I purchased a DeWalt combo kit that was missing the two bags it was supposed to come with. I suspect they were either removed by someone at Home Depot or stolen. Though I don't urgently need the bags, they would have been useful for storing my tools. Home Depot advised me to return the kit immediately, but after a 12-hour work shift, I only opened it the next day to charge the batteries. I am a loyal customer who visits the store regularly, and I am disappointed by their response. I cherish my DeWalt tools and this incident is unsettling. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to address this concern.

I own a Dewalt Sawzall model dcs381, purchased in November [redacted]. I recently contacted customer service regarding an issue with the tool. After a frustrating 24-minute call, I encountered a rude representative who did not address my concerns appropriately. The problem lies with a magnetic strip inside the tool which came loose, damaging the internal components. I requested a replacement due to this defect. The representative suggested I visit a store in Indianapolis or Tennessee for evaluation. Seeking better assistance, I asked to speak to a supervisor after 27 minutes on the call. Unfortunately, the call ended abruptly after I was placed on hold. My name is Travis Griffith from Southern Indiana.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding an issue with a Dewalt Impact and Hammer Drill Kit I bought in May of last year. The chuck on my impact driver wobbles severely, making it difficult to drive certain screws. This is the second Dewalt impact driver I have purchased in three years. As a carpenter, I rely on my tools for work and always maintain them carefully. Today, while installing cabinets, I struggled to drive screws due to the wobbling, causing damage to the product. I am inquiring about the return or exchange policy as I need reliable tools to do my job. I hope for a replacement to be arranged. If not, I may consider switching to Milwaukee, although I have invested over $[redacted] in Dewalt cordless tools. Quality and reliability are crucial to me, and I cannot continue replacing tools frequently. The kit I bought is the DCK296P2. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you.

Hello, I am a student at Timberlake High School and I seek assistance with an issue regarding a recent purchase. I'm 16 years old and work part-time for a local construction company. I saved up for two weeks to buy a Dewalt grease gun, as I already own Dewalt tools, but the store did not have the model I wanted, only an older version. I ended up purchasing a Lincoln grease gun based on their recommendation. Unfortunately, less than a month later, the gun is broken and the battery won't charge. I contacted Lincoln, but they were unhelpful. My economics teacher suggested reaching out to seek a possible solution. I hope for your guidance in this matter. Thank you. Sincerely, A Young Client from Timberlake High School

As a seasoned general contractor who has relied on DeWalt cordless tools for over two decades, I recently acquired the DCS920 trimmer. Regrettably, I am dissatisfied with its counterclockwise rotation, which poses challenges for right-handed users like myself as it directs debris towards me. Tipping the head to redirect the debris hampers visibility while cutting. The design oversight baffles me; is the engineering department predominantly left-handed? Moreover, the trimmer's short shield radius exacerbates debris being thrown towards the user. The tool's subpar edging capability, compounded by the counterclockwise rotation, is another drawback. Are there plans to address these issues soon? I await your insights on any potential benefits of the counterclockwise rotation before considering eBay as a solution. Disheartened, Howard N. from Lumberton, TX.

I bought a FlexVolt 60V 6Ah battery pack on 8/8/17 at Home Depot in Shorewood, Illinois using cash. I have the receipt, but the pack won't charge. When I tried to return it at the store, the associate refused to accept it, advising me to contact DeWalt instead. I'm unsure of my rights under the warranty and if my case and unit meet the criteria. The battery date information is [[redacted]] 32-47-3-9.

I purchased a DCW210 cordless sander in June [redacted]. When I inserted the 20V battery, which was difficult to slide in and out, the sander would start but then immediately stop working. This persisted despite receiving a replacement sander from customer service. I am frustrated with the recurring issue and am considering switching to a different brand if this problem is not resolved effectively.

I purchased a Dewalt DC [redacted] Heavy Duty XRP 1/2" Drill/Driver with 18V XRP Batteries some years ago. Recently, the batteries stopped charging, and when I went to buy new ones, they were priced at $[redacted].00 each. I find this price extremely expensive considering I paid over $[redacted] for the drill originally. The warranty on the batteries is disappointing as they died in less than two years, despite taking good care of them. I assumed that buying a Dewalt product would mean quality and durability, but I have been let down. Unfortunately, I no longer have the receipt, so I hope you can take my word for it. My husband and I rely on this tool, especially since he is disabled and we have a fixed income as I am retired. I would appreciate it if you could respond to my concerns. Thank you for your attention.

Hello, I recently purchased a Dewalt jumper box model # DXAEJ14 for my business but was disappointed with its performance. Despite its [redacted] amps, it was unable to jump-start even a basic pickup truck. I tried to return it to Home Depot, but they declined as it's been over ninety days since the purchase and I cannot locate the receipt. The unit has a one-year warranty, and I am looking for assistance to get a replacement if Dewalt has fixed the issue. I am struggling to find the date code on the unit and am unsure if it's inside. Any guidance on how to proceed would be helpful. Thank you, C.G.

I have always been a loyal customer and invested a significant amount of money over the years in your tools. However, the last two major purchases I made were of poor quality, and I am extremely disappointed. Given the significant amount I spend on tools, I expect reliability. Consequently, I am seriously considering switching to Kobalt or Makita for my future purchases. Sincerely, a dissatisfied customer.

