I purchased a PS4 game PS2020 and was told to pay through ServiPay. I made the payment on May 7th and have the receipt from ServiPay. They asked for my address and commune details, which I provided. They have all my information, but there has been no response from Mercado Libre. I have not received the game I bought for 19,[redacted]. I gave them my phone number, but they haven't contacted me at all. I need a quick response to get my money back if the PS4 game doesn't arrive.

On Saturday, May 23, at 4:32 PM, I placed an order on Mercado Libre Mexico for an item scheduled to be delivered between May 27 and June 1. However, on May 26, DHL sent me an email, notifying me that due to delivery issues, I would have to pick up the package from their office.
Given the current pandemic situation and my high-risk status, I am unable to leave my home and visit the local DHL office to collect the item. Despite my efforts to seek assistance via their website and phone helpline, I have been unable to speak with a representative.
I respectfully request that Mercado Libre arranges for DHL to deliver the item to my home as originally paid for. If this is not feasible, I would prefer to have the item returned and the order cancelled.
I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to a prompt resolution. Thank you.

I have been a loyal customer of Mercado Libre for years, and my contact details have remained the same throughout. However, I recently faced challenges when trying to make a purchase. The system repeatedly asked for my address and would not accept my unchanged zip code. Despite trying different options, even selecting "I don't know my zip code" which ultimately showed me the correct one, the system still didn't recognize it. I have reached out for assistance multiple times without any response. I value my relationship with Mercado Libre and would like to resolve this issue to continue shopping with them. Otherwise, I may have to consider shopping elsewhere.

On May 16, [redacted], I made payments to vendors on Mercado Libre Mexico. The first payment was to Cachorros Beagle Tricolor for $2,[redacted].00 to Vendedor Martin Gomes Bolaños at phone number [redacted] (transaction #[redacted] - May 16). The second purchase was from Rodrigo Molina at phone number [redacted] (transaction #[redacted] - May 16) but the number was invalid. After unsuccessful attempts to reach both vendors, I canceled both transactions the next day. Mercado Libre requested more time to resolve the issues, promising a refund if the vendors do not respond within two business days. Despite receiving the same automatic response for both claims, no progress has been made as of June 1, [redacted]. Contacting Mercado Libre's offices in Latin America resulted in no response. Seeking assistance here for a solution. Thank you.

Dear Mercado Libre team,
I have been trying to contact you for several weeks but with no success. I am compiling all the ways I have tried to reach out to you to file a complaint as I have been adversely affected by not receiving any response. This concerns a property listing by Alejandro Rubio on your platform to sell real estate. The property in question is mine, and the price he listed is below the one I provided, causing me to lose potential buyers. Despite informing Mr. Alejandro to remove the listing months ago, it still appears in Google search results under "Guayacanes de la plaza," redirecting users to your site with an undervalued price. This misleading listing has hindered my ability to sell my property. If this matter is not resolved, I will have to escalate it to the relevant authorities for false advertising of my property.
I have attached the advertisement for your reference. I am seeking your assistance in resolving this issue promptly.
Sincerely,
John David Buitrago Cadavid

I am having trouble accessing my Mercado Libre account. They requested photos and email confirmation, but I can't remember my password. Spanish is not my first language, and although I use Mercado Libre frequently and am at level 5, I am struggling to log in. Despite changing my password, I am still unable to access my account. I have tried various forms of ID like my passport, permanent residence card, and Mexican license, but none seem to work. I am frustrated and in need of assistance from Mercado Libre customer service as I rely on this account for my groceries. The situation is distressing as I use the account regularly, and the current login issues are causing me significant inconvenience.

