I recently discovered my Runescape account was muted and subsequently banned while I wasn't online. I am positive it was not me as I have always kept my account information private. The ban for alleged macroing occurred when I was at a clan wars location, a place I rarely visit. I never engage in cheating or using multiple accounts, especially on mobile. I have never participated in offensive behavior on Runescape as it goes against my principles.
I am baffled by the ban on my character Teirblunt for macroing. The last activity I recall was killing hill giants near Varrock on the 5th of this month. I did not log in on the 6th, the day of the ban at 8 pm, as I was occupied and away from my phone for hours around that time.

I tried purchasing a 3-month RuneScape membership and a bond for my account today. When attempting to pay by credit card, the website kept rejecting my payment, citing incorrect information. After a few failed attempts, my credit card was declined and my bank showed pending transactions to Jagex but no membership confirmation. The credit card customer service provided me with payment cancellation codes. Despite this, I still couldn't purchase the membership using a different credit card due to the same error. I have cherished memories of playing RuneScape as a child and still have my original account from those days. I am reaching out to request, if possible, to switch my account to the oldschool version of the game. This version holds sentimental value for me, and I believe it could also entice former players back to the game during this time when many are at home due to the current situation. While creating a new account on the oldschool servers is an option, I have invested significant time and effort into my existing account that I am reluctant to abandon. I am willing to forego the items in my bank and inventory; all I desire is to resume playing with my current stats and quest points, or revert to the stats I had when the game engine transitioned. Repeating quests and rebuilding skills from scratch is something I wish to avoid. My account is a cherished memory, and I hope to actively use it rather than logging in sporadically to prevent deletion.

I've tried giving as much information as possible to Jagex, but they reject it and won't assist me. I have valuable info like emails and PayPal receipts that I want to share with them, but I can't email it to them or submit it all through their online support page. My account seems to have been stolen by hackers. I have put in countless hours into this maxed account with a total level of [redacted]. Recently, during the pandemic when I lost my job, I was looking forward to playing some Runescape in my free time. To my surprise, my account has been permanently banned for RWT trading. I would like to reactivate my old RuneScape account that I haven't used in over 10 years. The account has skill levels around [redacted]. Unfortunately, I started a new account and linked my old account to Facebook, which is causing issues with recovery. When I tried to recover it, I was assigned a new account with no skill levels, even though my old account shows a character with high skills and playtime.

I have an account named Pr0m1se which was initially banned due to my mistake. However, I was given a final chance to prove my commitment to playing the game. I focused on woodcutting but not excessively. Recently, when I received an email about someone attempting to change my password, I promptly changed it. I thought the issue might be with my authenticator, but reinstalling it did not solve the problem. Upon further investigation, I discovered I had been banned. I have not played in a while, possibly logging in for a brief moment once. I am unsure if someone bypassed my Google authenticator. I believe a permanent ban is unwarranted.

While playing oldschool runescape this morning, I unfortunately fell victim to a scam by the player CTRLN1GHADLT. They changed their name multiple times and used an alt account to lure me into a pvp area where they attacked and killed me, taking 150m worth of my in-game possessions. This incident left me feeling distressed, causing physical and emotional reactions, including a panic attack. Although I do not expect to recover my lost items, I am reaching out to request action against this player to prevent them from harming others. I can provide evidence such as screenshots of the encounter and information about their alt account used in the lure. This experience has dampened my enthusiasm for the game, surprising me after years of playing without such issues. The hacker also attempted unauthorized purchases on my account, though they were unsuccessful since I have no payment information saved.
