I logged into my account to pay my taxes in full. I accidentally added expert support for $[redacted] when all I wanted was to pay off my deluxe version due to stocks. After asking for help, the representative requested a lot of personal information to remove it, which seemed odd. Following her instructions, I re-logged in and lost all my saved work on my stocks. I am extremely frustrated that a simple removal caused such a big issue. I wish I had been warned that it would delete everything as I would have just paid the extra amount. Now, all my hard work is gone, and I don't want to start over due to the time and effort it took. I need a resolution as soon as possible, as I am beyond upset about the situation.

Microsoft and Xbox charged my card without permission, deducting hundreds of dollars from my stimulus check intended for bills while I am out of work. Previously, they only had approval for an eight-dollar charge months ago. When I called to address the unauthorized charges, the representative disconnected the call. After filing a dispute, I received a new card, and additional funds were taken, but the claim was rejected. This money was crucial for my family's expenses. I hope to resolve this matter promptly.

I recently had a negative experience at the H&R Block office in Dixie Valley Station. The staff member, Owen, was rude to me because I was not wearing a mask due to health reasons. I believe that as a long-time customer, I should not be treated poorly for a valid health condition. The lack of information and training at the office regarding accommodations for people with health issues was disappointing. Despite this, a kind woman tried to help mediate the situation.
I am dissatisfied with the service I received, especially after waiting two weeks for my taxes. According to CDC guidelines, individuals with breathing issues are exempt from wearing masks. As per the American Disabilities Act, reasonable accommodations should be provided. Personally, I have various health issues that affect my ability to wear a mask comfortably.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as no customer should feel belittled or mistreated.

I e-filed my [redacted] taxes using H&R Block online service. I was under the impression there would only be a small fee, likely less than $50. However, when my refund was deposited into my bank account, H&R Block deducted over $[redacted], which is almost a third of my refund. The website stated the service was free, and since I didn't choose audit protection or a refund anticipation loan, I'm confused about the charges. My tax return was straightforward with just one W-2 and unemployment benefits. The numbers on my receipt don't match what I received; it shows $[redacted], but my actual refund was $[redacted]. Also, there were charges for self-employment services on the receipt that I didn't buy. I'm unsure why these charges are there. My order number is 94b7c7d6ge444435.

I have encountered a perplexing situation regarding my taxes. I initially filed my taxes independently and received my return. Subsequently, my employer mistakenly issued another W2 after my filing. Following that, they issued a correction form to rectify this error. Although this doesn't change my taxes, my HR Department advised me to file this correction, ensuring reimbursement from my employer.
Navigating through the complexity of filing this correction myself, I scheduled an appointment with H&R Block for assistance. However, the location I intended to visit was unexpectedly closed. Despite being directed to upload my documents, I found it challenging to address the matter without speaking to someone directly. In an attempt to seek clarity, I visited a different H&R Block location without an appointment a week later, only to be informed that I needed one. This led to a rushed meeting with Diana L. Trageser, who seemed dismissive and unhelpful.
After multiple explanations of my situation, Diana suggested doing nothing and confronting any IRS inquiries later with documentation. Uncomfortable with this approach, I insisted on filing a correction, to which she seemed unsure if this was feasible due to software limitations.
I complied with her suggestion to wait, leaving my details with her. However, following up a few days later, I encountered further confusion and disorganization within H&R Block. This has left me feeling extremely frustrated and disappointed with the level of service received. All I desire is prompt, competent assistance in resolving this correction, regardless of any associated costs.

I submitted my non-filer taxes on March 3, [redacted], in Michigan at H&R Block in Watervliet. The IRS informed me on April 14, that I was eligible for two missing stimulus payments, but they had issues with the account information for the payments. I was supposed to receive the payments on my Emerald card from H&R Block. I paid H&R Block upfront for their services, but now the IRS says it will take 8 to 10 weeks to resolve this. I am not satisfied with this situation and request a refund as per the [redacted] percent satisfaction guarantee. The office that helped me file my taxes is not assisting me with this matter.