I purchased 3 connectors (Order #[redacted]) on July 14th. They were delivered on the 16th. Two were faulty when I tested them, and I haven't tested the third one yet. I immediately sent a picture to the seller and requested a replacement. They asked what I wanted to connect, I responded, but then they never replied again. The website said if I didn't hear back by July 22nd, I should contact Mercado Libre. Yesterday, I asked Mercado Libre for help, and they opened complaint #[redacted]. Today, I received a message saying they found irregular behavior in my account, closed the complaint, and the money will stay with the seller. I believe this could be a scam on Mercado Libre. I wanted to buy more things there, but not if this is how they handle issues. Please reopen complaint #[redacted], ensure the seller refunds me, and takes back the faulty connectors.

Hello, my name is Maria R. I have been a member of Mercado Libre for years and recently moved to Torreon Coahuila, Mexico. I have been ordering products from Mercado Libre for some time. During my last order of 7 products, I was asked to validate my information by scanning my ID, which I do not have. I have tried to contact Mercado Libre regarding this issue as they charged my Bank of America Debit Card on 08/08/[redacted], showing multiple charges. One charge has been cancelled, but the other three charges have not been refunded. I am concerned and hope to speak with someone soon. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Maria R. I have been a member of Mercado Libre for years. Recently, I moved to Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico, and have been ordering products from them. In my last order of 7 products, I was asked to validate my information by providing my IFE or INE, which I do not have. I only possess an American passport, driver's license, and Mexican passport due to having dual nationality. On 08/08/[redacted], Mercado Libre charged my Bank of America debit card with two $10.30 charges and two $[redacted].76 charges, shown as processing charges on my bank statement. One $[redacted].76 charge has been cancelled, but the other three charges remain unrefunded. I have been attempting to contact Mercado Libre to address this matter. If I do not receive a response, I will report these charges to my bank. You can reach me at [redacted] or via email at [redacted].

I attempted to purchase an MSI Gaming Laptop, but my payment method was declined twice. Initially, I used my Capital One credit card, which was rejected. On the following attempt with my bank Visa card, the payment was unsuccessful as well. Despite this, a payment was deducted from my account. Subsequently, I was notified that my order was cancelled. Now, I am seeking a refund.
To resolve the issue, there seems to be a requirement for identity verification to approve my card. The requested INE card is not applicable to me as I am not a Mexican citizen; however, I possess a Permanent Resident Visa.
Furthermore, I explored using PayPal, but encountered a request for credit card information during the final steps.
I am inquiring about the steps necessary to have my card approved to proceed with purchasing the laptop.

I recently purchased tennis shoes which were the wrong size from the Mexican store OXO, paid in cash. I promptly returned the shoes following their instructions, but did not receive a reimbursement despite providing documentation of the return. Mercado Libre ruled against me after I contacted their help desk and submitted proof of the return receipt from FedEx. Additionally, I purchased a sports t-shirt that was never delivered, and I was not reimbursed as well. Mercado Libre failed to provide proof of delivery for the t-shirt either. I have sent multiple messages with all the necessary documentation and ID numbers related to both transactions, but have not received a response in about 10 days. I am very disappointed with their service and will caution my friends, especially Americans, against using Mercado Libre due to their unacceptable behavior.

I ordered a belt on September 20th and made the payment, but it hasn't shown as credited. I paid on September 20th via Citibanamex transfer with OXXO transfer card, but it doesn't reflect in Mercado Libre. When I check my bank account, it shows that it was successfully sent on the same day at 1 AM. However, it hasn't been credited yet. I verified the account and reference numbers where I made the payment, and they are correct. I simply didn't select the concentrator account option when making the transfer, I just entered the account number and reference as required. Is there an issue with this? Could you please check if there was no incoming transaction in your account at that time on September 20th at 1 AM? I want a refund.

