My name is Sam, and I have been frequenting the store in Delano, MN for about a month now. Every time I visit, I am impressed by how clean the place is and the excellent service provided. As a 69-year-old businessman who has experience with hiring and firing employees, I can recognize a good employee when I see one. A young man named Nick stands out at this store, and after my visits, I am convinced that he is a valuable asset. I am familiar with the Peter's Principle, but I believe this young man has a bright future ahead of him. It would be wonderful if he received the acknowledgment he truly deserves. Please make sure to retain him as an employee, as he is truly exceptional. Thank you for the positive experiences in your establishment. They are rare to come by in your line of business. Sam Z. Winsted, MN.

My spouse and I waited around 10 minutes for our two blizzards. When we reached the service window, the server skipped turning my blizzard upside down as it wasn't thick enough. However, she turned my wife's blizzard over, and both treats were more like milkshakes. I went back inside and spoke to Jeremiah K, explaining that we ordered blizzards, not milkshakes. Although he offered replacements, we declined in favor of a refund due to time constraints. We are regulars at this DQ, visiting at least twice a week, and this level of service is disappointing. Unfortunately, I do not know the server's name since it was on the receipt Jeremiah took. The incident occurred at the Georgetown, Ky., location on [redacted] Finley Dr., on 3-12-19 at 7:40 pm.

Hello, I recently dined with my dad at the Dairy Queen in Spencer, IN. Unfortunately, we experienced rude staff, high food prices, and very dirty restrooms and restaurant. There was a lack of hand soap, functioning air dryers, and even paper towels. This poses a clear health violation! I believe it is crucial for a Customer Service Representative to address these issues with the owner and manager of this Dairy Queen. I am eager to speak with a Customer Service Rep regarding the unfriendly service and unsanitary conditions at this location. Regrettably, I have decided not to patronize the Dairy Queen in Spencer, Indiana in the future. If possible, please contact me at [redacted]. Thank you, Jason W.

Hello, I recently visited the Dairy Queen on S. Keystones Ave by the Wal-Mart. I ordered a foot-long Coney dog with specific toppings, but it was plain. Additionally, my French fries were incorrect, and I did not receive the Oreo Blizzard I ordered. I am tired and hungry and would appreciate if this issue could be resolved promptly and correctly. I prefer not to wait for a manager to call me back; I just want to enjoy my meal and head to bed. Thank you for your assistance. - S.Cox

It's currently 5:38, and I ordered a cheese and ketchup only burger sandwich with chicken fingers minus fries and a drink. Unfortunately, the burger was extremely overcooked, dried out, barely warm, and didn't resemble real beef at all. The chicken fingers were also lukewarm. I won't be returning to this store on the east side of Delaware, Ohio. I spent over $13 but received poor quality food and didn't even get a receipt. I left feeling disappointed and hungry, as it was not worth the high price I paid for such subpar food.

I had a distressing experience at the Dairy Queen on [redacted] W E 7th St in Tifton, GA, on 06/11/[redacted] at 6:55 pm. The service I encountered was extremely unprofessional and racist. I felt targeted for being white, as the girl taking my order openly mocked me for how my voice sounded. She made disrespectful comments about me to her coworker, referring to me as "That girl talks too fuc**** white." Despite her behavior, I tried to proceed with my order, but she continued to laugh and ask me to repeat myself unnecessarily. Even at the window, the unkind remarks didn't stop, with another employee saying, "There's the white girl with the annoying voice." The lack of respect and racism continued as they delayed serving me and joked about giving me free items. The individual responsible for this behavior was a young black girl with braces. It was a disappointing and hurtful encounter that I never expected when all I wanted to do was order my food and leave.

I wanted to share my recent experience at DQ in Mayfield, Hutto, TX. Today, during my visit with my family, I noticed that half of the inside employees had their face masks below their noses. It's crucial to wear masks properly, covering both the nose and mouth, especially when working in a food establishment. Even the male manager was not wearing it correctly. This was pretty disappointing, and I have decided not to return until this issue is addressed. Wearing masks correctly is essential to help prevent the spread of the virus, and I hope the staff at this location can adhere to the guidelines for everyone's safety. As a regular visitor with my kids who love DQ, it's really disheartening to see this lack of compliance with safety measures.

