My name is Kayla Stewart. My mom and I visited your office in Lexington County, South Carolina seeking assistance because we were confused about something. I was asked for a verification code, which was a new requirement for me. It ended up costing me a little over $[redacted]. To keep it brief, I got injured at work, was terminated, filed for worker's compensation, and sued my employer. After settling, I was surprised by additional expenses for tax purposes related to the money I received. There was also an issue with the code provided. I had to contact the IRS, and my mom had to print the documents from her online tax software for me to mail. This happened on July 15, [redacted]. As a single mother, I am extremely upset about this. I have misplaced my H&R Block emerald debit card and urgently need to report it. However, attempting to contact customer service for assistance with deactivating the card has been frustrating. I have been trying to contact someone regarding my stimulus deposit that was sent to H&R Block instead of my bank account. Tony Bowen, H&R Block's Chief Financial Officer, mentioned that they have tools and experts available to help customers. However, no one is answering calls, not even an automated response from [redacted]. I even tried H&R Block's Main Office number in Kansas City, MO. It seems Tony Bowen's statement was untrue. I also learned that if I don't receive my money, I may need to apply it to this year's taxes, which is frustrating. I demand my money to be deposited into my account promptly, or I will visit in person to ensure it happens. Companies should not disregard their customers' needs, especially when it involves family and finances. It's time to answer calls and correct this mistake.

I downloaded the software from hrblock.com on 12/16/20. I updated my 64-bit system with 4MB RAM to the latest Windows 10 and Trend Micro to the latest version before downloading and installing the software. The Premium and Business versions started correctly initially. However, on 1/4/21, the Business version crashed with an exception error related to accessing the file "data." I tried troubleshooting by testing older versions dating back to [redacted], but only the [redacted] version and earlier worked. I attempted various solutions like running as administrator, checking permissions, scanning for disk errors, Safe Mode, and reinstalling, but the issue persisted. Interestingly, when I loaded the software on a 32-bit system with the previous version of Windows 10, it worked fine. I suspect the problem may be linked to issues with the "data" file as renaming the directory for Business [redacted] allowed the program to work. However, the previous year's software still has the same problem. Also, there was an issue when attempting to import [redacted] data into the working [redacted] version.

HR Block mistakenly sent my stimulus check to my old bank account which has a negative balance. The bank automatically used the funds to cover the debt. I contacted the bank, and they advised having HR Block initiate a reverse transfer to get the money to me. Unfortunately, I have been unable to reach a live person using the phone numbers provided. My Emerald Card has been locked due to 7 transactions within 24 hours. The customer service hotline disconnected on me and Axos Bank referred me to an unhelpful overseas company with poor English and rude behavior. This has been the worst customer service I've experienced, leading me to reconsider doing my taxes with H&R Block. I'm appalled by the lack of assistance provided, making me question the choice of banking partner. It's concerning to entrust my money to a bank that offers no support. The service feels inadequate for a reputable company like H&R Block. I hope this feedback reaches the upper management for reconsideration of banking partners to improve customer experience.

Last night, I attempted to use my Emerald Card, which had been working fine all day. However, it was declined despite having over $[redacted] in my account. I initially thought it might be a daily limit issue, but my card continues to be declined today, and I urgently need access to my funds as a single mother of four. Strangely, when I checked my Emerald Card online, it showed a balance of $0.00 and a different card number. I never requested a new card, and my card ending in [redacted] was functioning perfectly. If a new card was issued, why is my balance now $0.00? I confirmed my balance of $[redacted].42 at an ATM this morning at 10:43am on 1/7/21, and I'm concerned about not being able to access my funds.

I bought HR Block Deluxe with State tax software on Tuesday, but I encountered an error when trying to download the installation executable. Despite receiving the email with activation and unlock codes, I haven't been able to install the software. My credit card was charged, but I haven't received the product. On January 4th, the second stimulus was deposited into my old Emerald Card account. Since the bank has changed, I received a new card and account number. I have been trying to resolve this issue, but I still have not received the stimulus check as of the 9th. Despite attempts to contact customer service, I have been disconnected several times. I understand that this may not impact you directly, but I am in a desperate situation with only $15 and two daughters to care for. This has been a very difficult week, and I'm reaching out in hopes of finding a solution to access the money I urgently need.

