MEC.ca Customer Service Issues

Hello, I purchased four Camper Deluxe Sleep Pad Mats from MEC on June 21, [redacted]. Two of them are defective and need to be replaced. One has an air leak, and the other does not inflate evenly. I do not have the receipt, but I showed the manager at MEC Edmonton my Mastercard statement reflecting the purchase. However, the manager refused to replace them stating it has been over 30 days. It has only been 34 days since the purchase, and this is the first time I used them, discovering the defects. I think it is unfair since MEC only offers a 30-day warranty, unlike Walmart with a 90-day return policy. I am disappointed as I love the MEC air mattresses. I hope MEC can reconsider replacing the defective items as they are MEC products exclusively sold through their store.

Dear MEC Customer Service, I am writing to address an issue with a newt suit that was gifted to my son by my mother. Unfortunately, the zipper broke within a couple of months of use. We have been loyal MEC customers, using your newt suits since he was a walker, and have always appreciated their durability. However, when I tried to make a warranty claim, the clerk refused due to difficulties locating the purchase in my mother's account. Despite the item being clearly from MEC, my claim was denied. I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter further. I can provide photos of the newt suit if needed. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Zara S.
