I had a flight booked from Comox to Prince George on July 12th, ticket number [redacted]82. Our flight departing from Comox was delayed, but I managed to reach the gate in Vancouver for my connection to Prince George before boarding began. Despite having a boarding pass and a confirmed seat, the agent couldn't find me in the system and I was denied boarding. An Air Canada staff member had mistakenly rebooked me on a later flight at 9:15 pm, which was also delayed. The agent was apologetic but unable to resolve the issue due to being new to the job. I attempted to file a complaint with Air Canada, but it was rejected by their automated system. I believe Air Canada should rectify their mistake by offering me a complimentary flight or a similar compensation.

Hello, good evening. I am M. Aguillón. My flight confirmation number for the Montreal trip is 39ZS5Z. I am reaching out to request assistance for a name change on my booking due to unforeseen circumstances. I am willing to cover any additional fees for this service. This change is necessary as I have had to sell my tickets to a friend after no longer being able to attend the festival I was planning to visit. It would be greatly appreciated if my seat could be transferred to my friend's name. Thank you for your assistance.

Our original Montreal to Halifax to Deer Lake flights were cancelled by AC. After rebooking, I decided to cancel the entire trip due to no available rental cars. Both AC and Expedia assured me a full refund would be issued. I received a refund for the two return flight tickets, but not for all seat reservations. Despite booking all seats in advance, I haven't received refunds for the other three seat reservations per person for the remaining flights that were canceled. Expedia advised me to seek a refund through AC's website, which redirected me back to Expedia. I attempted to contact AC via phone, but the long wait time led me to hang up after 45 minutes.

On July 25th, [redacted], I made a reservation through Air Canada with booking reference #2GX58G. However, I have yet to receive a confirmation for this flight. When I called the reservation line, the customer service agent claimed to be from Air Canada. Despite my initial doubts due to irrelevant questions and frequent hold times, I proceeded with the booking. The agent requested a photo of my ID, which I refused to provide. After some insistence, he assured me the confirmation was on the way. Unfortunately, upon receipt, I couldn't find the tickets to download. I am reaching out to Air Canada to rectify this confusion and locate my reservation. Thank you. Sincerely, James

I am traveling with my son to Las Vegas with a layover in Toronto. I am unsure if I need a letter of consent from his mother. According to the Canadian government website, a letter of consent is necessary if Canada is our final destination, but I couldn't find any information on transiting to a third country. We will have a 5-hour layover in Toronto before continuing to the US, which does not require a letter of consent. Can anyone provide clarification on this matter?

I am requesting a receipt for my travel from Calgary, Alberta to Thunder Bay, Ontario on April 11th, [redacted] and returning from Thunder Bay to Calgary on May 16th, [redacted]. Unfortunately, I do not have a reservation or ticket number. My email addresses are [redacted] and [redacted] I contacted customer service, but they stated that without my reference number, booking number, or ticket number, a receipt cannot be provided. I find this frustrating as all flights have manifests, and my information should be retrievable by name and date. Kindly send me the receipt via email for my requested flights.

Subject: Assistance Needed with Luggage Mix-up Dear Team, I am reaching out regarding a luggage mix-up that occurred involving my mother, Shaista Shaheen, who arrived in Delhi on flight AC042 from Toronto on 7.8.[redacted] at 8.30 pm. Upon collecting her baggage, she mistakenly took a suitcase belonging to Harpreet Dhaliwal instead of her own. Shaista Shaheen's suitcase is described as medium-sized and brown. Attached are the relevant details, including her boarding pass and the barcode of the mistakenly taken suitcase. We kindly request your assistance in locating Shaista Shaheen's suitcase and facilitating the return of Harpreet Dhaliwal's suitcase. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards, Uves Ali Khan

I recently made a booking on the official airline website app and tried to adjust the final connecting point the next day. To my surprise, I noticed a "change it" option on each connecting flight row, leading to a "refund" link. Curious, I clicked it, revealing a cost of "2x total [redacted]." Assuming it was a processing fee or change cost, I proceeded, accidentally confirming a refund. Expecting $[redacted] deducted from $[redacted], I was shocked to find only $[redacted] left after a non-refundable deduction. Despite calling customer service thrice, waiting for hours, I couldn't reverse the situation. They directed me to email the customer relations department, which yielded no response even after escalating. This lack of assistance has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated, especially after investing time and effort in booking tickets for my parents.

I am traveling with a psychiatric service dog that I trained with Bark Busters. The flight was booked by Norweigan Cruise Lines, and I see on your website that self-trained service dogs are not allowed. I need to confirm if my dog's training will be accepted by Air Canada to ensure we can fly home without any issues. If you recognize this training, please provide me with a letter for airport verification. Thank you. - C. Ryan

I have flight credits that I was told were valid until February [redacted] by Expedia, but when I recently tried to use them, I was informed they expired in November [redacted]. This has caused a lot of trouble for me as I am working in Korea until next year. When I asked Expedia to hold the agent accountable for the misinformation, they directed me to Air Canada, as my credits are under their control. Expedia declined to assist further, stating that reaching out to Air Canada is not their policy. I urgently need to extend my flight credits, even by just a few months, especially considering the high cost of a flight from South Korea to NYC. I don't want my credits to go to waste. Can someone please advise on how I can go about extending them? Even a partial extension would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Claim # [redacted]-vlwoc4: My flight was cancelled due to a delay by Air Canada from Seoul, South Korea to New York. They overbooked, resulting in us being informed upon arrival in Toronto for our connecting flight to JFK that we were not on the manifest, despite having seat assignments. This error caused our baggage to be tagged for Toronto as the final destination. Our original flight from Toronto to New York was delayed nearly an hour and a half, preventing us from boarding and resulting in a delay of 15 hours and 55 minutes. This inconvenience left me without necessary medication or clean clothes and led to missing work the following day. While Air Canada offered a 20% discount on our next trip, their own interrupted trip information booklet indicates we should receive a refund for the disruption.

