Contacting Eastlink customer service has become incredibly challenging lately. The new phone number, [redacted], seems to connect you to a call center in India, resulting in extensive wait times. I have spent around 4 to 5 hours waiting to speak with a representative over the past 3 days. I am attempting to address issues on my recent statement following a two-year Maestro promotion. Typically, after waiting for 5 to 10 minutes, I am informed that there is a 45-minute wait to speak with someone. On one occasion, I opted for a callback but received it after a long delay, missing the call as I was away when it came through.

I recently sold my home and requested to cancel my service on September 28, [redacted]. However, the closing was moved up to August 24th. I have been attempting to reach customer support both online and over the phone without any success. I have been on hold since 9:07 a.m. today, and yesterday, I was on hold for well over an hour. It seems there may be only one person handling the phones. With that being said, I need to request the cancellation of my service at 23 LaChance Place, Elliot Lake, Ontario. My account number is 8[redacted] 5[redacted]. Can someone please assist me with this matter?
