I submitted a rebate form about a month ago. On June 1, an envelope from Menards Rebate Center in Elk Mound was scheduled for delivery by USPS but never arrived. The same situation occurred on June 4th. I suspect the envelope may have been intercepted at the USPS sorting center in downtown Milwaukee. I would appreciate it if someone from Menards could check if the check that was supposed to be sent to me has been cashed, and provide information on the status and recipient if possible.

I recently tried to return three title boxes worth $89 each due to a family death. Unfortunately, I didn't have the receipt and faced difficulties at the Homewood store. Despite the store manager's approval, a staff member refused the return. This experience left me upset with the service. My name is Jewel Bonnee Hogan, and I can be reached at [redacted]. I would like the district manager to contact me regarding this issue.

I visited your store to return three discontinued boxes of tiles that were purchased there. The floor manager authorized the return, but the lady at the customer service desk was unhelpful and refused to process the return without the receipt. I urgently need to speak to someone regarding this matter. Yesterday's experience was unpleasant, and I would like to resolve this issue promptly. Unfortunately, due to recent family bereavements, I no longer have the receipt. Please contact me at [redacted]-[redacted] today to assist with this return. Thank you.

I ordered 75 bundles of shingles and ridge caps online from Menards and went to pick them up. I was taken aback when told it was a self-service pick up for 5,[redacted] pounds of shingles. I expressed my frustration but did not offend anyone. Despite feeling overwhelmed by their process, I eventually received my order. When I called to speak with the manager, I was exhausted and may have cursed out of frustration, leading to the call being terminated. After requesting a refund for the remaining materials, I felt unwanted as a customer. Now, I want to return the shingles I did receive as it seems Menards is uninterested in my business. I had already arranged for a roofer who had different shingles available.

While shopping at the Menards in Schererville, Indiana, I noticed an unattended piano and inquired with an employee if I could play some songs as a customer. The employee explained that the piano was reserved for contracted musicians but didn't allow me to play, mentioning it's open for musicians from 2pm until closing time. Despite my musical experience of 30 years in trumpet and piano, the employee's robotic responses and insistence on the contract policy made it challenging for me to showcase my talent. I roamed around the store until 3:00pm, and no musician was present at the piano. This experience of rigid and unaccommodating behavior from the staff raises concerns about the efficiency of the store management in Schererville, Indiana. Just sharing my encounter at your Schererville location.

Dear Customer Service,
I would like to bring to your attention that while we appreciate the 11% rebate offered at your store for home improvement needs, it is inconvenient for customers like me to incur additional costs for postage and envelopes to receive the rebate. I have noticed that your competitor, Home Depot, manages the rebate process electronically, making the 11% truly accessible to customers. It would be beneficial if your company could consider adopting a similar electronic system to enhance convenience and efficiency, eliminating the need for paper and postage. This is a suggestion that I believe has been raised by others as well. Thank you for considering this feedback, and I am eager to hear your response.
Sincerely,
T. Salamey

I am interested in purchasing the Mastercraft Morrison Navy Blue Steel Mission Lite Exterior Door system in a 32 by 80 size as the 36 by 80 would be too big for my door frame. My current door is falling apart, and I urgently need a replacement to secure my home. I am willing to make the purchase today, August 30, [redacted], as my credit card could max out soon. I have sufficient credit to cover the cost and am diligent with payments. Can the door be shaved down to fit my 79 by 31 door frame size? Please confirm availability and provide information on shipping costs to my home or local store. Thank you.

I had a frightening experience with the Performax scraper set today. While using the large scraper on bathtub caulking, the blade came out and caused a serious injury to my hand, requiring stitches and a splint. This incident wasn't due to operator error, and I urge for these scrapers to be removed from the shelf immediately to prevent similar accidents from happening to others. This was a first for me and it was a severe injury to my dominant hand, impacting my ability to work.

I purchased a garage door online from Menards for $[redacted].95. I reside in Montana, which doesn't levy sales tax. However, sales tax was erroneously applied to my total amount, bringing it to $[redacted].63. In Montana, there is no sales tax for items over $50. Can you please remove the sales tax from my order? Thank you for your assistance.

On April 7th, I attempted to process a return without a receipt at Menards. After being provided with a receipt inquiry form, I was instructed to seek a refund via email. Despite surrendering $[redacted] worth of oscillator blades, the refund process became convoluted. Following multiple email exchanges, the situation escalated when Menards involved the police, suspecting theft. By June 15th, charges of conversion were filed but were ultimately dismissed in September. Despite this resolution, Menards has been unresponsive to my inquiries regarding the refund or return of the items. The lack of communication and unresolved issue has left me feeling frustrated and unsure of how to proceed further in this matter.

I can't locate my large order in my account's order history. After being advised to wait up to 6 weeks due to its size, I still can't find it listed. I managed to access it through my credit card history. I waited beyond 90 days for the rebate, assuming it would appear in my orders.
Unfortunately, I seem to have erred by not retaining the rebate receipt, which might have been sent to my designer, S. Eisenmann. Although I paid for it with my credit card ending in [redacted], Susan doesn't possess a copy of the receipt. She has the confirmation email number, possibly [redacted]4 or [redacted]. Is there a way to retrieve this email for me to claim the rebate?
Thank you,
M. Edwardsen

On April 22, [redacted], I bought a Troybilt lawnmower that was faulty. After exchanging it twice, the lawnmower broke down after one use. Despite showing my bank statement with the purchase details due to a card replacement, Menards couldn't assist without the original receipt. I paid $[redacted].54 with my debit card for the malfunctioning lawnmower. As a senior on a fixed income, I can't afford this loss. I'm seeking a refund and hope we can resolve this frustrating situation promptly. Thank you for your attention.

I bought a Maytag washing machine from Menard's in Topeka, Kansas in September [redacted]. In April [redacted] and November [redacted], it had issues with the motherboard, causing significant downtime for repairs with "The Appliance Shop." Despite having a service appointment scheduled for December 4, [redacted], The Appliance Shop claimed no record and rescheduled for December 6, [redacted]. When I questioned the delay, I was met with resistance and escalating aggression from the manager. I feel the service has been inadequate given the recurring issue and disruptions to the machine's functionality for extended periods. I am requesting a replacement machine and for The Appliance Shop to no longer service appliances in the area due to their poor handling of the situation. I hope for a timely resolution at Menard's in Topeka, Kansas. Regards, James D. Borneman
