I recently applied for unemployment due to being sent home because of the coronavirus situation. However, after certifying, my account now shows "ineligible week" status for the past two weeks. It's already stressful dealing with the current state of the country, and reaching out to someone at the unemployment office or on the website is proving to be very challenging. I'm not sure if the issue lies with the agency, my employer, or if it's something I did incorrectly. I just want to resolve this matter promptly.

I am experiencing difficulty receiving the text message authentication code for my unemployment login. Despite numerous attempts to have it resent, I have been unsuccessful. I have been unable to reach a live agent for assistance, and the number provided, 1-[redacted], disconnects due to a high volume of calls. I have followed instructions to contact customer service through this number, but have been unable to speak to a representative. I simply wish to resolve this issue promptly to access my account.

I encountered an issue with Miwam when I tried to log in, which resulted in the creation of a duplicate account. This has caused me to be locked out of my UIA and MIBridges accounts. Despite my efforts to contact support over the phone for the past two weeks, I have been unsuccessful in reaching anyone. My unemployment is not the problem, but I need access to my UIA/Miwam and MIBridges accounts. I believe resolving the duplicate account that was created unknowingly will allow me to use my original UIA/Miwam account. It seems like a straightforward fix if only I could get in touch with a representative.

Hello, my name is Elijah. I am married and have a 5-year-old boy. While creating an account on MIWAM, I followed all the steps like setting up a username, password, and security questions. However, when I entered my SSN and DOB, a message popped up saying my MiWAM account is locked and to contact customer service at 1-[redacted]. I have been trying to reach them for four days now but haven't been successful. I am facing a technical issue and feel lost as I don't know what to do. It's frustrating that I am stuck in this loop where the website refers me to call and the phone number directs me back online without a solution. I appreciate any help with this matter.

Hello, my name is James Gushen, born on June 18, [redacted]. On March 30, [redacted], I certified for my usual two weeks, but this time I only received payment for one week. I received a medical form in the mail, which I do not require as I am fit to work. Although I did not print my submission page, I was informed that I would receive $[redacted].00 the next business day. I am uncertain about the issue but would appreciate a prompt resolution. I acknowledge that you are dealing with a high volume of inquiries and truly value your assistance. Thank you, James Gushen.

I submitted my application in Michigan on Sunday, March 22, [redacted]. Previously, I was the director of a daycare center that has since closed down due to the current situation. My coworkers have already begun receiving benefits. I had been employed there for 10 months and lived in Michigan for one year. When I visit the Unemployment website, it only shows that my application is processing. Upon calling MARVIN on the designated date, it stated that I was not recognized in the system. I am eager to comply with all requirements but am unsure of how to proceed. The owner mentioned I needed to file a waiver, which I have already done.

I completed my certification but I have not received any payment yet. The system indicates there is a pending issue with an adjudication and the State of Colorado. I believe they have not finished their review, but I am in urgent need of the payment. The system also states I left voluntarily, so I am confused as to why approval is needed. Is there a way to expedite this process? Will I receive retroactive pay? Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you, K.

Hi, I previously had an unemployment claim that ended on March 3rd, [redacted]. I tried to apply for an extension, but unfortunately, I was informed that I didn't meet the earnings requirement due to not including the income I earned from my other two jobs where I was working as an independent contractor. Specifically, I earned $3,[redacted].32 coaching baseball for Brandon School District in June [redacted] and $1,[redacted].25 working for One Source Restoration, LLC. I failed to report this income earlier as I hadn't paid taxes on it yet. However, both amounts were included in my state income tax filing in early March. I am wondering if these earnings can now be considered as part of my total income for that period since they have been taxed by the state of Michigan. Thank you, Gregory Ganfield

I am having trouble accessing my account online. After entering my social security number and birthday, a message indicates that my account is locked and I am prompted to call [redacted]. When I call, I encounter two issues: either the automated system does not respond after selecting the language option, repeating the prompts before disconnecting, or I am told to file my claim online as all agents are busy and then disconnected. I simply want to understand why my account is locked, as I have followed all the required steps. I am struggling to get assistance and would appreciate speaking to a representative to resolve this issue so that I can complete my claim work online. Thank you for your help.

I am experiencing difficulty with completing my benefits application due to duplicate IDs and passwords. Unaware my previous login credentials were still active, I created new ones after a layoff last summer. On attempting to proceed with my application online, I receive an error message indicating my SSN is associated with a different MILogin, hindering my progress. I request to remove the old login details and utilize the new ones. If this isn't feasible, kindly reach out via email to confirm the accuracy of the old credentials and eliminate the new set.

