Yesterday, on the 29th of August, [redacted], we rented a van with a lift. The license plate was DW-AW9923. Unfortunately, at 8:50 pm, we couldn't use the van for our move because the battery died. After calling for roadside assistance, we were told a service team would be sent to us. Around 10:15 pm, we received a call from your staff, explaining that it wasn't straightforward and that a technician from the roadside assistance would be involved to further diagnose the issue. He requested authorization for the assistance costs, which your staff couldn't provide immediately as they needed to contact you first. There was a concern that we might be charged for the service, which we declined. We had to wait another 30 minutes. Thankfully, a passerby helped us jump-start the van, allowing us to return it to the Hertz station in Erfurt. However, our move is still incomplete, and I now need to rent another van at my expense. How can you help us with this situation? Why am I, as a customer, required to pay for the roadside assistance? Please call me back at [redacted]40 to discuss this matter further.

I experienced an unfortunate delay in extending my rental due to issues with the Credit Card Company and Hertz. The tow service removed the vehicle with my personal and business items without giving me a chance to clear it out properly as if it was a theft. I secured another Hertz rental to compare experiences. This has happened before during previous extensions, and I want my property back as there is no record of me stealing anything. I demand that the vehicle is returned as it was taken from my control, and I want to inventory my belongings to see what is missing. I have the key fob, so there should be no loss charges. This whole situation needs to be resolved promptly to make things right.

During a recent trip to Texas, I rented a car from your company with a friend. Upon arriving at the airport, I realized I had left my phone in the car. When I went back, I was informed that neither the car nor my phone could be located. This incident occurred at the Hertz Rent-a-Car by Love Field Airport in Texas. The staff mentioned they would attempt to ship my phone back and had contacted FedEx for assistance. However, I have not received any further updates from them in the past three weeks. I am feeling very frustrated and anxious as I rely on my phone for medical purposes and bill payments. Unfortunately, I have been unable to get a response from the Hertz branch at Love Field.

I reserved a rental for today, but the representative from the location called this morning to explain that there was an issue with the Hertz system. They mistakenly offered a Tesla for rent, but the location is within a Lexus dealership that does not have Teslas available. Unfortunately, there are no cars currently available. I urgently need a car for tomorrow morning to attend my aunt's funeral, so missing it is not an option.

I recently joined Siemens Energy and utilized their corporate discount code to sign up for a Hertz Gold membership. However, upon renting a car, I was informed that there was an issue with earning points towards my membership. Despite reaching out to Hertz through email for clarification, the response was not satisfactory. My Hertz customer care case number is #[redacted]8, and the rental reference number is RR#[redacted]23. I am seeking confirmation that my Hertz Gold membership through the Siemens Energy corporate program is properly set up and that I am accumulating the rewards points as expected from both past and future rentals.

At the beginning of the month, I contacted Hertz customer service regarding using my Wells Fargo debit card. A representative named Bryan suggested I buy an American Express card, so I purchased a $[redacted] American Express gift card from Walmart. Unfortunately, Bryan informed me I had the wrong type of card and advised me to get a Walmart money card instead. After purchasing and providing the information for the money card, Bryan still said it was incorrect and requested a new one without personal info. After providing the details of the new card, Bryan promised to email me but never did. He then instructed me to go to South San Francisco to pick up my reserved car. Despite assurances someone would be there over the weekend, I found no one when I arrived. Checking the American Express and money cards, I discovered they were both empty. Despite this, I managed to rent a car with my Wells Fargo debit card with no deposit required. I suspect Bryan of taking the $[redacted] on the cards dishonestly. I hope this issue can be addressed without affecting his job, but measures should be taken to prevent similar incidents with other customers. After renting a car in Munich, Germany, we were informed of existing damage from a prior renter. We documented the car before returning it, and there were no additional damages caused during our usage. However, upon our return to the USA, we were surprised to receive a notification claiming responsibility for new damage. The images provided matched the pre-existing damage. We have evidence through photos that there was no new damage inflicted by us. It's frustrating that this issue arose only after we left the country.

I am a Kenyan citizen who was invited to invest in Hertz car rental with KSH [redacted], promising to earn KSH 84 for 30 days. The profit was supposed to accumulate to KSH [redacted]. However, when I tried to withdraw, I encountered issues. The Hertz application showed my money as "under review." As a result, my investment failed, and the money disappeared without a trace. I am writing this complaint to bring attention to the conmen who are using Hertz car rental as a front to steal from innocent people. I can provide login information to verify my complaint.

Hello, I am looking to rent a vehicle from you soon to travel from Frankfurt Airport to Mannheim and use the vehicle there as well. I reside in Mannheim city center and in order to apply for a resident parking permit, the citizen services office requires a written confirmation from Hertz stating that I rent vehicles whenever I am in Germany and that the license plates will be changing regularly. I rented a Polestar through Klook and picked it up at Hertz, Heathrow. The car didn't have enough charge for my trip to Newcastle Upon Tyne, and I was told there weren't many charging stations in the north. I had a contract for the delivery of a car today at 9:00 at the Gallarate location. Arriving at the designated time, I found it closed. I contacted the manager who is on vacation, and he told me to leave the car in front of the location, but I may end up being charged an extra day. Since I can't leave the car elsewhere for obvious reasons, what should I do?

Hello, I would like to request a full refund for reservation number K[redacted]4C4. Upon arriving at the Herz counter at Vancouver airport, we were unable to collect the car due to difficulties with the card reader reading our credit cards, despite them being standard credit cards previously used in Canada. After attempting with three different cards, we had to resort to taking an Uber. I have tried to cancel the reservation online, but encountered issues completing the process. After renting a Hertz car in Albuquerque, I realized my iPad was missing after leaving on my flight. Upon landing, I used Find My Device to track it to the Albuquerque Car Rental Center. Despite my efforts to contact the location directly, all numbers redirect me to the main office instead. I completed a lost and found form, but the website did not process it.

I was in an accident involving a 17-year-old who rear-ended me. My car has been in the shop for months, and I just received a text this morning that it's finally ready. The rental agency, Hertz, which the insurance company was paying for, didn't contact me, and State Farm did not extend the rental past the 6th of this month. Hertz repossessed the rental without contacting me, and all my belongings, including my ID, debit cards, and $[redacted] in cash, are in the car. They told me to wait 27 days to retrieve my items but didn't provide any other information. My husband's ID and our cash are also in the car. I'm currently homeless due to delays from the housing authority in processing my paperwork. Despite State Farm providing my new phone number to Hertz, they never called regarding the rental. This morning, I received a text that my car was ready, but I'm still left without my belongings.
