Kane County Teacher’s Credit Union was mistakenly listed as a lienholder, even though they never held a lien on the vehicle. We submitted a release of lien form from their bank to prove this. Although my son received an email confirming the processing of the form, we never received the actual release. When checking the VIN status, it still shows Kane County Credit Union as a lienholder. We need this matter resolved and a new title issued promptly so my son can submit it to our insurance company to proceed with his claim.
