I attempted to purchase a two-year subscription plan but encountered issues after inputting my Mastercard details. Upon clicking 'confirm order,' the page did not proceed to the confirmation page, displaying an error message instead. Despite ensuring my network connection is stable, the problem persists. I am uncertain if only dollar cards are accepted. I kindly request prompt assistance to resolve this matter. If necessary, I'm open to having the subscription added to my account manually with alternative payment arrangements. Your prompt attention to this is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello,
I am currently seeking a refund from McAfee for a purchase I made yesterday. Upon installation, I discovered that the program was not suitable for my needs. I reached out to Consumer Support this morning to request a refund. They assured me I would receive a callback within half an hour. However, it has been 2 hours now, and I have not received a call. Should I continue to wait, or is there a delay issue on McAfee's end? Your guidance on how to resolve this promptly would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Geoff Brownlow

On November 22nd, £69.99 was debited from my account, and shortly after, I received a notification that my subscription had expired. Then, on December 3rd, a further £29.99 was withdrawn by you. Surprisingly, another notification about my expired subscription followed. Subsequently, on December 9th and 14th, £39.99 was deducted from my bank account on each respective date. All these transactions were made through my card. Now, I've received yet another reminder about my subscription ending. I am frustrated as I only have one computer. Please process my refund promptly. The reference number for all these transactions on my bank statement is 0[redacted]. Thank you.

I installed McAfee Protection on my PC on December 29, [redacted]. However, I keep receiving reminders to renew my subscription, which is frustrating. My order confirmation number is #CS[redacted]. How can I stop these notifications? I am considering deleting the software and requesting a refund. Additionally, the software constantly alerts me that I have 5 viruses. I appreciate a prompt response. Thank you, Brian R.

I keep receiving pop-ups to renew my McAfee, stating it's expired. However, upon checking my McAfee account, it shows the subscription is valid until December [redacted]. I've been trying to contact them without success. Could you please verify the status of my McAfee and let me know why I am getting these misleading pop-ups suggesting my McAfee is expired?

My credit card was charged $[redacted] for McAfee service on 12/31/21 without my authorization. I do not use this service and believe it to be a fraudulent charge. I am reaching out for assistance in canceling this charge and preventing any future unauthorized payments. My credit card company has advised me to contact McAfee directly regarding this issue.

I received a message on my Android phone saying that malware has been detected, infecting other phones, and my service has been discontinued until I resolve it. The message included a suspicious web address to contact, which seems like a fraudulent attempt. On my phone's homepage, the McAfee icon is not centered as usual, and I have difficulty accessing it. Although I can still pull it down from the top, I am not receiving any alerts indicating that my phone is infected.

For a couple of weeks, my desktop screen appeared strange, but I didn't have time to address it. While attempting to download the ZOOM app, I stumbled upon an app called. After struggling for hours to set it up and opting to purchase it for $27.99 instead of the advertised $19.99, I encountered issues with my PC's restart not restoring my preferred desktop. Realizing the unauthorized download of the Chromium extension/virus, I contacted McAfee's live support for assistance. Despite getting disconnected and a lengthy call with an agent, the issue persisted. By the early hours of Saturday, frustration mounted toward Windows 10, McAfee, HEWLETT-PACKARD, etc.

Good afternoon. I would like to express my gratitude to the Technical Adviser in India, SteerajKK, for dedicating nearly 2 hours to resolve the issue of "SCAM ADVICE" displaying on my screen. After struggling for two weeks to find a way to contact McAfee about this issue, I commend his patience and expertise in fixing the problem. It seems unclear how to seek help on your website, as last April, I had to hire a Computer Technician to restore the service without knowing about another background system from McAfee. Since this system was not renewed in January 14, [redacted], I have been bombarded with spam warnings. When contacting customer service, I encountered difficulties in communication and was not provided with the necessary assistance. Given the coverage until January [redacted] and the funds spent since April [redacted], I believe a credit of 9 months is justified. I eagerly await your prompt response to resolve this matter before I escalate it further. Thank you, R. Pettigrew.

Yesterday, I spent an hour and 45 minutes on the phone trying to process my 60-day refund, but unfortunately, I didn't receive the promised callbacks from the agent or her supervisor to confirm the refund. I am frustrated as I didn't receive any contact information to follow up directly. I desperately need the $[redacted].09 refund today with verification, or I will have to escalate this matter to the Better Business Bureau. This has been my 12th attempt since January 21, [redacted], and I am at my wit's end. Customer service has been unhelpful, and the process is overly complicated. Despite the chat agents' claims of attempted callbacks, there are no missed call records on my end. Please address this promptly. Thank you.