As a Hispanic individual with a strong accent, I recently experienced a distressing situation at the Tomah Dairy Queen in Tomah, WI. When I ordered chili dogs, the employees laughed at me due to the language barrier. The manager was also involved in the incident and mentioned the challenge of finding good employees. This behavior is unacceptable, and I believe that the manager should prioritize training his staff to respect all customers. Upon reviewing the establishment's feedback online, it seems that many customers have faced similar issues with the manager. I hope for prompt action to address this matter effectively. Thank you for your attention to this concern. Sincerely, Teresa Retana

During my recent visit to the drive-thru at DQ Grill & Chill number [redacted] in Bellevue, I encountered a distressing situation. The employee, Tashika, used inappropriate language and was rude to my fiance and me. Despite explaining we were in a hurry, we were asked to pull aside and then observed other customers receiving their orders ahead of us. This occurred at 1:23 p.m., and our order ID was aab3kcaajat. The experience was so unpleasant that we left without our food. I feel disrespected and insulted by this unacceptable behavior. I believe better customer service should be a top priority for Dairy Queen. This incident has left me hesitant to return to this location or potentially any other Dairy Queen establishment.

Today, I visited Dairy Queen in Welland, Ontario, to order lunch. I asked for the Chicken Dip & Flip and two strawberry shakes, while my friend ordered chicken strips and fries. Unfortunately, our order was incorrect. I tried calling to resolve the issue, but no one answered, so I went to the store. After paying $29.68, I explained the error to the manager, but she became angry and raised her voice. Despite showing her my original order on the drive-thru board, she insisted I was wrong and refused to provide what I had requested. Eventually, she exchanged it for plain chicken strips with fries, but it still wasn't right. Throughout, the manager made derogatory comments in another language and mishandled my meal. Feeling disrespected and upset, I left without eating and have decided not to return due to the poor treatment I received. I believe I was discriminated against, and I plan to share my experience in reviews to warn others. Thank you for listening. -Cathy M.

I recently purchased a Groupon online for $4.50 and received a $9.00 credit (Order number 1[redacted]10-[redacted]) to use at Dairy Queen with no expiration date. Upon visiting the Dairy Queen at [redacted] S Tamiami Trail, unit #53, Bonita Springs, FL [redacted], they informed me that they were not accepting Groupon coupons due to the size. Despite the inconvenience, I ended up ordering two medium blizzards. I believe the Groupon should have been accepted as there was no prior notice indicating otherwise. The situation was not only embarrassing but also discouraging as it took some time to clarify the situation to the staff. If the Groupon cannot be redeemed at this location, I hope that some form of compensation can be offered, as Bonita Springs is where I reside. Thank you, Nina Hammer [redacted] Pauline Drive Bonita Springs, FL [redacted]

I ordered an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen on Main St in Dartmouth last Saturday and picked it up at 11:00 the next day. I had inquired about the cost of extra crunch and fudge, and was told it would be $2.50. Unfortunately, when I ordered a sheet cake for my sister-in-law named Deesha this Sunday, they charged me $10.00 for extra fudge and crunch, but there was hardly any crunch or ice cream on the cake, even missing from the bottom layer. The cake was plain with blue frosting, not what I expected. I have pictures of the cake that I can send by email. If needed, you can reach me at my phone number [redacted]. I hope to hear back soon, otherwise, I will follow up with a call. Thank you.

I have used the DQ app three times to order food for my wife and myself. Each time, I was given a pick-up time and on the latest occasion, I arrived at the Dairy Queen after waiting the scheduled time to find my order was not even prepared. After waiting in the drive-thru for over 12 minutes, the order was still not ready, and I would have had to wait even longer. I ultimately cancelled my order, paid for with my credit card through the app, and left. At a nearby Burger King, my order was quickly fulfilled. I am upset about this experience and request a refund to my credit card. My main concerns are why the food is not prepared ahead of time if it's paid for and why I had to endure such a long wait only to leave without the order.

