I recently received a message from my tenant regarding an urgent electrical issue at [redacted] N Ponce De Leon Blvd, St Augustine [redacted]. This location houses one of our three stores, and we have requested an emergency disconnect to replace a panel jaw. However, despite having the permit, parts, and an electrician on-site, we have been informed that it will take 7 days to resolve. The FPL representative mentioned that it would be a quick job for him, but the delay is putting us in a difficult position as the fish market has two holidays' worth of frozen products at risk. We are seeking assistance for a speedier resolution. My electrical service is underground up to the pole. Several months ago, workers from the underground service team installed a box with electrical connections leading to the pole. Despite being told on multiple occasions that FPL would complete the final connection within a week or two, I am unsure if the underground service connection has been finalized. I have attempted to contact customer service but have only been greeted with a recording indicating that speaking to a human is not an available option.

I just wanted to express my appreciation. The power outage in the neighborhood this morning led me to contact FPL. I discovered that a tree branch caused damage to a transformer. I received timely updates and, to my surprise, my power was restored more than an hour earlier than estimated. It's easy for people to complain, but not many take the time to acknowledge exceptional service. I want to thank FPL for the excellent job they did in Miramar today. As a customer, I truly appreciate it!

We recently moved into two new homes next to each other that were completed in January. Both houses are experiencing brownouts and flickering lights when turning on appliances or the AC. The builder believes it could be a problem with the neutral connection, possibly between the houses and the pole. We have been advised to reach out to FPL for further inspection outdoors, considering both homes are facing similar issues.

Due to being scammed online for my car and $1,[redacted], I am currently behind on bills. I have managed to secure a $70 check from Still Point Mission for Friday morning, following the shut-off notice. I have contacted Florida Light and Power several times but have not been successful in paying my overdue bill. They claim my account number is inaccessible. I'm concerned as I cannot seem to resolve this issue with my Social Security number, address, and zip code. I'm worried about the possibility of my account being terminated. I utilize a United Unicard that is linked to Medicare/Medicaid. The funds, totaling $[redacted].00, are allocated at the beginning of each month and do not carry over if unused. Despite making the payment on the 5th due to a holiday, it will not appear in my account for another 10 business days, potentially causing it to be past due by the 19th. I recently enrolled in the Over 62 program, but I am uncertain if it will be applicable for this month. With a credit score nearing [redacted], I prefer to avoid situations like this. Although the payment has been submitted, the delay in posting concerns me. Any suggestions on how to address this issue would be appreciated.

My electricity was disconnected. I made a payment of $[redacted] yesterday through my bank, but it takes two days to process, which is beyond my control. Being 69 and disabled, the lack of heating may pose serious health risks. When seeking help, I was advised to wait until experiencing heat stroke, call an ambulance, go to the hospital, and initiate legal action. I'm uncertain why there is such malice and negativity from the service provider, but it appears to be the norm. Unfortunately, it seems legal action may be the only way forward in resolving this situation.

I have resided at [redacted] Cheeseburger Drive since April 19, [redacted]. Initially, my bills ranged from $[redacted] to $[redacted] with a surge protector provided by FPL. However, in the past year, the bill increased to $[redacted] for the last two months, even after canceling the surge protector agreement which used to cost approximately $16 monthly. This represents a 90% increase over 26 months, even though our current home consumes less power than our previous residence up north, where the monthly electric bill was $[redacted] to $[redacted]. I tried to address these concerns through an online complaint last year due to the difficulty in reaching customer service agents, as the website claims. The current lack of communication options is frustrating, contributing to a considerable rise in stress when dealing with your company's customer service.

I am disappointed by the mess left in my backyard and on the side of my property with branches scattered throughout. Despite having no trees on my property, the branches belong to my neighbors behind me. I contacted the company on Monday, and they assured me they would send someone on Tuesday morning to clean it up. Sadly, the mess remains, preventing my dog from accessing the yard comfortably. I had explicitly asked the workers not to encroach on my property and to shut the gates after their work, but they neglected to do so. It is frustrating as I deliberately avoid having trees to sidestep such maintenance issues. I kindly request the prompt removal of these branches. Thank you.

I am facing a few issues with my power bills from FPL. Firstly, my bill has doubled to $[redacted] this month, even though I am on the monthly plan that is typically $[redacted]. My account ends in #[redacted]. Secondly, I requested the power for the house next door to be disconnected as it is being demolished, and the power was cut off. My neighbor lost power, and FPL requested access to my yard late at night to fix the issue. They installed wires without informing me, which now pose a risk to my dog and garden. Despite contacting them, I have yet to receive a response. I am frustrated by the lack of communication and the inconvenience of having the wires running through my property when the box is not even there. I believe FPL should address this matter promptly and more responsibly to prevent further issues.
