I recently opened an account with 4 lines at the beginning of August. Initially, the website stated that the phones I purchased were compatible with mobile hotspot, but unfortunately, they are not. Since the start of the month, my data speeds have decreased significantly, sometimes reaching as low as 0.50. I have felt misled and dissatisfied. Despite contacting customer service multiple times, I have not received satisfactory assistance, as they acknowledged that the phones were sold under false advertising. I am currently on the unlimited 2 plan and I am requesting that all my lines be deprioritized and that I be provided with 5.5-inch phones that support wireless hotspot functionality. If these issues are not resolved promptly, I will escalate my concerns to the Better Business Bureau and the State Attorney General's Office. Thank you for your attention to this matter. -An unhappy Cricket customer

I am looking to transfer my number back to Metro PCS today after being their customer for 7 years at $50 per month for unlimited data without speed reduction. I would appreciate being contacted before my service is disconnected. I felt deceived about porting from Metro PCS, as I paid $55 for the unlimited data plan. The store where this occurred has a low 1.7 rating, which is troubling. The situation isn't fair to customers like me. As a disabled individual who is relocating, Cricket is asking for more money, unlike my previous plan with Metro PCS. I was misled by an employee at the store, and it's disheartening. It seems like Cricket might be aware of these issues. I hope this concern will be addressed as it's gaining attention online with talk of potential legal action. I've been accustomed to using 120GB of data easily and depend on it since I don't have internet access at home due to my disability and financial constraints.

I have not had Cricket service for over a year. When I used their service, it was only for about eight months. Despite having US Cellular with T-Mobile now, when I called Cricket to replace my phone, they somehow locked it. Now they are saying I need six months of service with them. I paid for my phone in cash and told them they owe me 2 1/2 months of credit, but they refuse to refund me. I plan to contact the FTC and the Better Business Bureau about this issue. I have recorded phone calls where they have mistreated me, leaving me on hold for 30 minutes and chatting instead of helping me. I am fed up with Cricket and do not wish to continue using their service. One representative even attempted to give me an unlock code. If my phone remains locked, I will continue to pursue this matter until Cricket resolves it satisfactorily.

My phone was stolen, and despite calling to suspend the service, the thief managed to make several calls to change details on my account. I've followed all the steps requested, including providing a police report, IMEI number, phone receipt, and SIM card information. I've spent two weeks trying to regain my number, running around town several times and spending countless hours on the phone. Despite being told to wait 24 hours for resolution, it has been two weeks without any progress. I just want to locate my phone and have the person responsible arrested. It's frustrating to feel like my information is not being protected, while the thief has access to important data on my account. I feel the company needs to take action and prioritize their customers' rights. The number I'm trying to regain is [redacted], which was under my mother's account with the number [redacted].

I need to swap one number (port one out, bring in an existing Cricket number to replace it) while keeping my 5 lines for $[redacted] promotion. I was assured in writing by two separate agents, with a note on our account, that this change could be accommodated even though the promotion is no longer available. I am willing to pursue legal action, even small claims court, to ensure I receive what was promised. I request your prompt attention to this matter. The number to be ported out is [redacted], and the replacement number is [redacted]. I can provide proof of the promises made if needed. Thank you.

I am experiencing issues with my phone calls where I cannot hear or be heard. The customer service in the local stores has been unprofessional and not helpful. In the past, I always received a screen protector and back cover with my phone, but this time I was informed that they no longer provide them. Additionally, when I tried to order a case online, it turned out to be too big. This situation is frustrating, especially since I rely on my Cricket phone for its unlimited data and reliable connection. My previous phone, the Alcatel Idol, suddenly stopped charging and the headset plug-in stopped working. My overall experience with Cricket this year has been unacceptable, and this may be the last phone I purchase from them.

My Essential PH-1 phone, which I brought to Cricket, is experiencing network identification problems. It functions for basic services like data, calls, and texts, but encounters a "Network or SIM card error" when attempting call forwarding. I suspect this issue arises from the network's failure to recognize my device accurately. I stumbled upon this thread on Reddit, where a user mentioned resolving a similar issue by having AT&T identify the phone as an iPhone with VoLTE. Would it be feasible to try this solution? If so, kindly advise if I should power off the phone before making the attempt. In my efforts to seek assistance, I contacted Customer Service and conversed with Charlie, who, although pleasant, could not offer a solution (I had not yet discovered the Reddit thread at that time). Thank you.

