I recently received a renewal notice for Women's Health magazine in early September and promptly requested to cancel my subscription by writing it on the notice before returning it. Despite my cancellation request, I then received an invoice for the 1-year subscription fee a month later. After contacting customer service, I was assured that the subscription was canceled and not to worry about the fee. However, I have since received another magazine along with a reminder notice for the same renewal fee that is due soon.
I am seeking confirmation that my subscription has been canceled from the end of my previous subscription period. I kindly request a letter confirming the cancellation to ensure I am not responsible for any fees. Thank you.

As a Canadian subscriber to Harper's Bazaar with account number [redacted], I recently received a renewal invoice from a Canadian address in Markham, Ontario, asking for $35. I promptly paid online with my credit card. However, upon receiving my credit card statement, I noticed that the charged amount had been converted to US dollars, resulting in a significant increase in price. It is crucial to clarify the currency on the invoice to avoid any confusion and frustration among Canadian subscribers like myself. This oversight can be misleading and seems unfair. I have reached out to both my credit card company and Hearst Magazines customer service to address this issue. I urge the accounts receivable department to ensure that Canadian invoices clearly state the currency to prevent any further discrepancies.

I recently entered a sweepstakes and accidentally ordered a magazine. When trying to access customer service, I am redirected to a site that is unavailable. I contacted the food network magazine customer service who also encountered the same issue. They mentioned reporting the problem to their IT department. I tried accessing the site from different browsers, but the problem persists. Customer service informed me that they can only handle magazine subscriptions and cannot assist further, but assured me that IT is aware of the issue. I have been experiencing this problem for over three weeks now. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could address and resolve this issue promptly.

I recently entered a contest and unexpectedly got subscribed to Prevention magazine without my consent. I visited their website to cancel, but I couldn't find my account number in any email. I don't want this subscription and find their process frustrating. I will not subscribe to Hearst Publications again. I want this subscription to Prevention cancelled immediately. It's essential for companies to make it simple to resolve such issues by phone or email. I feel the company's actions are unethical, and I am considering reporting this to the BBB and FTC, as I have done with other companies in the past.

Hello, I recently subscribed to Elle, Bazarre, and Marie Claire fashion magazines without realizing it was an American site. I am in Australia, and the cost has been more than I expected due to the $10 deal and $5 deal for Marie Claire. The funds have already been debited from my account. I am requesting a refund and immediate cancellation of the subscription. I am feeling very stressed about this situation. I believe there should have been a checkout confirmation amount for me to review before processing the payment, but this was not provided. Please update me on when I can expect the refund. Thank you for your prompt assistance in this matter.
Sincerely,
M. Leyden

I have been a subscriber of Redbook magazine for over three decades. Starting reading in my 30s and now am disappointed to learn it'll be discontinued. Customer service transferred me to Oprah magazine for the rest of my subscription, but why didn't the magazine notify me? I moved on October 18 after 40 years in Madison Heights. Even after updating my address, I haven't received the last Redbook issue. Customer service couldn't help, stating no more magazines will be sent to the new address, leaving me without my final issue. This handling is not acceptable after being a loyal subscriber. Can something be done to ensure I receive the last magazine? My new address is [redacted] Addington Dr, Commerce Township, MI [redacted].

I recently entered a sweepstakes and was surprised to find out I was automatically signed up for a subscription to Men's Health magazine by Hearst. I am very upset about this and demand that my subscription be canceled immediately. Despite contacting Men's Health customer service, they stated they couldn't cancel it for 48 hours, which seems unreasonable considering how quickly they were able to sign me up. Please cancel my subscription right away. Thank you. - Jan O. from Woodstock, IL.

I subscribed to Redbook magazine with account number [redacted]. I attempted to cancel my subscription online a couple of weeks ago and was informed that $5.35 would be refunded to my account. However, the refund did not show up. After contacting customer service, I was initially told they couldn't assist me, but eventually, a representative said they would process the refund, which would take 1 to 2 billing cycles. This extended timeline seems unreasonable since I usually receive refunds within 3 to 4 days. Kindly resolve this matter promptly and ensure that the $5.35 is refunded. Failure to do so will result in me discontinuing my subscription to all Hearst magazines, including Good Housekeeping, which I am currently receiving.

