroit, MI to the U.S. Post Office due to this issue. It appears to be fraudulent as I keep getting mail for random people. I suspect my identity has been compromised as this has caused me stress. I've lived at this address for 2 years, while the previous tenant, George Elias, lived here for 6 years before passing away. I have informed the postal service that these individuals do not live here and have tried to address the situation as best as I can. I kindly ask for this to be rectified to avoid further inconvenience. Stay safe and blessed. Sincerely, Gloria.

I was informed the certification was declined in March [redacted] by UIA. They mentioned my employer reported that they offered my position back in June [redacted]. Despite contacting my employer, they stated they clarified in March [redacted] to UIA that I was not offered my position back. I have tried to follow up on my appeal/protest filed in March [redacted] via phone appointments with UIA approximately 10 times. Each time, I receive conflicting information. Recently, I was informed that UIA has not received any clarification from my employer. In June [redacted], my employer sent another letter confirming that I was not called back to work and shared a copy of the fax sent to UIA with me. I uploaded this letter to my UIA file, visible under submissions. However, when speaking with Betty on the phone, she mentioned not being able to see it and requested another upload. I had an online chat where the representative claimed to see the document. I am hopeful for a positive resolution to my protest as I was indeed not called back to work.

I received a letter requesting details regarding my previous unemployment claim, due by July 9th. It arrived on July 7th, leaving no time to comply. I encountered numerous issues with the online system and customer service, being unable to retrieve my past information. I had trouble logging in due to forgetting my password and was told my details were associated with multiple accounts. Despite trying to contact customer service multiple times, I couldn't reach anyone and faced a looming deadline. The lack of guidance and support on the website added to my confusion. I ask for leniency from Michigan Unemployment and more time to submit my response by mail. The outdated contact information associated with my account compounded the problems. Please consider the challenges faced during the pandemic and provide assistance in resolving this matter without assuming fault on my part.

I am currently locked out of my Michigan unemployment website and urgently need assistance. A lady helped unlock my account before, but I need access to input my driver's license number, social security number, and tax details provided by the IRS to claim unemployment benefits. I received a detailed guide from the IRS stating that I am eligible for unemployment assistance due to my employment before the pandemic. This help is crucial as I am currently residing in a garage and need to secure my former living space. My wallet was stolen, and someone is unlawfully using my identity for unemployment claims. I am unable to obtain a new ID until this matter is resolved. I am willing to provide any necessary information, like my birthplace, mother's maiden name, and work history, to verify my identity. I appreciate any help in resolving this issue promptly, as it is affecting my living situation and job prospects. Thank you for your understanding and support in advance.

I am eligible for PUA and have faxed and uploaded all the requested documents to the UIA. However, for each week of my payments, it says there is a non-monetary issue. When I chatted with an agent on the portal, they mentioned that a different department needs to process it to unlock my payments. All necessary documents are submitted, and there are no other issues. I urgently need this money for my kids. I appreciate any help in resolving this quickly. My name is Yekaterina Curry, claim number CA529315-0, DOB: 01/13/[redacted], last four of SSN: [redacted]. You can contact me at [redacted] or through [redacted] Thank you for your assistance.

Hello, I am an employer in Michigan. I have contacted the Employer Unemployment Customer Service line 8 times today seeking assistance regarding a former employee's benefits. Unfortunately, as a Michigan employer, I have not been able to receive the help I need. Despite the bi-weekly statements providing a number to reach the Office of Employer Ombudsman (OEO) at 1-[redacted], this number does not connect to employer services. After pressing 3 and then 3 again for employers, I am redirected to employee customer service. I have explained my situation six times only to be transferred to a voicemail for employees filing claims. I am frustrated and seeking assistance as an employer. Thank you, Mark R.

I was informed by Ford Motor Company medical that I need to quarantine for 30 days because someone in my household tested positive for Covid-19. We only have one kitchen and one bathroom, so I must stay isolated. I am unsure whether Ford or I should file for unemployment compensation. Under normal circumstances, Ford handles filing for me, but due to Covid-19, I am uncertain. Thank you. Suzanne T.

I was informed by Ford Motor Company medical that I need to quarantine for ** days because someone in my household tested positive for Covid-**. I live in a situation with one kitchen and bathroom, causing the need for isolation. There seems to be confusion regarding who should apply for my unemployment benefits during this time. Typically, Ford handles the filing process for me. However, with the special circumstances related to Covid-**, I am unsure if I should file or if Ford will take care of it. I appreciate any clarification on this matter. Thank you. **ST

Hello, my name is Justin R. York and my UIA claim number is CA555398-0. My employer, Wolverine Plating Company, approved me for 20 weeks of benefits. I have been certifying my claims from August 21, [redacted], to December 18, [redacted]. However, I have not received any payments and it shows a stop pay indicator. Initially, my certifications show as submitted with payment information, but then they change to stop pay indicator without any funds reaching my chosen payment method. I have tried reaching out through my miwam account and phone calls, but have not been able to speak to a representative. I even received a questionnaire regarding a late filing due to covid exposure. I am struggling with mounting bills and am looking for assistance in receiving the benefits owed to me. Thank you for your help in this matter.

I have been waiting for four weeks for my benefits as my claims are stuck in a Nonmonetary Status. I have provided proof of being unfairly let go from a 13-week job due to Covid-19, along with medical documentation. I am anxious about bills as I have been out of work since 10/29/21. I am requesting UIA to release my benefits for the past 4 weeks (01/08-1/29) promptly. I also need assistance with a utility bill due today. Despite applying for over 70 jobs with my medical assistant qualifications, I have not been hired. I feel discouraged by the job market's lack of consideration for my skills. I am also dealing with a stagnant application process for the CERA program, and battling with health issues. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

On 12/21/21, I tested positive for Covid and was instructed by my boss to stay home for 10 days before returning to work. Despite feeling better three days later, when I inquired about coming back, she refused. I trusted her decision as I work in an Assisted Living Facility with elderly residents. I was due to return on 1/4/22, but a disagreement regarding a resident resulted in my termination two weeks prior without clear explanation. Today, I received a letter citing poor attendance during my Covid quarantine as the reason for my dismissal. Can I file for unemployment benefits in this situation?

Hi, I'm Cornelia Boyce, a retired senior on a limited fixed income. I've been eligible for unemployment benefits for over three months now but haven't received any payments or updates since the initial determination letter. I'm struggling to make ends meet and have submitted all required documents, even my overdrawn bank statements. The delay is causing me immense stress, impacting my health to the point where I need a heart monitor. I've never had health issues before and have worked diligently all my life. With work being unavailable for months, I'm actively searching for new opportunities but need assistance to survive until then. Waiting four months for benefits is too long. I feel lost and unsure of what to do next. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Cornelia Boyce Claim #: CB315810-01

I am still waiting for my benefits. I completed the registration process at the end of July. I have not received any payment since June due to being stuck in a work limbo situation with my former employer. Now I am getting a stop payment notice. When I try to contact unemployment, I keep getting disconnected because all agents are busy helping other customers. The chat option also ends due to a high volume of inquiries. I am not sure what else to do since I cannot reach anyone for assistance. Can someone please call me? I am willing to wait on the phone for answers.
