I previously had a credit card with your company. Regrettably, due to my battle with cancer affecting my breast and bladder, I had to cease payments. Currently, thankfully, they are in remission, and my cognitive function has improved. I have been attempting to contact the fraud department for a week now but have been unsuccessful due to phone system malfunctions. Each time I am placed on hold by a customer service agent, the line goes dead after endless wait with only the monotonous music playing. There are two unrecognized charges on my credit card statement that need to be addressed promptly. I am always punctual with my credit card payments, but this month I made a mistake. I paid $[redacted] on July 3rd when my payment wasn't due until the 28th. Despite my early payment, it was applied to June's statement instead of July's – leading to confusion. When I received my July statement, the $[redacted] payment wasn't reflected. Contacting customer service, they acknowledged the error but were unable to resolve it in time. I have spoken with three representatives, each assuring me they would make the necessary notes for corrections. Unfortunately, the issue remains unresolved, and now I am receiving late payment notices and my credit report is affected. I can only make one payment monthly and cannot afford to pay twice due to this misunderstanding. I urge the credit card company to rectify this situation, ensure my payment is correctly allocated to July, and prevent any negative impact on my credit history. I submitted a $[redacted] payment on September 1, which was Labor Day weekend. While I understand the delay, it did not reflect on my account. Subsequently, I made another $[redacted] payment on September 13, which still hasn't posted to my account, due today. Despite numerous calls, the same unhelpful responses are given, claiming it will be applied today, the due date. This delay is unprecedented as payments have historically been processed within a week. Due to these issues, I've decided to close my account. Unfortunately, there was a $[redacted] payment scheduled to go to Merrick. I'm disappointed that it has come to this as I valued the service, but I can't take this risk in the current environment.

In March [redacted], I fell behind on my Merrick Bank credit card payments and let customer support know about my financial difficulties. Despite making smaller payments irregularly for a couple of months, in June [redacted], I realized a payment was rejected by the system after the money was already used. To settle the account, I paid the balance in July [redacted]. However, when attempting my final payment, I encountered another rejection. I made sure it went through and was informed my security deposit would be refunded by check within 30 days. It's been almost two months, and I still haven't received the refund. My account was also closed without notification despite my attempts to communicate my situation. I urgently need my security deposit back since I've fulfilled my payment obligations, and the delay is frustrating.

I had a payment set for September 26th, but it was actually charged on the 28th, causing a delay. As a result, my account was short by $2.50 when another bill was charged. I aim to have precise funds available. I request that future payments are processed on the correct day without resulting in late fees attributable to delays on their end, not mine.

I recently received an email stating I owe $70. I never received a credit card, statement, or account information after applying in August. When I tried to log in with my email, it showed no account found. I can't reset my password as I don't have an account number. Please send me a bill with my account number via email.

My name is Melvin Mosby, and I have an account with your company. I was informed that after making seven payments, I would be eligible for a credit increase. Today, November 20th, was the promised date for this increase. I waited eagerly, only to find out that I did not qualify because one payment was made a day late. This has caused a significant inconvenience for me as I was relying on that credit increase. The delay in processing the payment on my card has now left me feeling extremely disappointed.