I attempted to cancel my subscriptions to Elle, Marie Claire, and Cosmopolitan, but the representatives only halted the mailings and directed me to seek a refund from a third-party agency with no valid email contact. After sending a postal request to a questionable voicemail address, which could be fictitious, I encountered rude customer service reps much younger than me. Unable to make changes online and with an outdated email on file, I am insisting on refunds for all Hearst publications, including Woman's Day, to which I never subscribed. The lack of transparency and discourtesy has soured me on Hearst magazines. Despite my efforts to update my address and marketing preferences, I was informed that my subscriptions were outsourced, leaving me uncomfortable and disinclined to agree to the terms of service. Prior to disputing this legally and escalating the matter, I demand a refund promptly. If the significance of customers is lost on Hearst's customer service team, there seems to be a human resources issue within the corporation that is not my responsibility as a subscriber.

Subject: Unauthorized Charges Dispute
Hello, I'm contacting you regarding a recent charge of $19.97 on my debit card that I did not authorize. I previously subscribed to Men's Health for my son, an inmate in various facilities in New York. However, there have been significant issues with address transfers during his transfers between facilities, resulting in missed deliveries.
I kindly request a full refund for the unauthorized charge on my card ending in [redacted], dated 11/29/[redacted], under the description "TME*XN6K81*MENSHEAL." Please process the refund promptly within 48 hours to resolve this matter efficiently. Thank you for your prompt attention to this issue.

I did not order any Hearst magazines. Somehow, you have my information wrong. I returned the bills marked "I did not order, do not want, do not send me any magazines." Now, I received an O magazine which I do not want. I have informed you about this. I am not accepting any unordered magazines. Stop sending them, stop billing me. I did not order them and do not want them. Please cancel, unsubscribe, and remove my contact information. I have never been interested in your magazines. Please do not send anything, no bills or magazines. Leave me alone and do not contact me about magazines. Thank you.

Subject: Account Suspension Notification from Hearst Magazines
Dear Karen Zimmerman,
I am contacting you regarding your Hearst Magazines subscription account, which has been suspended. You can click the link provided to make a payment and reactivate your account.
I am reaching out as I have not received the Prevention magazine that I am being billed for. I have tried to cancel the Prevention magazine through email and phone as I have already started receiving RedBook. I find it unacceptable that my subscription has been suspended for a magazine I have paid for, but never received.
I have informed Hearst Magazines in advance that I do not want to receive the Prevention magazine, and I would appreciate it if this matter could be addressed promptly with confirmation via email. I have always been a subscriber to your magazines, but the treatment I am receiving now is disappointing.
Kindly resolve this issue promptly and send me an email confirmation once it is taken care of. Your prompt attention to this matter is appreciated.
Sincerely,

I previously agreed to renew my HGTV magazine subscription for myself and added two additional subscriptions as gifts, enclosing a $21 check. Despite this, I continue to receive payment reminders for the $21. I even marked "Bill Me" on one of your reminders, hoping you would locate my check in the meantime. However, you persist in sending letters claiming I owe $21 for the three subscriptions. I later sent a bank statement showing you cashed check #[redacted] for $21. Is your company this disorganized? I am in the process of moving and cannot keep corresponding with you. I've been a loyal subscriber since the beginning, but I am frustrated now and will accept the loss of $21. I have decided to discontinue my subscription and will not support your magazine in the future.

I participated in an HGTV contest in Nov. [redacted], making sure not to order their magazine since it was stated as not necessary for entry. Despite this, I was billed for a subscription I didn't request. After mailing back to dispute this, I had to call to cancel the unwanted subscription. In Feb [redacted], I joined another contest and received a bill for a magazine subscription I never agreed to. Again, I had to call to cancel what I hadn't ordered. I spoke with Lil (#[redacted]) who couldn't find my account but confirmed the [redacted] cancellation. Requesting a Supervisor, I was put on hold for 8 minutes, then connected to Sam (#[redacted]). After explaining everything, he assured me it would be resolved. When I requested information on the governing Federal Agency and Hearst's phone number, Sam only provided an email address, leaving me frustrated with this situation.

Dear Hearst Magazines,
I am currently experiencing issues with an unordered HGTV Magazine subscription, which is causing distress. This situation is not exclusive to me, as several individuals nationwide have raised similar concerns online. Although I participated in the dream house sweepstakes, I did not subscribe to the magazine. The email link provided does not offer direct contact information, requiring an account number that I do not possess due to not making any orders. Kindly cease sending invoices or requesting payment of $15, as I have lodged a complaint with the FTC Consumer Protection agency. I recommend addressing this promptly to avoid further escalation.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