I am Michael K. and I am seeking assistance with my unemployment claim. I became unemployed on 3/16, with my last paycheck dated 3/27. I submitted my claim on 3/18, and although I initially claimed weeks before being informed that my employer planned to use vacation time, I have diligently continued using MARVIN to claim my weeks. Unfortunately, MARVIN indicated that my payment would be zero dollars. Yesterday, I spent the entire day waiting on live chat and was able to briefly speak with Tracy before being disconnected. Tracy mentioned that there may have been human error or a glitch as my claim reflected retirement incomes, which is inaccurate. Despite having retirement accounts like a 401k, I am not receiving any retirement payments. I am 31 years old and would appreciate guidance on how to rectify this error to receive my unemployment benefits, as it has been almost a month without pay. I have lodged a protest on MiWAM regarding the retirement income issue. I am looking for a resolution and appreciate any assistance. Thank you for your help.

As an independent contractor working for multiple companies, I filled out the online forms, but it stated that I wasn't eligible for benefits. Even though the site is now accommodating contractors like me, it still indicates that I do not qualify for benefits when I log in. Unfortunately, there seems to be no way to communicate this issue. The phone line I've tried calling is always busy, and when I respond to emails asking if the problem has been resolved, I indicate that it hasn't, but there has been no follow-up.

I lost my job on 03/24/[redacted] due to COVID-19 and have been struggling to access benefits since. Despite numerous attempts, I have not been able to retrieve my account details linked to my social security number. I have called hundreds of times daily, only to encounter automated systems and long wait times with no callbacks. This has been incredibly frustrating as I urgently need assistance to support my family. I am desperate to speak with a live agent to either regain access to my account or set up a new one. Please, I need help promptly.

Today, I contacted Marvin to file my claims for the wrong week of March 15-21 and then correctly filed for the following two weeks: March 22-28 and March 29-April 4, where I also provided my work hours for the last week. I recently received a letter in the mail (L[redacted]) stating that I do not meet the monetary requirements for my claim. This situation is causing me frustration as I am not working much. I am seeking assistance to resolve this issue.

Regarding C[redacted]-0 Maureen Suggitt
Letter ID: March 30, [redacted] L[redacted] C[redacted]-0 Maureen T. Suggitt Claim: Name: Paper Monetery Determination Plus Important Claim Information
I have filed for unemployment, been approved (Claim determination $[redacted].00 per week) with benefits starting on 3/22/20. I have completed 2 weeks of certification, but it is displaying 'Open Non-Monetary issue'.
There seems to be one remaining issue regarding a 'quit' explanation for a small job, which is still marked as 'in progress'. I have submitted the explanation document twice, agree with the Determination Letter, and the listed amounts from each company.
The 10-day waiting period mentioned in the letter dated 3/27 has already passed, and I expected this issue to be resolved by now.
Could you please assist in resolving this matter as I am in urgent need of income? If there are any additional requirements from my end, please let me know so I can address them promptly. Thank you,
Maureen Suggitt

I have completed all the necessary steps for my unemployment claim. My monetary determination is sorted, and I have consistently certified online as required. However, while my certifications show the correct date, monetary amount, as well as deductions, the payment section displays 0.00 and indicates an "Open Non-Monetary Issue." I urgently need this matter resolved so I can receive the funds in my bank account. With rent, bills, and three teenagers to support, this delay is causing me significant hardship. I attempted to contact the unemployment office at [redacted] and [redacted] without success. Hours on hold and attempts at online chats have not yielded any results. The current process is frustrating, and I hope for a more efficacious way to assist individuals in need.

I've tried to create a new account but have not been successful. I have been attempting to reach out for assistance for a week now. I applied for unemployment benefits and was recently accepted. However, when I tried to certify as instructed in the email, the system prompts me to go through the entire application process again instead of allowing me to certify for the past two weeks. I am self-employed, if that information helps troubleshoot the issue.
I received an email outlining the certification process and advising not to certify on Monday, April 20, due to high traffic. The email stated that I should certify every two weeks by logging into my MiWAM account and answering the certification questions. It also mentioned that after certification, barring any issues, I should expect to receive payment within 7-10 days. I have been unable to access the certification prompt and wanted to seek guidance on how to proceed.

I am Lanicea P., and I have tried to reach out several times without receiving any responses or being able to connect through online chats. I applied for unemployment due to being laid off by my employer in March. Despite certifying my unemployment since March **nd, I have not received any funds and have been struggling financially since then. I am frustrated with being told to be patient and that everyone will eventually get approved. When will I receive the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA)? I am on the verge of losing it as I am suffering without any unemployment or stimulus money. I simply wish the Unemployment Insurance Agency (UIA) would at least acknowledge my situation.

I submitted my unemployment claim on 3/19/[redacted] and promptly received a determination letter on 3/20. However, I was informed that I needed to complete a UIA [redacted] form for one of my employers who did not report earnings. Despite requesting the form on 3/20 and being assured it would be sent by mail, I have not received any further communication from Michigan UIA since. I have repeatedly tried to seek assistance to no avail. I have successfully certified for 4 weeks and will certify for 2 more next Monday, yet each certification shows "Open Non-Monetary Issue". Two weeks ago, I managed to find and submit the UIA [redacted] form along with additional documents but have not received any updates. Phone calls go unanswered, the chat service is unhelpful, and my emails have not been replied to.