I purchased garden seeds and soil from Mercado Libre for $[redacted] pesos. I printed the receipt on November 30 and promptly made the payment at OXXO in Sayulita, Nayarit. I have a valid receipt from the payment. However, my account on Mercado Libre still shows that I have not paid. Despite multiple attempts to contact customer service over the past week, I have been unable to reach them due to technical issues with their help form. I have tried to submit my issue both on my PC and the phone app, but I cannot click on the contact button. I am now in a situation where I am out almost $[redacted] pesos and uncertain about what steps to take next. I am seeking either a refund or swift delivery of the items. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

I like shopping on Mercado Libre. I reside in Mexico under a Temporary Residence permit. I do not possess an INE or IFE. I only have my passport as my Temporal Residencia is in progress, and I am scheduled to collect my ID card on December 23. I also hold a Mexico VISA in my passport. Even though I have a USA passport and a driver's license, Mercado Libre does not recognize any of these forms of identification. I used to enjoy shopping on Mercado Libre, but now I can't access my account. Any assistance is appreciated.

I got locked out of my account while trying to change a payment method on Sunday, December 13. When asked to verify my identity, I was given two options. I sent photos of the front of my driver's license and passport, both of which are USA IDs, but they didn't download properly. The other option was phone verification, but I'm unable to change the country code from "+57" to +1 on the space provided. I am currently stuck trying to regain access to my account. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Yesterday, when completing an online order, I was asked for identification on a page. I provided my phone number and received a code to enter. Then they asked for a photo of my voter ID card. As a foreigner, I submitted my residence card. It felt strange to me. The "system" rejected it as a valid document from abroad. At that moment, I received an email from MercadoLibre reminding me of my order. I tried to cancel the transactions, but I do not know what happened.
I am worried about what happened with my document and the security of my card. Where was the hacking? Was it in the MercadoLibre system or somewhere else?

Hello, I wanted to bring to your attention a fraudulent activity that has been carried out using your company's name. An application named PART TIME UNION, available on the Play Store, falsely claims to have been invested in by the company called Mercado Libre from Argentina. Numerous individuals have been deceived and lost millions or even billions of dollars to this scheme. The scammers promised to start making payments on February 1st, [redacted], but as of now, no one has received their money. This situation is damaging the company's reputation as people are considering taking legal action against you for being associated with this scam. It is crucial that you investigate this matter promptly and take action to recover the funds for the affected individuals. Thank you.

Hello, I have been attempting to make a purchase on Mercado Libre México for three days. However, each time I try, I receive a message stating that I do not meet their security requirements. Despite using three different cards, I continue to face the same issue. Furthermore, this morning I received an email confirmation showing that I was charged twice for $[redacted].23 CAD. I have tried contacting them through their website, but have not been successful. I would appreciate any help on how to cancel these transactions and obtain a refund. I’m from Minatitlán Veracruz, Mexico. My daughter purchased a laptop at the Open Market on August 8, paying in cash. However, on August ten, the seller informed her that they couldn't send the product without explanation and advised her to cancel the order. Despite her attempts, her bank wouldn’t allow cancellation from her card. She managed to cancel it from her phone, receiving a notice with a folio number promising a refund in a few days. After not seeing the refund, she contacted the bank, but they couldn't locate the transaction with the provided folio number. Mercado Libre requested her ID and email to validate the transaction and promised to send an official email which has not been received yet, nor has the refund reflected in her account. We would appreciate any assistance on how to proceed. Thank you.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am Rizwan Ansari residing at 22/2 Duler, Mapusa, Goa, India. I wish to file a complaint against a fraudulent website called Honey. This website offers online earning opportunities for promoting products, with MercadoLivre as the company name advertised for fake products on the Honey platform. Falsely presenting itself as associated with MercadoLivre, Honey deceives users by promising good commissions on product purchases. My brother, Mr. Imran Ansari, joined Honey through a WhatsApp link shared by a friend. This fraudulent website operates on a multi-level commission system, requiring users to place orders. Failure to complete purchases results in the amount being stuck in the wallet, with my brother having a total stuck amount of 3,50,[redacted]/-. Upon learning about this scam, my brother informed me, prompting me to request your prompt intervention.
Yours faithfully,
Rizwan Ansari
