I've been informed that the prescription is waiting for approval from my insurance, causing a delay in getting my medication. This recurring issue of lengthy authorization delays each month is frustrating. It involves multiple calls between my physician and pharmacy post-refill request, leading to delays in receiving my medication beyond the 30-day mark. Despite being four days overdue for my medication, I can't seem to get any clear answers. The controlled substance limits how early I can request a refill within the 30-day period, complicating the situation further.
