I need help with my pandemic EDD application. I received an approval letter and my account number, but I can't log into my UI account on the EDD website. Although I triple-checked my information, the website claims it doesn't match what I provided during registration. I've tried contacting EDD through various numbers listed on their site, but all say they can't take calls due to the high volume. The recorded message directs me to other numbers that offer no assistance. I need to certify, but I can't get anyone to help fix my EDD website portal.

I have submitted two unemployment insurance claims, and it has been over a month without any response. I received a message in my UI inbox confirming that the EDD received my question on Ask EDD, but I have not received a reply to my original issue. When I try to start a new claim through my online account, it keeps redirecting me to the same page repeatedly. I have attempted to contact the EDD through four different phone numbers provided, but I have not been able to reach anyone after weeks of trying. This situation has left me without funds to cover bills, food, and clothing for my children. I am desperate for assistance.

I was let go from Fish King after working there for seven years at the end of January. I made a mistake by taking money that belonged to the company. I applied for EDD benefits in February, but my claim was denied. Despite appealing and attending a hearing on April 2nd, I was unsuccessful. EDD instructed me to find a job and earn at least $1,[redacted]. I did find employment in March, but the company closed due to the virus in April, leaving me without income. I promptly informed EDD, sent them the required documents with my social security number on May 5, as directed, but it's now been eight months, and I have yet to receive any payments. I am struggling and facing homelessness. I have tried reaching out to EDD without success. I need assistance urgently.

I recently attempted to file for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA). Despite following what I thought was the correct filing process, I encountered issues. After reaching out to EDD for my account number, which I never received in the mail, I was able to log in using the UI Online. However, upon accessing the system, I was prompted to either follow a new claim or manage my existing one. Since I believed I had already filed, I selected to manage my claim. This led me to a login page and subsequently to a page displaying my payment history and benefit amount, indicating that my claim should be backdated to February when I was impacted by Covid-19. Despite this, I am currently not seeing any benefits in my account, and the dates appear incorrect as well. I officially filed on July 7th, [redacted]. Where are my benefits?

I need assistance with my EDD claims. They were initially denied because I failed to refile within the allotted time, although I promptly completed and sent 11 certification letters after receiving my award letter by mail without having my account number. When I finally received my account number on July 22, [redacted], I discovered I couldn't mail my claim and was asked to resubmit it online by July 16, [redacted]. However, I only received my online account number on July 22. I am frustrated by this situation as there seems to be no option to refile the claim. I have tried contacting EDD for help numerous times without success.

Hello, I applied for California Unemployment Insurance on March 15th due to COVID-19. I was receiving payments regularly as I reported all my earnings accurately either through the certification mail form or the UI Online system. However, my payments stopped suddenly on 5/31/[redacted] without any explanation. Despite sending multiple emails through the UI system, I have not received any response from the department within the 5-7 business days as promised. It has been two months since I last received a payment, and all the weeks I certified are still pending in my online account. I have been actively seeking employment and can provide proof. Unfortunately, California residents are unable to reach a representative through EDD's customer service phone line. Can you please advise me on the best way to resolve this issue and get some clarity? Thank you, M.H.

My claim started on 3/29/[redacted], but I needed to serve five False Statement Penalty weeks before receiving payments. I got payments for weeks 5/3 to 6/20 and was told I might get a retroactive PUA payment for the penalty weeks. I thought it might be just the extra $[redacted]. I filled out and returned the form promptly. Later, I saw a "Reopen Claim" link on my homepage. Without speaking to anyone, I followed the instructions. Even after doing so twice, my claim status didn't change. I've tried contacting EDD through online messages and emails multiple times, but haven't received a response, although their auto-reply promises a reply in 5 to 7 days. It's now been over 4 weeks. I'm unable to certify for benefits since 8/2, causing financial strain. I've spent hours trying to call without success. I fear I may have made an error on the mailed form. I urgently need assistance as I'm facing financial hardship. Thank you.

I have not received any communication from EDD after updating them on 3 issues: 1. Reference #[redacted]5 is for confirming the Pandemic Payment of $[redacted]/week back-pay from March [redacted] to present instead of starting in July [redacted] when my claim was filed. I was told by EDD that I would receive an email confirming my request within 3 days of sending the email on 07/15/[redacted], but I have heard nothing. 2. I need to correct the Last Employer information from Dodge Ridge Ski Resort to All State Valet on Form/Line Item DE1101CLMT, but I am unsure how to update this with EDD. 3. EDD sent me an Identity Verification Form, which I completed and returned with the required attachments via Certified Mail. I had difficulties navigating the EDD website initially as it was not accepting my correct information such as my SS#, leading me to use my father's last name and a slightly different email, which allowed me to successfully file my claim. I have also been locked out of the EDD website.

Hello, my name is Robert, and I encountered difficulties filing for unemployment due to being dyslexic and illiterate. Despite my attempts to reach out to the EDD for assistance, I couldn't get through. I filled out the form to the best of my ability, but unfortunately, I must have made a mistake which led to my payments being stopped and my weekly balance set to zero. I've spoken to three different representatives who all mentioned that a supervisor would contact me in 48 hours to resolve the issue, but I've never received that call. Now, I'm unable to reach a live person on the phone. I just want to correct my claim promptly to receive my benefits and cover my mounting bills. Please reach out to me to update my information. My name is Robert N., and my social security number is [redacted]. Thank you for your help.