I signed up for your full-service package and was assigned an agent. I requested an extension to file my taxes due to time constraints, and I have reached out multiple times via email with inquiries about the process. Despite my requests for a phone call, the agent has not been responsive or provided the information I need. I paid $99 to review the extension filing without receiving proper assistance. Today is the deadline, and I am disappointed by the lack of communication and support. It is frustrating to pay for services and not receive the attention and response that I expected from my assigned agent.

I am looking to upgrade my program to the Premium version. I had a window pop up, but accidentally closed it and can't find it anymore.
I managed to settle a charged off credit card debt for less than the full amount owed, but I never received a [redacted]-C form for the forgiven amount. I contacted the bank, but they don't have a record of it, and I can't recall the exact forgiven amount. Should I file my taxes as usual and amend later if the [redacted]-C arrives?
I've been trying to reach customer support without success. The chat feature isn't working, and the phone line isn't providing any estimated wait times.

I bought Taxcut [redacted] Deluxe with State. After finishing the Federal part, I couldn't access the State section without paying $39.95. I followed the prompts to purchase State but kept getting asked to pay again. I had to buy the State program separately from H&R Block's website, download, and install it manually. This allowed Taxcut to recognize the State module, and I could complete my return. I am requesting a refund for the two $39.95 charges on my credit card. The activation/confirmation codes for the purchases are: H&R Block [redacted] Mac Deluxe Federal + State [redacted], H&R Block [redacted] Massachusetts - Mac software [redacted] (repurchased within Taxcut), H&R Block [redacted] Massachusetts - Mac [redacted] (manual purchase). My phone number is [redacted].

I used premium DIY software for my [redacted] tax return and initially agreed to have it reviewed by a pro, Elizabeth Heronemus. However, after speaking with her, I decided to file electronically on my own. It has been about six to seven days since this interaction. She assured me I would regain access to my return in about 15 minutes, but as of today, May 18, I still can't sign in to access it. Despite multiple attempts, I have been unable to reach Ms. Heronemus and the other individuals I contacted for help have not been able to assist me. Due to this issue, I have missed the deadline to file my taxes. I simply need to log in online and submit my return electronically. Thank you.
Best,

I used H&R Block to file for my [redacted] stimulus checks. Initially, I informed the employee that I had received the first stimulus payment by mail in check form and only needed to file for the second and third stimulus checks with one dependent. Despite this, the employee mistakenly filed for my first and second stimulus checks. The IRS sent my second payment to my previous address where my first check was mailed, and it was returned to them as I have moved since then. Although the IRS approved my refund on March 5th, the $[redacted] I was supposed to receive on my Emerald Card hasn't shown up yet. I'm concerned about potential issues with the IRS as I clearly instructed the employee to only file for my second and third stimulus checks, not the first one I had already received a year ago.

Hello,
I have been a loyal user of your service for many years. This year, I upgraded to the "deluxe" package and then decided to add the "expert help" option, increasing the price from $49.99 to $[redacted].99. Unfortunately, I encountered issues accessing the online chat support as there were over 99 people ahead of me in the queue for several hours. As a result, I never got to use the service and ended up mailing my state taxes without assistance. I am requesting a partial refund of $60, which is the difference between the deluxe package and the upgraded expert help. The email linked to this transaction is [redacted] I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.

On February 3, [redacted], I visited H&R Block at the El Monte Shopping Center located at [redacted] Peck Rd, El Monte, CA [redacted] to seek a refund. The tax preparer, Kikumi Itahara, whose telephone number is [redacted], assisted me with filing my [redacted]. During the process, he requested my account and routing numbers, which I didn't have on hand. I called my bank to provide the information, which he entered into the system. Despite paying him $69.00 in cash and being told my stimulus check would go directly to my bank, I never received the $1,[redacted].00 refund. After discovering that the account numbers provided were incorrect, I reached out to the IRS for assistance. Following a series of fruitless attempts and unhelpful responses from H&R Block representatives, I now find myself seeking a resolution through this platform. My name is Bertha Martinez, and I have all the necessary documentation pertaining to this issue.

