I hired a personal trainer for one month, not three as they are charging me for. Despite my contract clearly showing it was not a 3-month agreement, they are insisting it was always a 3-month commitment. Even though I did initial next to the part mentioning a 3-month option, we never circled it. After emailing to cancel my membership and training, the trainer's response was rude, and the Crunch gym manager is supporting them. I refuse to pay for two months of training I did not use, especially to a trainer who has behaved inappropriately.

There is a trainer at the University of Sarasota location who displays rude behavior. To say she is obnoxious would be an understatement. While passing near the class she was teaching, she approached me from behind, grabbed my shoulder, and sternly instructed me to never walk by her class again. I informed her that I am a paying member, to which she dismissively responded, "What a big spender, $10 per month. Big deal." I was shocked by her attitude. Jeb, the young man at the desk, acknowledged that she has received numerous complaints. Her name is Mary, in her 50s, with grey hair and a slender build.

Good morning, I am a corporate member at the St. Petersburg 37th Street location. I have a major complaint. When I first signed up, I was informed that I could set up anytime during corporate night at the gym. However, the schedule has been changing frequently - from every second Wednesday to every last Wednesday, and now to just one Wednesday and one Tuesday. This new schedule does not work for me as it only allows me one evening per month to set up, which is not feasible for my business needs. I have adjusted my schedule to accommodate the previous arrangement. Please advise on how this matter can be resolved to ensure my satisfaction. Thank you.

I would appreciate more flexibility with scheduling. It is challenging for small business owners like myself to constantly adjust our schedules based on changing dates. Having a set schedule would be more convenient for my corporate membership. If I am only able to meet one evening per month, I may reconsider my $[redacted] membership, as I feel the current situation is taking advantage of me with the ongoing schedule adjustments. Thank you, Darren.

As a member of the gym in Malden, MA, I have noticed several housekeeping issues since I joined last year. Specifically, one of the Dyson dryers in the ladies' room has not been working properly. Despite my repeated requests to staff and the manager, this issue has yet to be resolved. Furthermore, the clocks have not been adjusted for daylight savings time since March, despite multiple reminders. Additionally, the cleanliness of the class room is subpar, with weights and steps often left out after use without staff clearing them promptly. I hope these concerns can be addressed promptly for the betterment of the gym environment.

Hello, my name is Angel Alberto. I have been a member for quite some time and generally have a positive opinion of the workers. However, I experienced two incidents that I would like to report. During a storm in September, I was in the bathroom discussing the situation with relatives when the manager entered and rudely informed me that I couldn't spend more than 15 minutes in the bathroom. This was embarrassing as it implied I was doing something wrong. The second incident occurred yesterday when I brought a friend to the gym as a guest. Another worker, possibly a manager, told me I couldn't train anyone and that it was disrespectful to the coaches. I was then warned without proper explanation. I felt disrespected and unfairly treated. I hope to receive a response regarding these incidents. Thank you. The gym's address is [redacted] N Andrews Ave, Oakland Park, FL [redacted].

On May 26, I signed up for personal training at Crunch Fitness Belle Island in Orlando, FL. After two days, I had to cancel due to personal reasons. I contacted the personal trainer to explain my situation and inability to continue, as going to the gym was challenging for me. Despite the trainer seemingly understanding, I tried reaching out to their supervisor via messages and emails, with no response. Two weeks later, it was evident that the supervisor was not informed about my situation, as I was unexpectedly charged when I visited the gym. The lack of communication and explanation from the trainer and supervisor was disappointing.

I used to be a member of the Crunch Fitness gym on Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia. The regional manager informed me that another woman in the HIIT class accused me of making inappropriate comments. Despite my denial, my membership was suspended. Due to this false accusation, I chose to cancel my membership as my reputation has been damaged. I feel my character has been wrongfully tarnished by this incident. To address this issue, I would like to discuss the possibility of having the manager held accountable for these false allegations. You can reach me at [redacted] to further discuss this matter.

I need assistance with an overcharging issue related to my gym membership cancellation. I signed up for memberships for both myself and my wife at Crunch Fitness. Upon realizing I needed to end the memberships, I visited the gym in January [redacted] to cancel both. In June, I noticed charges were still being deducted for my Crunch membership. After investigating, I discovered that only my membership was canceled, not my wife's, which was the account being charged. Due to this misunderstanding, I have been wrongly billed for an additional 6-7 months on one membership. I am seeking the prompt return of those funds. I am looking for the corporate office contact information or guidance on how to address this issue effectively.

On June 24th, I received a call from ABC Crunch billing department. I updated my card on file to continue my monthly membership, authorizing a $38 payment ($28 for the membership and a $10 late fee). However, my card was charged $[redacted] plus an unauthorized $10. I contacted my home gym on Hillsborough Ave in Tampa, FL, and discovered that the personal trainer did not cancel the discussed plan after our session, which was uncertain due to my impending move to Texas. I specifically asked not to charge my account without my consent. Despite my move and lack of approval, the charge was processed a year later. My gym claims they are unable to refund me as they lack the necessary system access to issue a refund, leaving me frustrated and without resolution.

