Hello,
My layover for my connecting flight is only 1 hour and 45 minutes, and I'm concerned about clearing customs in the United States during my stop in Canada. I fear it won't be enough time. What are the options if I miss my flight from Toronto to Dallas due to this tight schedule? I appreciate any help you can provide.
Thank you.

After flying from Calgary to Washington DC with Air Canada on December 17th, our two suitcases didn't arrive. We reported the issue and were expecting them to be delivered on December 19th. According to Air Canada's website, the suitcases were picked up and supposed to be delivered by a company called DC Provisions; however, their contact information is non-existent and they are not recognized by other delivery companies. This raises concerns that our luggage might have been mishandled or lost. Air Canada directed us to Where's My Suitcase, but the situation remains unresolved. We are seeking assistance on how to proceed with this troubling situation.

I am 80 years old and recently received my Visa bill in the mail. I realized I accidentally purchased two sets of return Air Canada plane tickets from Halifax to Tampa, Florida. The departure and return dates for both sets of tickets are January 3 and April 23, [redacted]. I noticed that the tickets were bought in US Dollars instead of Canadian. I kindly request a refund for the duplicate tickets.
Sincerely,

My sister in Curacao tested positive for Covid on December 11 before her departure. She received her results on December 12 and has been in quarantine since then. She is asymptomatic and will receive a releasing letter today from the Health department in Curacao stating she can leave. I am wondering about Air Canada's policy. Can she board the next available flight to Toronto, Ontario, or does she need to wait out the full 14-day quarantine period before flying? Thank you for any guidance on this matter.

To Whom It May Concern at Momondo and Air Canada,
I completed a booking this morning on Momondo.ca for a flight from Halifax NS to St. John’s NL on 12/23/[redacted] with a return on 12/26/[redacted]. The Booking Reference No: FSON587774. The reservation number provided by Air Canada is 3ZYBTW. The two payments were processed on my VISA by Air Canada, although the transaction was made through Momondo.
I have attempted to contact both companies to cancel this booking, and each is directing me to the other for cancellation. I am formally informing both of you now, so please take the necessary steps to cancel my flight booking. I tried to cancel within an hour but encountered difficulties, so I am now submitting a written cancellation within 24 hours of booking and well within the specified terms and conditions allowing for cancellations. This cancellation notice is being sent on December 22, [redacted]. I expect a refund for this booking within 15 days (by January 6). If the refund is not processed by then, I will escalate the matter with my bank.
I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and thank you for your assistance in resolving it.
Best Regards,
C. Piercey

My flight with Air Canada was delayed three times and eventually canceled. I went to the Air Canada customer service desk at YVR airport to request a refund or credit. Instead of assisting me there, they gave me a card to call customer support, which was frustrating. I called the number on the card and waited over 90 minutes without a response. After leaving a callback number, it took over three hours for them to call back. The whole experience was disappointing. While waiting, I received an email saying they booked me on a flight for the next day, without providing any accommodation. It was a challenging situation, as there was no offer for a hotel stay or any other assistance. Being handed a card to call while at the Air Canada customer service desk felt absurd and left me feeling let down by their service.

I recently took a flight with Air Canada from Halifax to Deer Lake using reference # 47QS0H. Upon boarding, I was informed I had been moved to a different seat than the one I pre-booked, 19F. I was relocated to seat 4F at the front of the aircraft due to a child being seated near my original assigned spot. I have experienced this seat change scenario multiple times as I typically choose seats at the back of the plane. When I select my seat in advance, I expect to keep that seat without issues. I hope to receive a travel voucher for the inconvenience caused by this situation.

Dear Concern,
I hope this message finds you well.
My entire family holds Canadian citizenship. Currently, my 4-year-old son suffers from severe allergies to peanuts, all tree nuts, and dairy, and occasionally experiences allergic reactions due to environmental factors. I am in the process of planning a trip to tropical Bangladesh. Are there any international flights that have a doctor onboard? Alternatively, is there a way to request medical support in advance of our travel? While my son is typically healthy and does not always experience allergic reactions, we want to be prepared in case immediate assistance is required.
I eagerly await your response and guidance on this matter. If you are unable to assist, kindly provide me with the correct contact details for the appropriate department.
Best regards,

1 - My name is misspelled.
2 - I am in China, so calling at the right time is difficult, and waiting 15 minutes to talk to someone is expensive.
3 - I emailed Air Canada, who replied with "Your case number is: CAS-[redacted]-X6K4J9," but then nothing. What a joke, this customer service.
4 - My date is coming soon, and I really need to make the change. Who can I speak to during the weekend or after 6 p.m.?
5 - Live chat would be great, or a real email service...
6 - I booked with Aeroplan, but how do I talk to them?
Help!!!

