I submitted my [redacted] taxes with H&R Block in January [redacted] in Huntsville, Alabama. Unfortunately, the bank account number for direct deposit was not entered correctly, causing delays in receiving both my tax refund and stimulus checks. Despite updating my address with H&R Block multiple times via fax, my $[redacted] stimulus check was still not received. I contacted H&R Block for assistance, but after several frustrating calls, my address was still not updated, and I was told to fill out a check replacement form that was never emailed to me as promised. I am seeking resolution urgently and request my check be sent promptly to my current address in Mississippi: Pamela E. 18 County Road [redacted] Iuka, MS [redacted] I can be reached at [redacted] or [redacted]. I expect immediate action on this matter. Thank you for your attention to this issue. Sincerely, Pamela E.

During my recent visit to the South Yarmouth, MA H&R Block office, I noticed that four employees were not wearing their masks properly or at all. As a contact tracer myself, I understand the importance of following safety protocols, especially with COVID-19 still a concern. It's concerning to see employees not taking proper precautions, especially since customers like myself come in for services, potentially exposing them to unnecessary risks. Although my tax preparer did wear their mask correctly, the behavior of other staff members was unsettling. I hope that all employees will prioritize the safety of their customers in the future to prevent any potential spread of the virus.

I have encountered a software issue when trying to file as Head of Household. The IRS Tax assistant confirmed my eligibility, but I am facing a problem with HRBlock software requiring a child to be living with me, which is incorrect. I attempted online help but was unable to reach an agent. Despite two phone calls to customer service, both got disconnected after being told someone would assist me.

I am encountering issues with The Installer. I acquired a digital download version by inputting my activation code. Upon attempting to launch the downloaded file (HRBlock_Launcher.exe), a window opens with only the icon and title displayed (H&R Block [redacted]), lacking any buttons, text, or boxes. No error code is provided, and the application remains unresponsive. Initially, using physical discs in previous years presented no problems, making this digital download experience novel. Troubleshooting steps attempted: - Restarting - Running as Administrator - Restarting and Running as Administrator - Re-downloading - Re-downloading and relocating to a new directory - Performing a Hard-Restart - Closing all other applications and Running as Administrator - Downloading from an alternate browser

I purchased H&R Block [redacted] Federal and State software with an activation key but am unable to download and install it on multiple computers. After successfully installing it on one computer, I encountered issues trying to install it on a second one. Each time I tried double-clicking HRBlock_Launcher, the download window appeared blank and froze, with no progress. Despite clicking "Retry Download" and attempting to start the download again, the problem persisted. I expected this version with an activation key to allow multiple installations, but it seems identical to the online version. I require technical support to resolve this installation problem. Thank you, K.S. Chen

I am seeking clarification on why my tax return was rejected, despite submitting all correct information. I have made multiple calls to address this matter but have received conflicting responses without a clear explanation for the rejection. After spending over 2 hours on the phone last night and facing another 60-minute wait today, I am unable to continue holding due to work commitments. I paid the filing fee and am requesting a refund as the issue remains unresolved and the return continues to be rejected. Various reasons were given for the rejection, such as my AGI or PIN, an update problem, or an incorrect email address, which seems unlikely as I received an email confirming the rejection. The lack of a satisfactory explanation and resolution has left me frustrated and dissatisfied.

Good morning, I filed my [redacted] return in February and received an email confirming its acceptance on Feb 11. It has been over 21 days since the IRS accepted it, and I haven't received any updates despite numerous attempts to contact both the IRS and H&R Block. I'm relying on this return to support my struggling family and need reassurance that everything is in order. Please reach out to me at your earliest convenience. Thank you for your time. Regards, Krystal A.

I am seeking a refund for H&R Block [redacted] Premium & Business totaling $84.75, including sales tax of $4.80. We initially purchased the software in November [redacted] but encountered issues with updating it. Despite multiple attempts, the software remained unusable, leading us to purchase it again, only to face the same issue. To resolve this, we had to reset our computer to a previous date and utilize the initial purchase. Uncertain if the problem stemmed from a Windows update or a software glitch, we did not use the second purchase. Regrettably, we were unable to reach customer service due to long wait times exceeding an hour.

Hello, I recently filed my [redacted] taxes and received my federal refund via direct deposit. However, the amount I received was different from what I expected after the fees were deducted. Despite reaching out to your online agents for assistance, I was unable to receive help. Furthermore, my conversation was abruptly ended by the agent after asking another question. I paid a significant amount in fees, including post-filing customer service, and now I feel overlooked and disregarded. Even though $[redacted] to $[redacted] may not seem like a big difference to some, it significantly impacts my family due to health issues. I am concerned about where the discrepancy in my refund amount went and would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you. - T. Davis, last four: [redacted], married filing separately. Original refund amount before fees: $[redacted].

My tax return was rejected, and I'm still waiting for a call regarding the issue. I was informed there is a website problem causing the delay in filing my taxes. I used the website to file for the [redacted] return. Despite trying to e-file multiple times, I keep seeing the same error message. It seems the rejection has been ongoing for 8 weeks due to a problem with the website. The support team is working on resolving the issue, and I apologize for the inconvenience it has caused.

My name is Troy A. from Missouri. I had my taxes prepared at an H&R Block branch in Branson, Missouri. Despite having a tax refund of $1,[redacted], I was denied a tax refund advance on my Emerald card. I am eligible for the advance as I am due to receive $[redacted] or more. I faced financial difficulties and lost my truck due to payment issues because of this situation. I paid $[redacted] for the services, with federal taxes of $[redacted] and a $1,[redacted] stimulus included in my filing. I have tried to seek assistance from the tax preparers to no avail. I expressed my concerns about losing my truck, but I felt my pleas were ignored. I am left with no choice but to involve a lawyer and potentially take legal action. I urgently need this money to prevent further financial repercussions. I hope someone can help promptly.