I signed up for Crunch online, but didn't use the gym due to a knee injury requiring surgery. After attempting to cancel via email and being instructed to visit the gym, I went in person to the Anderson SC location to cancel my membership. Despite this, I am being wrongly charged for monthly fees and continuously contacted about billing problems. My membership is definitely cancelled, and I urge you to update your records accordingly. Please cease all further contact as I have already made multiple requests. I am recovering from surgery and might consider rejoining in the future. However, the current situation feels like harassment, and I will take legal action if the charges persist and the communication does not cease. Please address this promptly. Thank you. I have been experiencing consistent overcharges on my membership fees each month at the South Lakeland, Florida location where I have been a member since the beginning. After the location began accepting Silver Sneakers, I switched both my and my husband's memberships, which should only total four dollars per month. However, we are currently being charged $12.69 per month. Despite speaking with the manager multiple times, we have not been able to resolve this issue. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Location: Tamarac, Florida Customer Initials: M.C. Subject: Challenge with personal trainer payments I recently joined Crunch as a new member. I encountered an issue with the payments for my personal trainer, and the trainer manager, Matthew Rivera, approved the cancellation. However, the recurring payment was not halted. Despite having documentation of the cancellation, I am now being informed that they cannot honor the agreement because the manager no longer works there. I want these payments to cease. When I reached out, I spoke to Sylvia who was unhelpful and claimed the cancellation contract was invalid. I prefer not to involve my attorney, but I am prepared to do so if necessary. Kindly assist in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you, M.C.

I was a member at Crunch Greenwood Village, which closed on June 23, [redacted]. My membership was shifted to Chuz Fitness without my knowledge, and they obtained my banking details without consent. On 06/27/[redacted], I believed I cancelled both my Crunch and Chuz memberships. However, on 06/28, $37.50 was deducted from my bank account. I'm struggling to resolve this situation by contacting Chuz, Crunch, and ABC Financial. I have discovered multiple active accounts and want assistance canceling them to stop further charges. I recently learned my trainer won't be compensated for 20 remaining sessions. I request a refund for these sessions and the $37.50 deducted from my account. Please provide me with a contact to deactivate all my accounts.

I recently relocated from Savannah, GA, to Marietta, GA, and have been attempting to transfer my Crunch membership from the Savannah location to the one on Sandy Plains. Despite my multiple attempts to contact the Savannah Crunch since the 22nd, I've been unable to get my membership transferred due to a missing entry in their database. The manager, Caitlyn, promised to email me the transfer paperwork, but I have yet to receive it after a week of emailing her and following up daily. During my attempts to speak with Caitlyn, I overheard her instructing someone on the phone. I am frustrated by the lack of progress and just want to resolve this issue. I've been charged for another month at the Savannah location and would appreciate a resolution soon.

I recently visited the gym at [redacted] Forest Hill Blvd in Greenacres, FL [redacted] to cancel my membership as I will be out of state starting on July 5th. Despite my cancellation, they charged me again for the month. When I called them, they informed me that I still have to pay for August without giving a clear reason. I find it unfair as I personally went to cancel for valid personal reasons, and now they are still deducting money from my brother-in-law's account. I believe it is unjust since I am not receiving the services anymore, as I had followed all the correct procedures to cancel my membership.

I joined this gym because of the kids club they have for my son, but there have been issues with the hours and staff availability. When I signed up, I was told the kids club would be open at specific times during the week. However, I have arrived a few times to find out the staff member wasn't there, wasting my time and gas. Recently, I learned that the kids club is not available on Fridays in the afternoon because they supposedly don't get many children, which was not communicated to me. It turns out they are reducing the staff's hours without notifying customers. Additionally, the gym has problems with the air conditioning, limited working equipment like treadmills, and unfriendly staff interactions, notably Leo. I am considering canceling my membership due to these ongoing issues. Gym Address: [redacted] Alondra Blvd Norwalk, CA [redacted] United States

Hi there, I'd appreciate some help. After joining the gym near my home and attending for two weeks, I decided to cancel. I have received confirmation from Bryce Alfonso that my membership was indeed canceled. However, for the past week, I have been receiving calls and emails insisting that I have a balance and my card payment failed. Could you kindly explain why there is a balance on my account and why the charges are continuing post-cancellation? I am very frustrated about being charged nearly $[redacted] for not even completing a full month at the gym. I believe I deserve to speak with a supervisor or someone from corporate to sort this out promptly. I need my account closed with a zero balance. Thank you, Blanca O. [redacted]

Hello, My name is Elexis Johnson. I am reaching out about charges on my account that Chrunch is trying to send to collections on the 15th of this month. I explained to the manager that I was wrongfully billed for an annual fee after canceling within 30 days. A Chrunch member did not inform me that I had to cancel in person, resulting in another month's charge and an unexpected annual fee. I accepted the extra month charge, even though I didn't use the facilities, but I'm upset about the threat of collections. A manager assured me at the time of cancellation that I didn't owe anything more. I was out of town and couldn't return for two weeks due to work, which they initially agreed to, but now I'm facing harassment over fees that shouldn't be on my account.

I am a member at Crunch Fitness in Fairfield, CA. On Wednesday, 8/9, another member and I noticed an older Indian man recording us on his phone while we were using the squat rack. I immediately informed the front desk, and they addressed him. The man then confronted us, yelling and trying to show us the recording on his phone. We filed a written complaint that evening, along with other female members who experienced similar situations. Despite our evidence and the gym's security footage confirming the incident, the General Manager, Jeff, stated nothing was being done because there was no recording on his phone. This member has a history of inappropriate behavior towards female members, yet no action has been taken. He even spreads word about the incident and makes us feel uncomfortable by staring at us. Additionally, he is known for drinking in his car before entering the gym and following female members.
