I have a booking inquiry. I need to reserve one ticket for my 15-year-old from Delhi to Toronto. Additionally, I require two round-trip tickets for adults from Toronto to Delhi. All passengers will return on the same flight. Expedia won't let me book a ticket for my 15-year-old alone, even though two adults and one child will be on the same flight. I reserved a two-night stay on August 4 and 5, [redacted], at Town and Country Motel in Parry Sound, Ontario through Expedia. Although I received confirmation, I have not received the email with my itinerary as indicated below:
"You're all set. Your accommodation is booked and everyone's expecting you. Fri Aug 4 to Sunday Aug 6
We've emailed your full itinerary (# [redacted][redacted]) to [redacted]"

We stayed at the Best Western Plus in Edmonton on April 12th and 13th under my husband's name, Glen Kildaw. We are still waiting for the receipt to be sent to his email address at [redacted] Our confirmation number is [redacted]9 and ID is [redacted][redacted]. We were disappointed that the price was higher than the hotel's own rates. Also, it was frustrating that there was no place to have supper at the hotel. We wish we had known that before booking. However, we were at least satisfied with the breakfast provided. Thanks.

I am still awaiting a response from Expedia. After waiting for months to hear back from WestJet, they directed me to contact Expedia. Our departure from Vegas was scheduled for June 26, [redacted], but we couldn't leave until June 28. When we arrived, we were provided two hotel options at 1:30 in the morning. The first hotel's agent was rude, not allowing us to check in until 3 pm the next day, and denying us the use of their phone or bathroom. Stranded in the middle of nowhere with two other seniors, we eventually found lodging at a Travel Lodge after 2:30 am. The whole situation was very distressing and unnecessary.

I hope you are well. I am writing to express my concerns about my recent travel experience. I was flying from Christchurch to Auckland and then onwards to Vancouver. Upon checking in at Christchurch Airport, the agent requested my passport. Unfortunately, during the scanning process, my passport got damaged. Despite my inquiry about its condition, I was assured I could still use it for the journey. However, upon reaching Auckland and trying to board my Vancouver flight, I was prevented from doing so due to the damaged passport. Consequently, I missed my flight.
The staff at Auckland Airport assisted me in securing a new ticket back to Christchurch. I am disappointed by the inconvenience and financial loss caused by the mishandling of my passport by Air New Zealand staff.

I would like to discuss the issue of misrepresenting currency on the Expedia Canada website. When booking, the prices shown in Canadian dollars were actually in USD and then converted into CAD. Additionally, there are CAD charges for cancellations, leading to confusion and a sense of deception. This practice is misleading and amounts to theft. On April 30, I booked a flight from Toronto Pearson to Bogota for June 11. I received an electronic ticket receipt confirming the booking. The payment was made using my own credit card, which showed the charge immediately. However, upon checking today, I discovered that the flight had been canceled and a refund issued. The refund did not reflect in my credit card statement. Air Canada informed me that the refund was processed to EXPEDIA. I made a reservation at the Comfort Suites in Goderich. I thought I called the hotel directly, booked the room at 8 pm, received a confirmation number, but then decided to cancel at 9:45 pm on the same night. I spoke to a staff member who confirmed the cancellation. However, I was recently charged for the room on my credit card. When I contacted the hotel, they mentioned the reservation was made through Expedia, a platform I don't usually use. They advised me to contact Expedia to process my refund by having them reach out to the hotel. Unfortunately, I can't reach a person at Expedia and am required to provide an itinerary number, which I never received as I did not get a confirmation email from Expedia.

I made a booking for a 7-night Mediterranean Cruise from Cannes, France, with flights from Toronto to Nice and a one-night hotel stay for my family from April 29 to May 8. This trip was a gift for my daughter's university graduation. I booked it on February 5, [redacted], and got travel protection. Despite confirming with Expedia and MSC Cruise, the cruise was canceled upon my arrival in Cannes on April 30. During my two-week trip along the West Coast of America, I utilized Expedia for booking my accommodations around seven or eight times. Overall, everything was as expected and in line with the advertisements and photos, with one notable exception. Unfortunately, my stay at Sea Breeze Inn And Cottages in Pacific Grove, Itinerary #[redacted][redacted], priced at $[redacted].38 for three nights, was highly disappointing and marred our holiday experience. Despite a decent location, the room was outdated and run-down, with dirty walls and poor landscaping. The lack of sound isolation made it difficult to rest due to noise from neighboring rooms. After just one night, we decided to switch to another hotel for a better experience. However, the hotel's refusal to refund the remaining two nights left a negative impression. I attempted to contact Expedia for assistance regarding this issue during my travels but faced delays. I kindly request a refund for the two nights and reconsideration of this hotel's rating, given the discrepancy between its actual condition and the online reviews/photos.

I reserved seats for my husband and daughter on a flight to London, England using Expedia. The confirmation number is 3JEBGM and the itinerary number is [redacted][redacted]. However, they were put on standby at the airport causing a lot of stress. Eventually, they did manage to board the plane. I believe this issue was due to seats not being booked properly. On May 15, I booked a box van from expedia.ca for $[redacted].24 with rental agency Routes. The rental terms in the email confirmation (itinerary # [redacted][redacted]) stated a cube truck or equivalent, automatic transmission, unlimited mileage, and cancel anytime without penalty. Despite this, upon arrival at [redacted] Orlando Dr. Mississauga on May 19, a Routes agent mentioned a $0.20 per km mileage charge, significantly increasing the rental cost. Consequently, we opted to cancel the reservation and are now seeking a refund of $[redacted].24.
Throughout all interactions with Routes and Expedia staff, professionalism and courtesy were maintained.

I recently checked into Hampton Inn & Suites Toronto Airport and I am puzzled by my invoice. I tried to cancel my reservation at the Best Western in Kelowna, BC for May 25 under my name, Diane L., but as I booked through Expedia, they were unable to assist me. I made a reservation for 2 nights at the New [redacted] hotel in Vancouver Burnaby from May 27th to May 29th. Unfortunately, my credit card was declined, and the hotel notified me at 6:06 AM EDT. I promptly updated my credit card information on Expedia at 9 AM EDT, but the hotel canceled my booking at 3:35 PM Pacific time, claiming they did not receive the updated details. I am unsure when Expedia relayed my new credit card information to the hotel.

Yesterday, I experienced a distressing situation while traveling with TAP Portugal flight to Lisbon. An hour into the journey, we were informed about an aircraft issue, leading to our return to Toronto due to weight constraints. We spent 5 hours in the air burning fuel before landing.