My PIN has been changed without my knowledge, causing issues as I attempt to replace my broken and lost phone. Despite multiple attempts to purchase a new phone for service on my account, I am unable to do so due to the account lockout. This has persisted for four days now, with calls to Cricket customer service proving unhelpful in resolving the problem. The PIN change was not initiated by me, and as a result, I cannot even stop the auto-pay for a service I am unable to utilize. The inability to access my phone service has also caused me to miss out on a job opportunity. Despite having the same PIN for a year across four lines on my account, the situation remains unresolved. Cricket's supposed protection service has failed in my case. I have visited two Cricket stores in my attempt to fix this issue to no avail, leaving me paying for a service I cannot use. Thank you for addressing this matter.

I called last night around 11 p.m. to make my bridge payment but was informed that Cricket was undergoing changes, preventing me from processing the payment. This left me in a tough spot as I had to pay the full amount today. When I contacted customer service to address the issue, I was met with unhelpful responses. The manager I spoke to, Carlos, was dismissive and refused to provide his full name or ID number. I persisted in asking for assistance, but he was uncooperative and displayed poor customer service. I had to make the payment in full eventually, feeling frustrated by the lack of understanding and support from the manager. This experience was disappointing as there was a lack of communication about the updates that hindered my ability to make the payment on time.

I would like to express my appreciation for the staff at your Mall Dr. location in Steubenville, Ohio. Recently, I had concerns about my data usage being high. The three young men working there were all very friendly and welcoming. Austin assisted me and identified that a specific app I had recently started using was consuming a lot of my data. He not only fixed the issue but also provided me with additional tips. At 70 years old, I was hesitant to visit the store, fearing that I might be judged. However, Austin was extremely kind and made me feel at ease, encouraging me to ask any questions. My experience was so positive that I felt compelled to reach out to you. I appreciate the quality of service and the affordable prices as a retiree. Thank you for employing such exceptional staff members.

I have been experiencing ongoing issues with one of the lines I ported to Cricket Wireless. Two out of the three lines have had no problems, but the third line has been unable to receive calls since the beginning. Initially, I was told by a store employee that this was a normal part of the porting process, but it never got resolved. Despite paying for this line each month, customer service informed me that the number was invalid and not originally active with their company, contradicting my understanding. The line can rarely make or receive calls, but data and texts work sporadically. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue with customer service, the problem persists. I have been advised to pay for a new line or port in another number at a discounted rate, which I find unacceptable since the line was active like the others. My account details are under Cody Enyeart, and the problematic line has the phone number [redacted].

I was on the $40.00 plan, but my bill has increased to $60.00 per month. Moreover, I encountered issues with my phone for which I had insurance. I visited a Cricket store in Ogden, UT, located on 15th and Washington St. The staff member misled me by suggesting I needed to purchase another phone instead of utilizing my insurance as I had paid for. This resulted in unnecessary expenses. I am requesting a review of my previous plan, the problematic phone, and the unnecessary purchase imposed on me. I feel exploited and deserve fair treatment. I am troubled by the possibility of older customers being taken advantage of by your employees. My previous payment was $40.00, not $60.00. I seek resolution for this issue and reimbursement for the unjust transaction. The situation was mishandled, and I request a thorough investigation into my accounts and previous phone.

I visited the Bowling Green, KY location at [redacted] Scottsville Rd to switch my phone number from Straight Talk to Cricket Wireless today. The salesperson helped me contact Straight Talk customer service to release my phone. I was charged $92.09 for activation fee, $25.00 for the first month of service, and $9.99 for a sim card kit, totaling $89.99 plus $2.10 in taxes. However, the Cricket sim card wouldn't work in my phone as the salesperson claimed it was locked, even though I purchased it from Walmart which assured it was not locked. The number was never ported over, and after speaking with the store manager who couldn't issue a refund, I had to spend an additional $47.69 in store to get a phone that was compatible. I no longer need the Cricket phone as my Samsung Galaxy 5 was the intended device for the switch due to service issues in KY. If I can't transfer my phone number, I request a refund as I spent over 2 hours trying to resolve this matter. Patricia W.

