I underwent a procedure on 1/29/[redacted] to have my IUD removed. However, during the process, the midwife could only remove a partial piece as she heard it pop. I scheduled another appointment for 2/23/[redacted] to have the broken piece removed, but upon arrival, I was informed that the equipment was broken. The next available appointment at the clinic is not until April 26. I have an operating room reservation for this procedure, which will cost $[redacted] compared to the $15 fee at the clinic. This situation was not my fault, and I had already taken two days off work for these appointments. The broken piece has been inside me for a month already, and it seems I will have to wait another two months or pay $[redacted] for the OR. I believe I should still be able to use the OR due to the faulty equipment, but I hope not at the full $[redacted] cost. I am looking to speak with someone who can assist me promptly in resolving this issue.
