Today, when I was paying our Solar Company, I noticed a $1.00 charge from Bookit.com on my credit card. I did not authorize this transaction and would appreciate a refund. I find it concerning that Bookit.com was able to obtain my credit card details without my consent. Although I attempted to reach out to their Customer Service, I was unable to get through as they are not currently accepting phone calls. I kindly request the reversal of the unauthorized $1.00 charge.

In [redacted], I made reservations with bookit.com for a trip to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. Unfortunately, I couldn't go due to illness. When I canceled, I was told I could rebook within a year. However, when I tried to reschedule, the price had doubled. I explained my fixed income situation, but they wouldn't refund me. I managed to get a refund from the airline, but I need to pass the info to bookit.com. Due to the [redacted] pandemic, bookit.com became unreachable, and I haven't received my refund. I made travel arrangements for Mexico in March for April, but due to the pandemic, my flights got canceled. The airline issued a credit for future flights, but I have not received any credit from BOOKIT.COM for the hotel part of my booking. It has been almost a year, and I cannot reach anyone on their website due to travel advisories. I am confused about the lack of communication and support from BOOKIT.COM, especially since travel has resumed. My Cancun Timeshare has indicated that travelers are staying there. I have escalated this issue and am contacting the NYS Attorney General's office for assistance.

I made a reservation for a two-night stay at the Blue Marlin in Virginia Beach. Upon checking in at 7:30 p.m., the first room I was assigned was unclean and infested with bed bugs. After requesting a change, the second room was also unsatisfactory. Despite asking for housekeeping to address the issue, the owner failed to provide a clean room. I even found bugs in the second bed after stripping the sheets. The owner refused to relocate us or issue a refund, forcing us to leave at 3:45 a.m. after less than 24 hours. I have photographic evidence of the unsanitary conditions and demand a refund for this unacceptable experience. My child was bitten by bed bugs, which is completely intolerable. I am hopeful for a prompt response regarding this matter.

I recently made a booking through Bookit.com for the Days Inn by Wyndham at Daytona Beach FL Speedway area but could not make it due to the gas shortage on the East Coast. The manager, Faith, was helpful in canceling the room and promised a refund. However, I haven't received the refund yet after being charged. I am eager to get my money back and would appreciate if someone could assist me with this matter promptly.

I made a booking at the ibis hotel in Casula to see my children in Sydney on June 28, [redacted]. We made a hotel reservation through BookIt and were immediately charged $[redacted].40. Upon arrival, we wished to switch to a room with a river view. The hotel informed us they couldn't cancel as we booked through a third party. When attempting to contact BookIt, we were redirected back to the hotel. The hotel employee, unable to reach BookIt, made new reservations while promising to cancel the original ones. Subsequently, the pending charge of $[redacted].40 went through, charging us the full amount for both bookings. The original rooms we reserved through BookIt were under $[redacted] each, making the total charge confusing. We seek assistance in obtaining a full refund from the hotel and BookIt. I received an email regarding an overcharge on five reservations while I was away on a business trip. After contacting the number provided, I received a unique verification number from the management team. They informed me of charges amounting to $11,[redacted] on three different credit cards, with a cancellation fee reducing it to $10,[redacted]. However, these charges do not align with my records, and upon my return home, I discovered my electricity has been disconnected due to lack of funds. I urge the electric company to verify my identity promptly in order to resolve this issue as the situation has left me financially strained.
