I, A.S., am in distress as my baggage has been missing for 20 days now. Despite numerous complaints, I have not yet received my belongings. This situation is particularly distressing as I am on a two-year working contract in Saint Lucia, having traveled from India. The lost luggage contains valuable items such as clothes, shoes, medication, utensils, and crucial documents. The absence of my medication is a cause for concern in case of an emergency.
During the journey from India with a layover in Port of Spain, where we were unable to cross immigration and had to spend 16 hours at the airport, two out of five bags are missing. Unfortunately, the old checked-in tags were also absent, complicating the identification process for the lost bag. Despite reporting the issue to the staff in Saint Lucia, no action has been taken.
Although one of the missing bags was located with the assistance of Caribbean Airlines, the other remains unaccounted for. I had booked my flights with KLM and Caribbean, trusting in their services. The responsibility now lies with the airline to locate and return my missing luggage.

During our recent flight from Dar es Salaam to Hannover with a layover in Amsterdam on 17.07.[redacted] on K2 [redacted], we arrived in Hannover without our luggage. Out of the five pieces we checked, only one has been located so far. Despite numerous attempts to inquire with KLM Hannover, we have not received any updates on the remaining bags with the reference numbers [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted]. The lack of professionalism and communication from the responsible company regarding our lost luggage has been disappointing. One of our bags was found and delivered, but the others seem to be missing in transit from Amsterdam to Hannover. If our luggage is not located by Monday, we may have to involve legal assistance. This experience has left us dissatisfied and reluctant to choose KLM in the future.

Dear KLM,
I am writing to inform you that I may have left my Kindle on flight KL864 from Tokyo (NRT) to Amsterdam on July 16. I was seated in the middle seat 20E, right behind my husband, Takaaki Izawa, seated on 19E. His name in Kanji (貴明伊沢) might be on the device if opened. The Kindle has a pink flip cover and contains both English and Japanese books.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We will be returning to AMS airport on August 12 for our flight back. If the Kindle is found, could you please keep it safe until then?

Yesterday, I traveled from Amsterdam to Chicago, USA. Unfortunately, some of my luggage did not arrive at O'Hare International Airport. At the luggage arrival, an official mentioned my name was on the list for luggage expected today (1 Aug [redacted]). However, I was instructed to report my missing bag. When trying to do so on KLM's website, I encountered an issue after completing the process. I am unable to contact them by phone. I provided my Chicago address during online check-in.

My wife and I will be traveling to Turkey (Istanbul) on August 9th, [redacted]. We have obtained our Turkish e-visas and have booked a round trip from Aberdeen to Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Istanbul, Manchester, and back to Aberdeen. I recently entered my details for the KLM email and noticed a flight alert for the Amsterdam leg, mentioning additional document requirements. We hold Nepalese passports and are UK residents with permits. I visited the Aberdeen Airport where a customer service representative reviewed my itinerary and reassured me that there should not be any issues, but suggested contacting KLM for confirmation. I am looking to upgrade my flights from Entebbe to Amsterdam and Amsterdam to Edmonton to business class. The flights were booked for me by an organization, so I cannot make changes through electronic means as the booking doesn't show up in my account.
My current flights are KLM [redacted] on August 20 at 11:50 pm from Entebbe to Amsterdam and KLM [redacted] at 2:35 pm from Amsterdam to Edmonton.

During our flight on August 6, [redacted], from Frankfurt to Bergen via Amsterdam, our baggage went missing. We filed a report, but it hasn't been updated. The latest information we have is that the luggage was in Bodø Airport, as per an email, even though we are back in Germany. The staff at Bodø Airport assured us they would send the suitcase the next day. Today, I was fortunate to reach a lady at Frankfurt Airport by phone. However, she only knew that the suitcase had arrived in Bergen on August 8, [redacted]. We are unable to track our luggage further.

I recently bought KLM business class tickets to Munich through a Consolidator. They claimed the tickets were purchased with mileage points, advising me to say a friend gave them if asked by KLM employees. After reading similar experiences on Trusted Pilot and BBB, I am concerned that KLM might block the tickets. They sent an E Ticket not visible in my KLM account, warning against accessing or altering it. I am told not to expect boarding passes until 48 hours before departure. Can I trust these tickets to not be blocked by KLM?

Complaint about our flight from Nuremberg to Edinburgh on 18/08 - 20/08/[redacted]
Dear Sir or Madam,
On 11/05/[redacted], I booked the following flights for myself and my companion:
18/08/[redacted] KL1888/KL1293
20/08/[redacted] KL1891/KL1290
We are very disappointed with the communication, service, and flight execution.
The flight from Nuremberg on 18/08/[redacted] was delayed by approximately 1.75 hours from 6:10 PM to 7:53 PM. The communication at the airport and in the KLM app was inadequate. There were constant new delay updates but no final departure time. We would have appreciated clear and honest communication, especially since it's incomprehensible that KLM doesn't know the whereabouts of their planes.
When transferring in Schiphol, we were only informed of our gate for the connecting flight to Edinburgh after inquiring on the plane, while information about all other connecting flights was announced.
The changes to the return flight on Sunday caught us completely off guard. We only found out about the rescheduling to 11:00 AM from 5:30 PM on Saturday evening during online check-in. We would have appreciated advance notice or the opportunity for an alternative or proactive discussion with your hotline.
By advancing the flight to KL1280, you deprived us of 8.5 hours of our already very short weekend.
We are very disappointed with KLM and wonder what compensation you will offer us for the problems caused by you.

Yesterday morning, when I flew from Iceland, KLM accidentally lost my bag. Now in a hotel in Italy, I am without essential items like my hormone tablets, pyjamas, fresh clothes, and a hairbrush. It's truly distressing. I reported the problem and received a reference number, but each time I check, I only get a generic response stating they can't assist me. I am eager to learn about the efforts being made to locate my bag. The lost baggage office was crowded yesterday, with 50 people, and I worry there might not be sufficient staff addressing this issue.

I booked my flights on September 9th and my bank account was charged on September 12th. However, I have not received a ticket or booking code. After contacting customer service twice, I was told to wait a few days. They mentioned that within 72 hours from September 12th, I should automatically receive a refund. Unfortunately, this has not occurred.

I have urgent queries about our upcoming KLM flights on October 21, [redacted]. My friend Barbara Wan Ping Yong and I, Kuei Chin Wang, have a flight booked from 11/7 to 11/27 with booking number 2HMTJZ. I purchased a flexible ticket with KLM and needed to reschedule my flight twice due to visa problems. Initially, I successfully changed my flight online after paying the fare difference. When I attempted to change it a second time due to internet issues, I called KLM. After multiple attempts, I reached a call center in Mauritius. Despite the language barrier, I managed to change the date but was charged for two new tickets instead of utilizing the flexibility of my original ticket.