I purchased a new DCKTS425D1M1 on December 13, [redacted], for Christmas. When I opened it this Friday morning to charge the batteries for work, I noticed that the 4 amp 20V battery and charger were missing from the kit. I contacted the dealer where I made the purchase, and although the item was in a sealed box, they advised me to get in touch with you. Additionally, I noticed that the box latch is not closing tightly on one side due to the plastic part that the latch catches onto is breaking off. Could you please assist me with this issue? Sincerely, Steven

I recently received a Dewalt DWX726 rolling miter saw stand as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately, after assembling it, I encountered an issue when trying to collapse the stand. Upon researching online, I discovered that this is a common problem with this particular model. I reached out to Dewalt Customer Service, and they advised me to return the saw. However, I am hesitant to do so as it would be difficult for me to disassemble and return it, fearing I might receive a stand in worse condition. I kindly request for a Dewalt Engineer to reach out to me to discuss a repair solution. Being a disabled 65-year-old, I would greatly appreciate your assistance. Thank you, - Kevin M.

I purchased a planer from Lowes back in September [redacted], and it has suddenly stopped working on me. On Saturday, 4-18-20, it struggled to pull materials through, leaving metal shavings on the wood, and the motor even started smoking. Despite turning it off and unplugging it, the issue recurred a few days later with the motor smoking again. I never exceeded its capabilities, as I can usually gauge equipment limits. Attempts to seek warranty coverage from Dewalt were redirected to Lowes due to the timeline. The serial number is [redacted]. With the current COVID-19 situation, I am unsure how to arrange repairs. I urgently need this tool for a project. Can someone help facilitate the process through Lowes or Dewalt? My contact number is [redacted].

I purchased two DBC [redacted] 45-49 1-2 20-volt batteries last year. One battery was replaced and now the other battery is malfunctioning. Despite recharging it, the fuel light does not illuminate while charging. I have tried various methods but the battery remains faulty. The person who replaced the first one sent me a new matching battery that didn't function either. After contacting them, I received an 8Ah battery two weeks ago, but I haven't tested it yet. I am in need of a replacement for the defective battery.

I purchased two industrial compressors from Lowes in Ventura, CA on 7/25/[redacted], along with a three-year extended protection plan. In March [redacted], I experienced a magnetic starter failure with the first compressor, which I repaired myself with a new part from DeWalt. In May [redacted], the second compressor also had the same issue. When I reached out to Lowes for service, they refused to honor the protection plan, claiming it did not cover "commercial" usage despite selling the units for industrial use at my plant. Lowes decided to cancel the extended protection plan contract and refunded the charges to me. When I visited the store, they directed me to contact DeWalt for warranty repairs, stating that DeWalt covered the first two years. Despite trying to reach DeWalt's warranty telephone number without success, I am now attempting to resolve the issue through a chat.

I'm reaching out regarding a brushless hammer drill/impact driver combo kit I purchased, which was supposed to include one smaller and one larger battery, but instead came with two smaller batteries. I attempted to contact customer service today at 8:30 am, but after waiting until 2 pm for a return call as promised by the automated system, I was unable to reach anyone. When trying to submit a request on the dewalt.com website, I encountered an error message, making it impossible to proceed. Could you please address this issue? Moreover, I would appreciate guidance on how to obtain the correct battery for my kit since the store where I bought it has run out of stock.

I am experiencing issues with several of my tools from Dewalt. The battery no longer charges, some drills are not working, while others are worn out and have trouble holding bits. I am especially disappointed with the 10 battery nailers, some of which are nearly new but no longer functional. Over the past four years, I've invested close to $40,[redacted] in Dewalt tools. I am not seeking refunds for the worn-out items, but I am disappointed with the performance of some drills and nailers.

I am disappointed with the Bluetooth earphones I purchased from your company. I own various DeWalt products, including a smartphone case, a 12" compound flexvolt, a 20V chainsaw, a Bluetooth radio, a stackable stereo, a jigsaw, a sawzall, a blower, a tripod light, a framing gun, a nailer, a Brad nailer, a heat gun, a car charger, a circular saw, an impact drill, a fan, car charger, earbuds, and a 5-port adapter. However, the $59 earphones do not meet the same standard as my other DeWalt products. The Bluetooth connection constantly drops out, making them useless. As a contractor, I cannot have my phone clipped to me at all times just to listen to music. I would like to request a refund for this purchase due to the poor performance of the earphones.

Last autumn, I bought a self-leveling [redacted] Line/Cross Line laser DW [redacted] with a laser reader DW0743R (Serial Number: [redacted]). I recently attempted to use it for outdoor projects but encountered an issue. The laser functions well indoors, but the outdoor laser reader (DW0743R) does not seem to recognize the laser line at any distance. I am unsure if this reader is compatible with my line level or if it is defective. The dealer who ordered it for me has gone out of business. What steps should I take to address this situation?

Subject: Issue with Dewalt XR 5 AH Battery I own multiple DeWalt 18 and 20 volt tools along with a few batteries. One of my batteries has been experiencing issues for about a year now, failing to hold a full charge and providing limited usage. Recently, it has been overheating during use, posing a safety risk, and thus, I have discontinued using it. Home Depot advised me to contact DeWalt customer service for a replacement. I am eager to continue supporting the DeWalt brand, as I have a range of their tools and batteries. I reached out to customer service via email last week but have not received a response yet. The problematic battery is a DeWalt 20v max XR 5 AH from [redacted], with the code 36-49-1-8 N330105. Kindly guide me on how I can proceed with the replacement process.