I visited the H&R Block office in Greenville, MS to get a replacement Emerald Card since my old one was deactivated. Despite going to the office four times in three days, they couldn't issue me a new card. They assured me they were entering my details correctly, but it's not reflecting on their system. I've been a long-time user of my Emerald card, using it for direct deposit and bill payments. Recently, both my card and my boyfriend's, who is a joint holder, were unexpectedly deactivated by HR Block. Despite being promised a quick resolution and transfer of $[redacted].60 to my new card within hours, the deposit did not come through as assured. After contacting customer service several times and being provided with a case number (RES-[redacted]7), I was left waiting for a resolution. Despite assurances from representatives like Lucky and Nick, my funds have still not been deposited. I am yet to receive a call back from the escalation department as promised. On January 7th, I had a consultation at an oral surgeon's office, which was covered by my insurance. I decided to proceed with full sedation oral surgery on February 3rd, which cost $1,[redacted]. I visited an H&R Block office to have my taxes filed. During the process, the first agent faced issues and another agent took over, both making mistakes in the paperwork. I had to consult a third agent who refiled my taxes. Despite having confirmation numbers for the refunds from [redacted] and [redacted], a whole year has passed, and I still haven't received them. I have been contacting the IRS monthly without success. I opted for Peace of Mind insurance from H&R Block, counting on their help to track my refund, as stated in the policy. However, they have not assisted me in ensuring I receive my refund. The insurance clearly indicates H&R Block's responsibility if a mistake is made, yet no progress has been made.

I have tried using the "Where's My Refund" tool at least five times, but have not received any response. I also attempted to call four different phone numbers multiple times, but only got a recorded message with no option to speak with a live person. I received less than $20 as a direct deposit after filing, which I noted was my interest for three months. I used tax software purchased at a local store to fill out my taxes myself. I recently purchased a new computer and I'm looking to transfer my H&R Block Tax Software from [redacted] to [redacted]. Unfortunately, I am missing the activation code for [redacted]. I do have the registration/order confirmation number C5Z7-JJC7 and I require the Missouri and Nebraska state programs for [redacted]. Conversely, I have the activation and unlock codes for [redacted], along with the receipt of purchase. I also require the Missouri and Nebraska state programs for [redacted]. For [redacted], I have the activation code but not the unlock code. I have the receipt of purchase and an included backup CD. I need the [redacted] Missouri and Nebraska state programs as well. The same situation applies to [redacted] and [redacted], where I have the activation code but not the unlock code. Additionally, for [redacted], I have order information but lack the receipt or last four digits of the charged card. I require the Missouri state programs for both years. For [redacted] and [redacted], I have the activation code and unlock code, along with the receipt of purchase. For the past two years, there has been an ongoing issue with the last two digits of my account number being omitted from my direct deposit information with the IRS. Initially, I thought it was a simple mistake, but it caused a significant delay in my tax return processing. Despite explaining the problem in detail and providing evidence from the IRS website last year, the same error occurred again this year. Hello, Last year, my wife and I filed our taxes with Christine Dagmar Krüger at the HRblock office in Davis, CA [redacted]. Unfortunately, we are having trouble reaching her now. She helped us with our last tax return before we moved to Germany. Our employment at UC Davis ended on December 31, [redacted], but due to a payment delay, we received our final salary in January [redacted]. Also, I received my retirement savings in spring [redacted]. Christine advised us to file a tax return for [redacted] in the US, even though we didn't earn any income in the US directly. I've tried to contact Christine through hrblock.com and email, but with no success. I also attempted to schedule a video appointment with another HRBlock agent through my hrblock.com account, but I couldn't proceed when clicking on "Make Appointment." We want to file our taxes with HRBlock again. However, we are unsure about the required documents since we don't have a W2 or any forms for [redacted]. We only have our December [redacted] pay slips, deposited into our US bank accounts in January [redacted], and our [redacted] tax documents from UC Davis. I have been using tax software from Kiplinger, now known as Tax Cut, for several years. I recently got a new computer and need to transfer H&R Block software onto it. I have tax data from [redacted] to [redacted] on my old computer but only want to move data from [redacted] to [redacted]. I have activation codes for most years, some unlock codes, but I'm missing the last 4 digits of the credit card used for a few years. Additionally, I need state programs for Missouri for all years, Nebraska for [redacted] to [redacted], and Massachusetts for [redacted].