I referred a friend to Cricket recently. Unfortunately, she couldn't access the referral number, which means neither of us will receive the $25 reward. This has happened to me twice now. Both friends were disappointed about not getting the reward, but they are happy with Cricket's service. It would be great if Cricket could address this issue, especially for customers who may not be as tech-savvy. Perhaps allowing us to provide our phone numbers as a referral could help the company track where the referrals are coming from. Expanding their policy to be more user-friendly, especially for older customers, would be appreciated.

About two weeks ago, I visited a local Cricket store to suspend one of my three lines, which I had done before without any issues. When I returned today to have the service reinstated, I was informed that the line had been cancelled instead of suspended. They are now asking for $70.00 plus to reinstate it. I need assistance with this to avoid the additional charge as I am unable to afford it. My child needs the phone for school, and I did not intend for it to be cancelled. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Approximately two weeks ago, I visited a local Cricket store to suspend my line [redacted] which is one of the three lines I have with your company. I had completed this process previously without any issues. The store agent advised me to return or call to reactivate the line before 30 days to avoid additional charges. Today, when I returned to reinstate the line, I was informed that it had been canceled, not suspended, and I would need to pay $70.00 to have it reactivated. I find this situation confusing as I had assured the agent I would return within the 30-day window to avoid extra fees. I am now facing this unexpected charge, which I believe may have been a mistake or miscommunication. I urgently require this service reinstated and am unable to afford the additional cost. Your assistance in resolving this matter is highly appreciated. Thank you.

I recently spent 2 hours on the phone with customer service. My account got suspended for missing the bridge pay 2nd installment due to your system being down. Consequently, my bank account is now frozen, and I need to wait until the bank reopens to address this issue. Unfortunately, today is a holiday, and my kids are home from school. I am unable to run errands like going to the grocery store or filling up on gas. Despite speaking to 3 different representatives who provided conflicting information, I was left with no resolution. One representative even suggested paying in cash to resolve the issue, but now I'm without access to funds for essential expenses like food and gas, having already paid $50 towards the bridge pay and needing an additional $[redacted] to reinstate the service.

Hello, my name is J. Gutierrez. Today, my son and I visited a cricket store in Sedalia, MO to replace his broken phone. The person at the counter requested my PIN and number, which I provided. Unfortunately, he mistakenly processed the upgrade on my account instead of my son's, and I left my phone at home. He assured me he transferred the upgrade to my son and gave me a SIM card to insert once I returned home. However, the SIM card does not fit my phone, leaving me without a working phone to contact anyone about this issue. It is currently 9:46 PM on a Sunday, and I'm unsure how to resolve this situation. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I bought an affordable Boost iPhone 6s online and brought it to Cricket. The employee helped with the setup but didn’t realize the phones were locked until trying to activate them. I've been trying to get a refund since Thursday, but both Cricket and Boost are giving me the runaround. Boost won't unlock the phones without a 12-month plan commitment, leaving me $[redacted] out with no working phones for my daughters. Despite the policy, I believe I deserve a refund as the phones can't even make emergency calls. I just want fair treatment and a refund to get service elsewhere. It's a reasonable request considering the situation and the amount of money involved.

I am inquiring about obtaining phone logs from a Cricket phone that was active between 2[redacted]. The phone belonged to my nephew, for whom my wife and I were caregivers. We are searching for information related to his late mother's passing, and believe her old contacts could provide valuable insight. Is it possible to retrieve the old bills, containing phone logs, for this specific number? We are eager to connect with her former acquaintances to potentially locate her burial site. Although we no longer possess the phone, we have access to the previous number. I may also have records of the phone purchase on an old credit card statement. Your assistance in determining the availability of the call logs is greatly appreciated. Thank you for considering our request. Warm regards, Mark & Kelly Goob (under the account name "Mark")
