I placed an order with Ikea online. On 10/3, I was informed that my item was being "picked" and delivery was scheduled for 10/9 (today). However, the delivery did not arrive today. When attempting to track my order, I found no shipping information from the carrier. Moreover, checking the Ikea website for my order status led to an error message. I am writing to express my disappointment with the customer service at Ikea regarding my recent furniture purchase.
During my visit on October 9th, I spent $[redacted] on furniture but encountered difficulties with the unhelpful staff. It was challenging to find assistance, and when I finally did, they were unable to guide me correctly.
Additionally, I never received a confirmation email for my next day delivery order. On September 3, [redacted], I applied for an Ikea Project Credit card in Centennial, Colorado. That same day, I used the card to purchase items to be delivered to my daughter's apartment in Lakewood, Colorado. Unfortunately, when the TaskRabbit came the day after the delivery to assemble the furniture, only two under bed storage drawers were present instead of the expected four. However, weeks later, my daughter received a call from Ikea stating they were 20 minutes away from delivering additional items, which she declined as she no longer needed them. I purchased wardrobes in-store on Sunday, October 18th, and paid for delivery on the 21st - today. Despite staying home for the delivery as planned, we received no communication about the time slot. Trying to contact IKEA by phone led me to a messaging robot, which has been unhelpful. It’s now 9 pm, three hours after the scheduled delivery window, and I still have no information on the status of my order. I also have taskers scheduled for Monday to assemble the wardrobes, adding to my concerns. The lack of communication and the inconvenience have been frustrating and disappointing. Hello, I need to order some lost hardware for an IKEA DAYBED (Brimnes daybed frame with 2 drawers, white, twin bed). Hello, I recently purchased two single wardrobes and a chest of drawers from your Aberdeen store a few weeks ago. I made a purchase on October 16 for two sets of curtains and one hemming tape. I got an order confirmation email with my order number [redacted], a tracking link, and an estimated delivery date of October 28. The payment was charged to my Visa account. On October 22, I received an email stating that the order had been picked and that I would get another email once it leaves the warehouse. However, I haven't received the tracking ID required by FedEx when I attempt to use the tracking link provided. When I check on Ikea's website, it only shows that the order is still in the preparation stage with no additional details available.

Hello, today at 11:35 am in Wednesbury Ikea, I encountered a rude lady wearing a black baseball cap near the food counter while she was stacking wine at the end of the aisle. She gave me instructions without manners and even separated me from my daughter at the counter while I was getting hotdogs. She told my daughter she couldn't stand with me in the queue, despite other ladies and children clearly being in line before us without any comment. My daughter was upset by this lady's behavior, and I was taken aback by her rudeness. I have been a customer here for over 20 years and have never experienced such treatment. Hello, I have been chatting with Robert and Esther in the past days. The issue concerned several PAX wardrobes (height [redacted] cm, depth 60 cm, varying width). My inquiry was about whether the side panels (typically 2 per wardrobe) are available individually as replacements for damages. Due to the information from Robert and Esther, I learned that these parts can be ordered through the spare parts program, but only in an Ikea store, not online. The part number is C004405 Side Panel 580x 2364x 18 mm white and costs €33.39 including home delivery. The ordering program is called ASAP Furniture Components. I have a few more questions, especially since nobody at the Ikea store (Cologne, Butzweilerstr.) was aware of this option before my chats with Robert and Esther:
a) Do I need to provide proof, like receipts from the PAX wardrobe purchase, to access spare parts through this program as a self-payer?
b) Can multiple side panels be ordered, for example, 10 instead of one or two? If so, does the price per piece change?

Order # [redacted]92. I had a terrible experience with IKEA US customer service. I spent over an hour trying to resolve a damaged item (Sanella curtain in olive green) and was disconnected 12 times. Their website doesn't offer a way to contact them other than to cancel the order. I want the damaged item picked up and refunded without any additional cost. The item was delivered to me repackaged and is so wrinkled that even my professional clothes steamer isn't effective.

I am currently encountering difficulty understanding step 21 of the Pax wardrobe assembly instructions provided in manual AA-[redacted]-9. When I contacted customer service on Monday afternoon, my call was placed on hold for an extended period after which the call was disconnected prematurely. Step 21 shows making a pencil mark inside the hole of a metal join, which appears to be on the wall. However, the manual does not specify the use of a drill, only referring to a screw that is not included. Due to picture rails, I anticipate needing long screws to secure the wardrobe to the wall. Could someone clarify if a drill is required for this step as a drill is only illustrated on pages 30 and 31 later in the manual? Your assistance in clarifying these matters would be greatly appreciated.

I received my order, but I am dissatisfied with how it was assembled. The runners for the sliding doors are misaligned and protruding from the wardrobe, creating an unappealing appearance. The two different widths, product numbers [redacted] and [redacted], do not fit correctly. Additionally, the slightly wider runners, possibly product numbers [redacted] and [redacted], are not properly fitting and are protruding at the top and bottom, leading to an unsightly result.

IKEA was supposed to reschedule it for Sunday, but I've been waiting for two hours to speak to someone about it. I really need to reschedule for Sunday and receive proper confirmation this time. I regret to inform you that we only received one out of two boxes for our Kallax unit order, [redacted].[redacted].13, sized 147cm x 147cm, which was delivered yesterday at 3:30 p.m. In addition to our incomplete order, we also received another customer's order for a Pinnig unit, [redacted].[redacted].89. The delivery mistake was realized after the delivery personnel left, and despite the nearby address on the Pinnig box, the items were not exchanged.
Upon contacting customer service, we faced a 45-minute wait and further delay from the representative we spoke with at around 4:45 p.m. Unfortunately, the call abruptly ended at 5 p.m., leaving us unassisted and with significant inconvenience. Subsequent attempts to reach customer service have been unsuccessful, with a recorded message indicating unavailability.
This experience has left us greatly disappointed as we expected better service and attention to detail from your company. Currently, we are left with an incomplete order and no guidance on how to proceed.