I recently experienced an issue with Air Canada regarding my paid luggage on a connecting flight from London Heathrow to Vancouver. Upon returning, despite having paid for two luggage bags, I was asked to pay again at Vancouver airport. Even after showing my ticket, I was still required to pay $[redacted].57 for the luggage. I was given a receipt and informed to request a refund. I can provide the luggage receipt if needed. Any assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am experiencing difficulty earning points in the Singapore Airlines Frequent Flyer Programme as my flight ticket number seems to be associated with the Air Canada Frequent Flyer programme. My Singapore e-ticket number is SQ-[redacted][redacted]. It has been indicated that Air Canada must release the number for me to utilize it with Singapore Airlines. The mention was made that the code starts with AC but no additional information was provided. Despite this, I did not travel with Air Canada. Would you kindly assist in releasing the number? Thank you.

I have two questions regarding my upcoming flight: 1. Can I bring both a personal bag and a carry-on bag? I read conflicting information about this based on the codesharing flight and the type of booking I have. I would appreciate clarification on the baggage policy for my specific booking. 2. During my layover between United Airlines and Air Canada, will I need to retrieve my checked bags before the connecting flight? I have a short layover of just 1 hour and I am concerned about the time it would take if I have to collect my bags. The website does not provide clear information, and the codeshare site is not helping either. As my flight is approaching within the 48-hour window, I would appreciate a prompt response.

Hello, I recently received a voucher due to a baggage issue on an Air Canada flight. I didn't use the voucher right away, and when I tried to redeem it, I found the website was no longer active. Although the voucher has no expiration date, I am now unable to use it. After speaking with a customer relations agent, I was advised to contact your office for assistance. I would greatly appreciate your guidance on how to redeem the voucher or possibly receive a new one. Should you need any further information, please feel free to reach out. You can also contact me at [redacted]. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Ryan M.

My partner and I had tickets reserved, but unfortunately, only she received one. I was told to fly tomorrow and had to pay an additional [redacted].98 Euros. Everything seemed fine with Eurowings, but the service said my flight is on Monday. I called but haven't received an email yet. Now, when I call, they hang up on me. I just want to know when I am flying from Düsseldorf to Montreal on Monday and get confirmation with the time. Thank you.

I recently had a flight with Lufthansa from ZRH to YUL. Unfortunately, our flight was delayed, causing us to miss our connecting flight with Air Canada, also booked through Lufthansa. Air Canada rescheduled our flight for the next day and mistakenly sent us to YTZ instead of YYZ, resulting in a delay of over 12 hours. As a result, I was without my luggage in a new country for 4 days, disrupting my entire schedule. I kindly request assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you.

My luggage, which has been delayed for two weeks, needs to be returned to me. The luggage was stuck in YYZ for over a week but has been sent to Montreal (YUL) where it currently is. The ticket number is [redacted] and has a GOL sticker due to an international connection. The luggage is grey with a zipper, has the letters TR on it, and is secured with a black strap, weighing 35kgs. I live at [redacted] Town Center Drive, Dearborn, Michigan, United States, in the Union at Dearborn building. It is crucial that I receive this luggage promptly. Thank you.

Subject: Concerns About Layover at Toronto Pearson International Airport - Help Needed Dear Air Canada Customer Service, I wanted to reach out regarding my upcoming flight scheduled for September 27th, [redacted]. My name is Eva Maria, and I have a layover at Toronto Pearson International Airport before heading to Montreal. As an immigrant, I have some paperwork and customs procedures to finalize upon entering Canada. With a two and a half hour layover in Toronto, I am worried about having enough time to complete all necessary processes, especially if there are unforeseen delays. I have a few questions: 1. What should I do if immigration and customs take longer than expected, potentially causing me to miss my connecting flight to Montreal? 2. Would my ticket face cancellation if I cannot board the connection due to delays? 3. Is it possible to rearrange my ticket or make alternative plans if I foresee challenges with the layover? I appreciate any advice or assistance you can offer to help me navigate this situation smoothly. My booking reference is UH6XG7. Thank you for your attention to this matter, Eva Maria

During my trip from Newfoundland to Malaga with 3 flights, I encountered a frustrating situation. The machine mistakenly issued the wrong boarding pass for my 3rd flight. When I arrived on time in Frankfurt to board the flight to Malaga, I was denied boarding by the machine due to the incorrect pass. Despite seeking assistance from staff, no one could provide an explanation or resolution. As a result, I had to wait for 7 hours for the next available flight, causing me to miss my marine flight to the ship for work. This led to additional overnight stays and two extra flights to reach the ship, without any compensation, vouchers, or human contact to address the issue.
