I've been disappointed with my recent KitchenAid purchases. In the past, I've bought their products because I believed in their quality and how they complemented my kitchen. The four-slice toaster and coffee maker I bought, however, have not met my expectations. The toaster's knobs are not working correctly, making it hard to get the right toast. And the coffee maker's display became illegible after just a few uses. Unfortunately, I did not send in the warranty documents to protect my purchase. My financial situation has changed, and I'm wondering if there's a way to have these items replaced.

I've had several visits from an appliance repairman in Worcester, MA. Initially, the issue was the ice cubes not dispensing from the door, which was fixed. Next, the water dispenser malfunctioned, but was also repaired. However, it stopped working again after the touch panel was replaced. Despite efforts to fix it, the water issue persisted, prompting me to keep a log of when it worked. The repairman eventually found the problem to be related to water pressure coming into the filter, which seems unusual. Despite the water pressure being fine, KitchenAid has not been helpful in resolving this ongoing issue. I am hesitant to incur additional charges for further visits when the problem remains unresolved. It's frustrating dealing with a faulty refrigerator from a reputable brand like KitchenAid, especially when other repairmen are unfamiliar with this specific issue in town. I am seeking accurate information regarding this defective appliance.

I purchased a Kitchenaid refrigerator model KRFF305EWH00 with serial number K[redacted]4 in September [redacted]. The fridge and freezer are no longer cooling properly. After paying $[redacted] for a local repairman to diagnose that the closed system/condenser is not functioning, I contacted Kitchenaid for warranty repair. Despite the warranty covering parts and labor, they wanted to charge $[redacted] for the service call claiming the diagnosis is not part of the warranty. When discussing the issue with an employee, they were condescending and rude, making me uncomfortable to continue using their services.
The Kitchenaid representatives informed me that this company is the only authorized service provider, which explains the poor treatment. I would like to request authorization for a different service company to handle the repair, as I do not trust the current one. Even though the phone representatives were helpful and friendly, they could only find one alternate service provider located over 60 miles away in another state.
Thank you,
D.M.

I bought a KitchenAid Dishwasher over two years ago (Model #W[redacted]3A) that's now not draining properly. Despite my plumber cleaning the filter and finding no clogs, he suspects an issue with the pump. He suggested replacing the dishwasher because fixing the pump would be costly. I’ve heard KitchenAid products are generally reliable, and I hope for a resolution to remain a satisfied customer. Thank you.

I purchased a KitchenAid 5-quart stand mixer at Bed Bath and Beyond just over 3 months ago. Unfortunately, the motor stopped working. The store said they couldn't assist me with it, and I'm in a tough situation. As a retired corrections officer living on social security disability with 3 small children, I had to save up for this mixer. I rely on things I purchase as I don't qualify for assistance. Due to surgeries and implants, doing tasks without the mixer is challenging. I used it daily, so it should've lasted longer. I know I should've bought the warranty, but it wasn't feasible with my budget. I feel lost without it. If there's anything that can be done, please help.

Dear Sir,
I recently received an email regarding an order from your KitchenAid online store, but I did not make this purchase. The billing address listed is not mine, and I do not have an account with your store. It appears my email is being used fraudulently to make purchases from various online stores. I have attempted to contact you by email but fear it may not reach the correct customer service department. The credit card details in the email do not match mine, which I am thankful for. Please investigate this matter further.
Thank you,
Sincerely,
Fred J. L.

Hello,
I need to share a concern I had with KitchenAid. Two weeks ago, I contacted them about my chipping beater attachment, but I did not receive a callback from the manager within the promised 48 hours. Today, I spoke with Evett and requested a free replacement. I explained that despite owning various KitchenAid products for years, the beater attachment from 25 years ago is still in excellent condition while the new one is chipped. I believe the beater is defective and should be replaced at no cost. I have been a loyal customer for a long time and am disappointed with this experience.
Thank you,
R.R.

I bought a Kitchen Aid electric induction double oven range, model KFID 500ESS. When I place the rack in the lower position in the upper oven, there are two metal box-like parts attached to the underside of the rack that prevent it from extending fully. These parts hit the enamel on the upper oven door, and I'm concerned about chipping the enamel. Am I using the rack incorrectly, or do these parts serve a purpose?

I have a refrigerator model KXL2SRYMS2 with a serial number K[redacted]6. The ice maker is not filling with water, although the water dispenser works fine. I recently spent $[redacted].00 on a new double-sided water valve, which I installed behind the refrigerator. The ice maker was working correctly until I moved the fridge across the kitchen, turned off the water supply, and later reconnected it. I live in an area with well water. I have checked and replaced the water line and valve to the fridge. As a retired Master licensed electrician, I have tried troubleshooting the issue myself. I am looking for a diagram showing the water line running through the fridge. A part blew up, and I lost it. I am on a budget and prefer to resolve this on my own. I have noticed some water near the front left corner of the fridge. Any guidance or referral to a service company would be appreciated. Thank you.