I completed my daughter's [redacted] tax return on February 27th. I was billed $23.99 on my credit card for the additional service that handles free Federal and State tax returns. After receiving an email with the details, I found out her Federal return was Filed: SJZ2R2ZT, Accepted: ZFGRUHRG, and State return was Filed: DPKH7XQV, Rejected: V9KBAF5F. Following the provided instructions, I logged in but couldn't see the completed [redacted] taxes. When I click on previous years, the [redacted] taxes are visible. Under "ACCOUNT," it states they can't retrieve my profile info currently. After multiple calls, Customer Service confirmed they could see the return but advised me to contact the online department at 1-[redacted]. Upon calling, I waited for an hour before someone answered and promptly disconnected the call as I explained the issue. I am seeking assistance to resolve this situation promptly to complete my daughter's taxes. Thank you.

I have used H&R Block for the past three years, but this year has been a terrible experience. After paying around $79 for assistance, I encountered issues with receiving a call back for help and accessing my account. When I tried to log in with my user ID, [redacted], the system said my password was invalid. Then, when I provided my name, social insurance number, and date of birth, they claimed my file couldn't be found and suggested creating a new one. I'm concerned this might be a tactic by H&R Block to get more money from me. I would appreciate it if someone could clarify this situation. Thank you.

I have been purchasing H&R Block's software CDs for 15 years without any issues. However, for [redacted], I am finding it difficult to purchase the CD without first downloading the software online. I have attempted to create an account and access my account, but have been unsuccessful. Opting to "create an account later" has resulted in my computer screen being stuck on the "saving" process for over an hour, not allowing me to proceed further. Despite multiple frustrating phone calls to H&R Block, I have been unable to speak with anyone for assistance. I have spent numerous hours trying to purchase my trusted software online, but I am considering buying a different software option that is more functional. Speaking with a live representative would likely help resolve these issues efficiently.

My experience with H&R Block has been extremely disappointing. I filed on 2/6 and was accepted by the IRS on 2/10, but I have yet to receive my refund. Despite the IRS delays, I am frustrated with H&R Block's lack of communication and poor customer service. I signed up for refund text alerts and should qualify for the refund tracker, but I have not received any useful information. Each time I call, I encounter rude customer service representatives, one of whom even made me cry. I was given conflicting information about the text alerts, and when I called back the next day, I was treated disrespectfully by another agent. I have multiple unresolved claims and have been waiting for someone to contact me for days without any response. Despite being a loyal customer for nine years, I feel ignored and mistreated. It is disheartening to receive such poor service after paying for their assistance. I am frustrated with the run-around I continue to receive without any resolution in sight.

Hello. This morning, I received a text notifying me that the balance of my green card, which should have been $[redacted], is now at 0. The last transaction I made with the card was an American Airlines purchase totaling over $[redacted] back in October. Since then, I have not used the card, keeping it stored away with other infrequently used debit/credit cards. I suspect the card may have been stolen or the number copied, as I have noticed small random deductions over the months that I initially thought were maintenance fees. I would greatly appreciate your assistance in investigating this matter.

I have installed the [redacted] Deluxe federal & state software on an external drive. Whenever I open the program, I receive a prompt for an update from 1/20/21. I follow through with the update, but the same prompt appears each time I run the program. Unfortunately, I no longer have the original download program from my purchase in 11/20. Upon visiting your website, I discovered that the program needs to be installed on the C drive to resolve this issue. If I had the installation program, I would simply reinstall it on the C drive to avoid this continual update prompt.

I submitted my taxes about 4 weeks ago at the downtown Stuart, FL branch. Janice assisted me and mentioned I would get a refund of over $[redacted], which would be sent by mail. I tried contacting the office several times for the exact amount but was denied over the phone. Despite providing my information for verification, they couldn't disclose the details or have Janice call me. After multiple attempts and even changing my contact details online with H&R Block, my refund seemed to have disappeared. After much back and forth, I was informed my refund was never sent due to needing my signature. This news came as a shock after waiting for 4 weeks with no prior mention of a signature required. The delay and lack of communication have made receiving the money crucial for me.

I am using H&R Block software for our joint tax return, and I encountered an issue. After comparing filing jointly with married filing separately, I am facing two challenges: (1) I am unable to access the comparison again in the program, and I need guidance on how to retrieve it. (2) The comparison displayed my W2 income under my name only, while income from joint sources like stocks, bank interest, and partnership K-1 forms all appeared under my wife's column. I am unsure if this redistribution of income is accurate.

Regarding case number [redacted]8, I had scheduled an appointment at the Cool Springs office for 3/12/[redacted] and received a confirmation text. However, upon double-checking, I discovered they do not offer face-to-face appointments there. After speaking to Jennifer at the Carothers Blvd office in Brentwood/Franklin Tennessee, I was informed they do not handle taxes. When I visited, Ernest was in the office and mentioned a possible appointment in several weeks at the Carothers office, which was not convenient for me. He even threatened to involve the police if I didn’t leave the office. I would appreciate speaking to a live representative at H&R Block. Finally, I was able to secure an appointment on the 12th at the Murfreesboro location, despite it being 15 miles away. I believe a deduction in the cost is warranted given the inconvenience. Thank you. - S.D.