While staying in Jackson, MS, my children and I encountered a mix-up with a food order from Dairy Queen. My daughter accidentally placed an order at the Oxford, MS location instead of our local one. Despite my attempts to cancel the order, I have not received a refund. I have left multiple voicemails at the Oxford, MS Dairy Queen and contacted corporate, but the issue remains unresolved over a month later. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I am an employee at a Dairy Queen in Lafayette, Tennessee that opened in April [redacted]. Recently, there have been concerning issues at work. Since business is picking up, management has not been increasing our staffing. They also deduct thirty minutes from our pay for not taking breaks, which violates labor laws. Some of us, like myself who works two jobs, only have one shift per week. When concerns were raised to the shift leader, the owner reacted negatively and did not address the lack of break time for busy employees. Moreover, the owner is absent and inexperienced high school students are being groomed for leadership roles, leading to chaos. The consolidation of discounts and lack of communication with the owner add to the frustrating work environment. The situation does not seem likely to improve during the upcoming busy spring season.

On April 20, [redacted], I experienced a frustrating situation at the drive-thru. After waiting for 15 minutes, when I tried to place my order at 9:02 pm, a recording announced that the establishment was closed. Disappointed by the unprofessionalism, I called on April 21, [redacted], and shared my experience with the manager. Unfortunately, her lack of concern was evident, as she abruptly ended the call. The incident occurred at [redacted] N. 21st Street in Newark, Ohio. I believe it's important for the manager to be aware of this issue. Treating customers with respect is key, and I hope this feedback is taken seriously. Thank you.

I visited the Dairy Queen drive-thru on State Street in New Albany, IN, where I ordered a 4 and 6 piece Chicken Basket last Sunday. At the window, I was mistakenly given a Blizzard before my correct order was processed. After some confusion, a supervisor (Male, Tall, skinny, with black hair) intervened, and I had to give them my receipt to sort out the order. When my food was ready, they asked for the Blizzard back, which I refused as it had already left the window. I voiced my concerns about sanitary practices, especially given the current circumstances. If this issue isn't addressed promptly, I may share my experience on social media platforms. Thank you.

I had an awful experience with customer service today. I requested a royal strawberry cheesecake blizzard, and three employees went through it with a spoon, even attempting to taste it before serving it. When I complained, they laughed and joked about it. At the window, the employee did not even know what it was. We asked for another strawberry blizzard, but it was brought to us leaking and messy. It was a mix of chocolate ice cream and looked unappetizing. This happened at the DQ in Stuarts Draft, VA. I have lived here for years and have never seen such poor service. I am requesting a refund for the order. Thank you.

I don't have any issues to report, but I wanted to mention that there is no Dairy Queen in Clay, NY, [redacted]. I would like to suggest that your company consider expanding to this area soon. Clay has recently attracted the newest Micron (chip manufacturer) plant, which is set to start construction soon. With this growth, there are excellent locations for a new Dairy Queen. The town is rapidly developing and is expecting to see a significant increase in population as Micron plans to open 10,[redacted] job positions. It's clear that Clay is on the verge of a major expansion and having a Dairy Queen would be a fantastic addition to the community. Thank you for considering this suggestion. - Katrina D. from Baldwinsville, NY

During my recent visit to Sneeds Ferry, NC, I encountered multiple issues that left me disappointed. Initially, there was no one at the counter to assist us, and despite making eye contact, we were not greeted. After repeatedly asking for help, we were finally able to place our order, only to have to retrieve it ourselves from behind the counter. Despite these challenges, I chose to stay as I have a fondness for DQ and visit almost every year. I hope that improvements can be made to ensure a more pleasant experience for customers in the future so that this location remains a go-to spot for our yearly visits.