Today, on Feb 10, [redacted], I received an email notifying me of an auto-renewal of a McAfee secure protection plan that I did not order. The email listed the order details such as cost, service name, validity, package ID, and order date, but I have no existing McAfee security program. The email was sent from [redacted], which seems to be an invalid address, and the provided phone number is for Hawaii. I am hesitant to call a number from an unverified email. I am concerned and would like McAfee to investigate if this order is legitimate and cancel it if not. - E.R.

I received an email from an unfamiliar address supposedly from McAfee. Even though I don't use McAfee, I recently downloaded Acrobat Reader DC and saw a McAfee offer, which I did not accept. I have some concerns:
- Do I have an expiring McAfee license?
- Has McAfee issued a receipt with number NGHBV695029 for $[redacted]?
- Is McAfee requesting $[redacted].30 from me?
I am unsure if this is a scam and would appreciate a prompt response.
Thank you,

I recently received an email from McAfee regarding a payment confirmation for an autorenewal of a 5-year subscription plan that I did not authorize. I have requested to cancel my account, and I no longer have the computer this program was used on. As a retiree living on a limited income, I cannot afford this unexpected charge. Despite attempting to contact McAfee's Help Desk by phone, I was unable to reach anyone for assistance. I urgently need this account to be terminated, and I do not want to be charged for a product I no longer utilize. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

I am seeking assistance regarding a man who claimed to be a McAfee technician. He offered to fix my phone for $[redacted], installing a firewall without my consent. After realizing he might be a hacker, I contacted a McAfee representative who advised me to visit a physical store. The hacker interfered with my phone, causing concerns for my safety. I reached out to Metro for help, but they redirected me back to McAfee. Feeling frustrated and scared, I discovered the hacker's presence on an app. Sadly, no one seems to take this matter seriously. Please, someone address the issue of these hackers. Contact me at [redacted]

I received an email today notifying me of a $[redacted].89 charge for a service I no longer use. My account was hacked months ago, and I suspect this unauthorized charge is related to the breach. The email included two other recipients, who I believe may have been involved in the hacking: [redacted] and [redacted] I attempted to address the issue by calling [redacted] but found the person I spoke to unhelpful and difficult to understand. The account number linked to the fraudulent charge is no longer valid. I wanted to report my dissatisfaction with the unhelpful agent and inform you about the suspicious recipients of the email. Thank you, S. Wolf.

I purchased a Lenovo computer at Best Buy and unintentionally received a McAfee protection package with an auto-renew feature, which I found deceptive. I had previously acquired a Norton antivirus program, not realizing I also had McAfee on my device, which has now expired. I contested the charge on my debit card, but McAfee is declining the chargeback. I would like to potentially continue using McAfee, but I would like assurance that I will receive the second year without any interruptions if the chargeback remains rejected. The reference number for the order is CS[redacted]. I am questioning why the charge is $[redacted].12 when I have seen prices advertised around $40 to $50 for one year. I feel as though I am being upsold unnecessarily.

While composing and revising a long-overdue holiday letter for printing, double-sided copying, and sending to my siblings and a friend, I encountered three separate notifications from McAfee identifying various viruses. Each message led me to a payment page instead of allowing me to print via my PC cable to the printer.
Since I intended to renew my McAfee subscription, I chose the latest virus detection message and paid the $50+ renewal fee. After receiving confirmation of the software installation, I still faced printing issues. Subsequent messages prompted me to pay an additional $50+ for virus removal.
If each renewal includes the specified extra months of service for the price, I am willing to proceed with both payments. Perhaps I should not have brought up this problem at all.

Good evening, my name is Angela Boardman and I reside in Jacksonville, FL. I attempted to cancel and request a refund tonight for $54.99. When I contacted customer service, I spoke with Alex A., employee number [redacted]. He mentioned the refund couldn't be processed immediately due to pending charges. As a single mom to a 3-year-old autistic child with a feeding tube, waiting a week for a refund seems unreasonable. During these challenging times, waiting for funds impacts me significantly. I kindly ask for assistance in expediting the refund process. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Best Regards, Angela Boardman