I am being penalized for underpaying my [redacted] taxes. I had my taxes done at HR, paid the full amount, but still underpaid by around $[redacted] according to the IRS. I didn't receive any notification and mistook IRS calls for spam. Now the IRS is garnishing $[redacted] from my Employer, with more than half being penalties. I thought I was protected and don't understand why the calculations were wrong. Who should I reach out to regarding this issue? Additionally, when I tried to get an extension this year, there were delays. I waited over an hour in the office for my appointment, as others walked in ahead. I had to file an official complaint, especially after waiting 20 minutes for the bathroom key.

Subject: Issue with Recent Tax Filing on H & R Block
Hello,
I have been a loyal user of H & R Block for several years and have usually found it very beneficial. During my recent tax filing, I used the Premium program for federal and state filing, costing $[redacted].99. Despite trying to apply discount codes for [redacted], I was unable to find a place to input them during the purchase. Later, I discovered that the federal program was available for $48.72 and the state program for $19.95 on H & R Block's website, which I have screenshots of.
I kindly request a refund of the $46.32 difference between what I paid ($[redacted].99) and the actual cost ($68.67) of the programs.
Thank you for your swift attention to this matter.
Best regards,
David W.

I provided nanny and babysitting services as a self-employed individual in shorter work periods. A regular client recently requested me to work full-time, which I accepted. However, upon agreeing to the full-time position, she avoided completing necessary tax forms. After a month, she began deducting FICA tax without completing any financial paperwork. In early March, she terminated my services, citing financial constraints and a decision to opt for daycare instead.
Observing her behavior during my employment, I am skeptical about her ability to handle taxes accurately. I do not want any tax-related issues due to improper handling. Despite a deduction of $[redacted].99, I am concerned about this matter. I have her payment details, contact information, and address. How should I proceed in this situation?

I filed my taxes on March 16th and was supposed to be contacted within 2 days. However, after a week, I discovered they had my number recorded incorrectly. Then, Alec called and said my SIN number was invalid and asked if I wanted my paperwork back, as he didn't know how to fix it. After a week and a half of contacting CRA and giving H&R authorization, the issue was resolved. I submitted tax returns for 4 years but was told they couldn't return my [redacted] papers. I realized I had been charged $[redacted] for 3 years and requested my [redacted] documents back. Alec mentioned they were in a stack of boxes and later said they accidentally shredded them, requiring me to request replacements. When I checked my DCBank for H&R, my middle name was in the last name field. Support told me not to worry when I sought help, making me feel unheard. I am frustrated with the lack of respect and accountability in their customer service. How can I address this effectively?

I was fined $[redacted] by California for not indicating healthcare coverage on my [redacted] Form 540NR. While I had coverage and would have confirmed it, the question wasn't included in your California section. An equivalent question was in the IRS part which I answered. It seems there was a gap in transferring the Federal response to the CA return or asking a similar query for California. I expect H&R Block to address this issue and prevent it in the future. As a loyal user, I had no issues until now.

I spoke with an H&R Block representative yesterday and was informed that my issue was escalated, but I have not received a call back yet. Neither my tax professional nor I can access my tax return that was submitted online on 05/14/[redacted]. My extension expires on June 10th, and time is running out for my return to be submitted to the IRS. There seems to be a technical problem with your site that is preventing us from accessing my returns. Despite your site indicating that my tax professional is reviewing the return, she has not been able to view it. I am notifying you that if this issue is not corrected promptly and my return is not filed on time, I will pursue legal action for any damages and stress caused. Legal action will be initiated if the matter is not resolved by June 1, [redacted].