I have an existing unemployment claim that has been approved. I have certified for my benefits for all weeks since February. However, I have not received any payments. When I check my account online, it shows "pending" under my status for all weeks dating back two months. I have continued to certify for benefits, but the status remains the same. This delay is causing me financial strain, and I am worried about becoming homeless without these payments. My details are as follows: Name: Alan D Smith Address: [redacted] Saranac Ave, La Mesa, CA [redacted] Phone: [redacted] Email: [redacted]

As a self-employed individual working with North American Bankcard, I collaborate with subsidiaries Electronic Exchange Systems and Total Merchant Services to set up merchants for credit card processing. Due to the uncertainty caused by the Coronavirus, my income has significantly decreased. I have been approved for $[redacted].50 quarterly, but I encounter challenges with the bi-weekly work reports conflicting with my monthly residuals. Despite my constant efforts in contacting potential merchants, my monthly income from three accounts has reduced compared to the past 6-12 months. I would appreciate assistance in navigating this mismatch. My name is Dave Murrow, and I can be reached at [redacted] N Escondido Blvd, Escondido, CA. You can contact me at either [redacted] or [redacted] if needed.

My unemployment claim expired in April [redacted], and although I did not use up all my benefits, my last payment was received in January [redacted]. I had issues with the address where I received mail, causing delays in my certifications. When I began my new claim in March, it wasn't automatically extended due to the pandemic. I'm not in school or training and believe someone may have tampered with my account, possibly my ex-partner. I haven't received payments I expected, including pandemic unemployment assistance (PUI) for the 13-week extension. I have an old account number and have received a letter indicating a payment of $6,[redacted].

I submitted a claim over a week ago and still haven't received any updates, which is worrying since this is my second claim in two months. The first time, about two months ago, I received something in the mail but couldn't see it as my roommate mistakenly threw it away. I've been trying to contact customer service daily but can't reach anyone, so I resorted to filing another claim after about one-and-a-half to two months of trying unsuccessfully. I also recently changed my contact preference from mail to email about five days ago, shortly after filing this current claim. Additionally, I realized I misspelled my last name on the recent application, with the last letter as "m" instead of "n." Am I supposed to just continue waiting or is there some additional step I need to take?

I tried to certify for more weeks online, but it prompted me to reopen my claim, even though I already submitted certifications for 22 weeks. I couldn't get through online without a customer number, so I called and obtained one. I was anticipating receiving more certifications by mail, but then I realized I needed to reopen my claim. I unintentionally selected "no" for looking for work since I understood that job searches weren't required during stay-at-home orders. As a single parent, the financial support is crucial, especially since I haven't received a check since July 10th.

I submitted my unemployment application four months ago, but I still haven't received my EDD customer account number. In May [redacted], I received a confirmation letter stating that I qualify for weekly benefits of $[redacted].00; however, I couldn't access the benefits without the customer account number or EDD debit card. Despite numerous attempts to reach out by phone, I couldn't get through to a representative to inquire about this issue. I also sent a message within a week of being notified about the benefits, but only received a generic response stating that the account number would arrive within 10 days. It has now been over two months, and I am still waiting for both the customer account number and EDD debit card. I am frustrated with the delay and would appreciate assistance from EDD to resolve this matter promptly.

I applied for unemployment on either April 19th or 20th. I received one payment in June, which was the initial payment. Since then, though I've been certifying for benefits, I haven't received any payments. After talking to a representative, they fixed a flagged issue on my account but mentioned someone would call from the office, which hasn't happened. I'm waiting for my payments. I got an email confirming my payments from February 8th to July 31st under the CARES Act for COVID-19-related redundancy at work. I'm hoping for assistance with this matter. Thank you.

My name is Anna Nichol Harmon. I filed my claim, it was submitted and verified by July 21, [redacted]. I received the paper certification in the mail, sent them back, while requesting my account number. I couldn't get in anywhere due to high communication traffic. My boyfriend certified online without an account number. I helped him while struggling to do mine. I called to request a new card, and it arrived the next morning. I finally got my EDD number today after calling the [redacted] number. I discovered that two paper checks were paid, yet I received no check or $[redacted] since July 29. There should be back pay from my PUA somewhere. This is disappointing and time-sensitive. I've waited too long to certify. I've certified but received no payment. Can you track my money? This is unprofessional, and I shouldn't have to deal with these errors on my account. Please fix this, EDD. Thank you. Anna Nichol Harmon, San Diego, CA.

I have been awaiting my payments for 3 weeks. After numerous attempts to contact customer service, I was informed to provide proof of identity and was advised to wait until September 1st for payment release. Despite multiple calls, emails, and messages to various departments, I have not received a response. The delay has caused me to lose my RV, car, and my children have been placed in foster care due to homelessness. The lack of assistance is disheartening after nearly a month of waiting.

I am having difficulties enrolling and filing a claim due to an existing claim that I never received information about. This has caused a lot of frustration as I have been out of work since the beginning of the pandemic. My attempts to resolve this issue with the unemployment office have been fruitless. Initially, I applied for unemployment after being let go from my Wingstop job in November [redacted]. The incorrect phone number provided during the application process led to me missing my interview appointment. After seeking help from an employment office to correct the information, I was informed that I needed to appeal the decision made by the EDD. However, during a call with an EDD representative, I was met with unhelpful questions and when I requested to speak to someone more knowledgeable, the call was abruptly ended. It has been a frustrating experience dealing with this situation for over a week.

I filed my claim on May 8, [redacted] and have received confirmation letters regarding my claim and the payment amount. Despite submitting all certifications online, as of August 26, [redacted], I have not received any funds. When checking my claim activity, it appears expired and won't allow resubmission. After contacting customer service and being told to expect a call within 72 hours, no one has contacted me after four working days. Please update me on the status so I can receive my money. Thank you. - D.S.