I have not yet received the refund for the travel I had scheduled for April 28th, [redacted], which was subsequently canceled. On January 26th, [redacted], I changed the ticket to an 'Air Canada Travel Voucher #[redacted][redacted]'. When Air Canada decided to issue cash refunds, I requested the cash refund and received confirmation.
Case Number: CAS-[redacted]-T1X2R5
While waiting for the refund, I attempted to use the amount to book a ticket for my wife's trip to Korea, but it was declined due to the ongoing refund process. Despite multiple complaints, all I received was a single email offering a promo code for 20% off a future trip, which we might not even use.
I seek clarification on the reason for the delay in the refund process and the expected timeline for receiving the refund.

I missed my flight on December 9 due to a time mix-up. I ended up purchasing a more expensive ticket for the same flight the next day to reach my destination. I am currently trying to obtain a refund, but my agent has refused and requested written proof from the company to proceed with the refund. The initial ticket cost was [redacted],[redacted] Indian Rupees, and I had to spend an additional 2 lakh for the new ticket. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you for your help.

I had a flight on November 22nd, [redacted], from Sault Ste Marie (YAM) to Toronto (YYZ). Unfortunately, it got canceled due to a storm. The next available flight was set for the next day, which was not feasible for me as I had an international flight to India on the same day. My original flight was supposed to depart at 6 pm, and my connecting flight to New Delhi, India, was scheduled for 9 pm. I requested a rebooking, but there were no available flights to India until the following week, which would interfere with my plans for my brother's wedding and final exams. I opted for a refund since my travel agency handled the booking. The agency requires proof from Air Canada confirming the cancellation. I have spent approximately $[redacted] on this round trip and would appreciate any assistance available. Thank you, Bansi.

I am unvaccinated and have a family emergency in Romania. I recently obtained a negative PCR test for work, which is also valid for travel purposes. I purchased a ticket with Turkish Airlines, meeting their requirement of a negative PCR test for travel. Romania also mandates a negative PCR test. Despite these precautions and the emergency nature of my travel, I was informed I need a medical clearance code in the airport system to board, and I must contact the airport as the staff on-site cannot assist. I urgently need guidance on how to acquire this clearance without having been vaccinated. It's crucial I reach my husband promptly in Romania to provide care.

To Whom It May Concern,
I am reaching out about adjusting my return flight itinerary for Julia Jones and Anne Jones. Currently, our route includes a layover in Frankfurt, but I would like to switch to a direct flight. Additionally, I am interested in exploring the possibility of changing the return date from the 4th to the 8th.
Unfortunately, I have encountered difficulties modifying these details online. The system does not allow me to change the date and continues to suggest routes via Frankfurt, which is not my preference. Despite multiple attempts, I keep receiving a message stating: "It's not possible right now to select travel options for this booking online. Please call your travel agent or Air Canada ReservationsOpens in a new window for assistance."
I am currently unable to find a suitable contact number for assistance from the UK. I kindly request prompt communication, preferably today or by tomorrow at the latest, as I require urgent resolution on this matter. Thank you in advance for your prompt attention to this request.

I flew from Liberia to Toronto on December 29, [redacted], in business class on flight [redacted]. Unfortunately, we experienced several issues during the journey:
1) There was no priority line at immigration or security, and we were denied entry to the VIP lounge without any explanation.
2) Our seats were changed from 1A and 1C to 4A and C with no explanation. We had chosen these seats due to my husband's height and health concerns.
3) The entree we selected was unavailable by the time it reached us, and we had to settle for a chicken dish despite not eating meat.
4) A situation involving a flight attendant and a passenger in economy class led to confusion and disruption in the cabin.
Overall, the experience was extremely unsatisfactory, and we will consider flying with different airlines in the future.

Hello. I work as a travel agent in Australia. I have a client scheduled to depart on January 4th from Sydney to Vancouver and then Toronto with Air Canada. The client's name is Isabella Rae Lopes de Oliveira. She is a ballet dancer, and her school informed her today that it will not reopen in Toronto until January 9th. After checking, I found available flights on the same class and route. I would like to know the specific code to input into my SABRE system to make these flight changes. Also, could you please clarify if there will be any additional fees involved in this change? Thank you, Tony.

I have a ticket for a connecting flight from Montreal to Vancouver to Victoria on late night Jan 4. However, due to the BC education government delaying school restart to Jan 10, I can't return early to my boarding school, which won't accept students until Jan 8. I need to change my flight to Jan 8 or 9. When booking, it stated my ticket is not changeable or refundable, but this situation is due to policy, not personal reasons. I'd like to inquire if Air Canada can accommodate changing my flight dates. Thank you. The booking reference is 598CUL.

We need to make a change to our upcoming flight. Our daughter is currently booked on flight AC [redacted] from Vancouver to Montreal on January 3, [redacted], departing at 4:55 pm. Unfortunately, she will not be able to fly due to recent exposure to COVID-19. As Air Miles is closed over the weekend, we are unable to contact them directly.
We want to inform Air Canada that her seat will be vacant and can be assigned to another passenger. Additionally, we would like to reschedule her flight for January 23, [redacted], on flight AC [redacted] from YVR to YUL, departing at 8:45 am and arriving at 4:21 pm.