I own a KitchenAid Professional [redacted] 6-quart [redacted]-watt mixer. After not using it for a while, I tried to use it recently. It works fine on low speeds 2 and 4, but when I switch to 6 or faster, it makes a loud noise that wasn't there before. I'm hesitant to use speeds 6 and 8 now due to this strange noise. Could it be something inside that dried out from not being used? I really adore my mixer and hope it's not failing on me. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I own a Kitchenaid double oven with the model number KEBS207BSS00 and serial number D[redacted]9. It was overcooking my food, so I bought two new oven thermometers to check its accuracy. When set to [redacted] degrees, the thermometers were showing close to [redacted] degrees. After attempting to use the "TOOLS" feature without success, I contacted the service technician covered by my extended 5-year warranty. The technician adjusted the temperature, but now when set to [redacted], it reaches around [redacted] degrees. The technician claimed it was factory-set, but I find a 35-degree difference unacceptable for baking. I need assistance with this issue to ensure my oven can bake accurately without burning my food. Thank you for your help.
Sincerely, C. Baker

I am disappointed with my KitchenAid purchase. On 9/30/[redacted], I bought a $1,[redacted] dishwasher (KDTM354ESS) and a $[redacted] KitchenAid Heavy Duty garbage disposal (KCDS075T). I spent $[redacted] on installation on 10/14/[redacted].
Recently, I noticed leaking issues and discovered that my 3-year-old dishwasher has a cracked sump pump.
I contacted KitchenAid customer service seeking help with the repair. While I understand that they won't cover the $[redacted] repair labor costs, I am surprised that they wouldn't provide the part given the young age and price of the dishwasher. The leaking has damaged my hardwood floor, and I now need to address that issue as well.
I believe KitchenAid should either reimburse me for the part or send it to me so my repair person can fix the problem promptly.

I am disappointed with my KitchenAid Pro 5 stand mixer. I am unable to mix the wet ingredients properly for a batch of 3 dozen. I tried using the 3-quart bowl accessory, but it was also ineffective as the wet ingredients kept getting stuck in the wire whip. This is my third KitchenAid mixer, and I have had issues with this and other products. I doubt I will purchase another mixer from them. I contacted customer service online during the warranty period regarding the mixing issue, but when I followed up later, they claimed no record of my previous complaint. It is frustrating to have spent so much on an item that does not work as expected.

I purchased a KitchenAid coffee pot from Walmart online over a year ago for over a hundred dollars. Tired of cheap, short-lived coffee pots, I invested in what I thought was the best option. While I love the coffee pot, I noticed early on that the waterlines on the carafe and the pot do not match up. I accepted this discrepancy due to my overall satisfaction with the product. However, I am now dismayed to see dark hairline cracks on the pot that cannot be cleaned. I like to keep the pot on my counter, and its appearance bothers me. Could you please advise if there are any solutions to address this issue? Thank you, Laura M.

All my appliances are KitchenAid, including my pots and pans. My husband recently bought me the new Exact Slice 14-cup food processor for Christmas, but it was a disappointment. It felt cheap and lightweight, sliding all over the counter. I returned it to QVC. If KitchenAid continues making appliances like this, they might lose many customers. I was eyeing the 4qt cooker with the turn attachment, but now I'm uncertain. It wasn't even on sale when I bought it, and at $[redacted].00 or $[redacted].00, it's not worth the price. Now, my kitchen won't have a red KitchenAid food processor to match my other appliances. I'm disappointed in KitchenAid for lowering the quality of their pricey products. I might have to consider other brands now. I've always viewed KitchenAid products as a good investment due to their quality and durability, but this recent experience has left me upset. Thanks for letting me vent. It's really taken away from the joy of my Christmas gift. - Hazel R.

I would like to address a serious concern regarding the long 24-minute hold time when trying to reach customer service. Recently, I purchased a high-priced dishwasher for approximately $[redacted]. However, I discovered post-purchase that the upper tray of the dishwasher is not effective due to the shallow tines that cannot securely hold silverware. This issue impacts the cleaning process. I am inquiring if there is a replacement part available free of charge, and if not, an explanation would be appreciated. I am looking for a solution that actually works for holding silverware in the dishwasher. I am eagerly awaiting a response from customer service that acknowledges and addresses this specific issue directly, rather than generic reassurances about customer satisfaction. This message is conveyed with dissatisfaction due to the poor customer service experience and the product's fault in design and functionality.

I had a new house built in March of [redacted]. After returning the GE appliances and purchasing $12,[redacted].72 worth of new KitchenAid appliances, I have been disappointed with the quality. The $[redacted] double ovens are faulty with a persistent leak, causing damage to the tech board. Even the microwave is underperforming, not able to properly pop popcorn. The refrigerator and stove top have also required repairs. This experience is quite frustrating given my past positive encounters with KitchenAid products. I hope to have someone from KitchenAid with the authority to address these issues reach out to me promptly. Thank you. Gail P. [redacted]

I bought a KICU509XSS in June [redacted] and encountered the F47 error code in the past. Despite restarting, the issue persisted, leading me to contact Kitchenaid. Since our warranty expired, they directed me to Newleaf, who confirmed Kitchenaid's extended warranty on the replacement part. An appointed technician made two repair attempts at our home, replacing the harness once and the power control part twice. It has been nearly 3 months, with Kitchenaid offering only warranty parts due to the extended warranty. I believe a stovetop recall may be necessary, given the recurring F47 code experienced by many. Without a stovetop for almost 3 months, I am disappointed that Kitchenaid does not fully support their product. Speculations mention the booster function on the largest burner causing an overload and resulting in the F47 error code.

I encountered a challenge with my Kitchenaid dishwasher due to a broken wheel on the top rack. Initially, I tried to obtain the part through Amazon, but unfortunately, it was incorrect. Subsequently, I attempted to source it from the Kitchenaid website, but I had trouble as my model number was not recognized. Turning to their live chat at 5:08 pm was similarly unhelpful as they directed me back to the website with a generic response. When I tried to contact them via phone, the hold time far exceeded the estimation - 22 minutes instead of one minute. Finally speaking to a customer service agent, I was met with rudeness. My experience was marred by a challenging website, a frustrating call system, and unpleasant customer service interaction.
