My account was compromised last year and used for cheating in games while I was locked out. I have since regained control but unfortunately, due to the actions of the hacker, my account was banned. I invested money into the game and would like to continue playing. The ban appeal has been processed and the decision is final. I am unable to overturn the ban. The affected games are "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War," "Call of Duty: Warzone," and "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare." It has been determined that unauthorized software was used on the account, resulting in the ban. I've heard that some legitimate players were mistakenly banned recently, possibly due to a ban wave on Aug. 25th or the new season update. Personally, I think it might be related to the update since I played on the 27th, bought the battle pass, and then woke up banned the next day. I want to emphasize that I have never cheated and my low KD reflects my lack of skill rather than any unfair advantage. It's frustrating to be wrongly banned and miss out on playing with my friends. I believe there was an issue with the anti-cheat system that led to this mistake. Despite appealing the ban, I received a fast auto-reply stating it was due to software on my computer, which I find hard to believe given that my computer is new. My gaming experience has always been free of hacking, and encountering hackers in the game has always been a negative experience for me. I sincerely hope for my account to be reinstated and to be able to enjoy playing Warzone with my friends again.

Hello! Last week while playing Gorod Krovi with my friend, we reached round 33 when the host disconnected, causing a connection interruption and kicking us out of the game. Although the round is on the leaderboards, I'm frustrated that it didn't register on my combat record. Today, a similar incident occurred when we reached round 35, and again the host's departure led to a connection issue, removing us from the game. While it's recorded on the leaderboards, my combat record doesn't reflect these achievements. This repeated problem is really bothering me. I've tried to submit a support ticket, but the Activision website seems to be down. I hope you can assist in updating my combat record to show the rounds I've completed. Thank you for your help.

I enjoy playing COD, but I often find unrealistic elements in the game puzzling. For instance, the ability to quick scope with sniper rifles or perform physically impossible feats like jumping out of a window and scoring a headshot. While I understand that it is just a video game, I believe the basic mechanics of firearms should be respected. Many of my friends share this sentiment, and we struggle to reconcile the game's liberties with gun ownership experience. It's not about being the best player but maintaining a level of realism. I don't intend to spoil anyone's enjoyment, but a touch of authenticity would be appreciated.

I participated in the beta with my friends but uninstalled the game because of encountering aimbots. When they convinced me to give it another try, I faced the same issue and uninstalled it again. To my surprise, after not playing on the last day of the beta, I woke up to find my account banned for alleged modification of game files. This is frustrating because I never cheated; I stopped playing due to cheaters. I am extremely disappointed with this situation. My Steam account, which is nearly 10 years old, contains approximately [redacted] games, including almost every COD title, and $[redacted] worth of in-game cosmetics from other games. Now, I have this unjust ban on my account for something I did not do. I urge the authorities to review these bans as I believe many other innocent players have also been affected.

After numerous unsuccessful attempts to reach Activision, I am at my wit's end. Approximately 8-12 months ago, I uninstalled Warzone and Cold War to free up space on my Xbox. However, after a break, my friend convinced me to return to the game last Friday (10-7-22). Upon downloading the game and trying to connect to the server, I was shocked to discover that I had been permanently banned from playing. Despite filing an appeal stating my innocence of any wrongdoing, the response mentioned "Unauthorized Software." I purchased the game from the Microsoft Store upon its release and have always abided by the rules. Unfortunately, I am unable to speak to a live representative through the provided number, and the live chat is currently inaccessible with no estimation of when it will be back online. I have exhausted all possible avenues to resolve this issue without success. Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I believe my account was mistakenly banned. According to customer support, I was accused of using illegal software while playing a game that I purchased legally. The game was a gift from a friend, and I only played it for about 10 minutes before being blocked by support. They mentioned it was because of unofficial software, but I did not use any. For the past 9 years, I've been using my old email account to play games, but I never updated it with two-factor security. Today, when I tried to log into COD Warzone, I discovered my account was gone. I had invested a lot of time and money into this account, including purchasing COD points. My hacked Activision account, [redacted], was compromised. I have since changed it to my new email, [redacted] However, this reset all my progress across all platforms since the game data was tied to my old email. I hope to have my account restored soon. I am attempting to unlink an Xbox account from an Activision account. I created a Gmail for the Activision account but do not remember the password or have access to the email. I can still sign in through Xbox, but to unlink, I need a code that is sent to the Gmail account, which I cannot access. I am seeking guidance on how to reach Activision's Security team regarding a hardware ban I received for a camo swap glitch in Warzone that carried over to the MWII BETA. Despite my attempts to appeal through their ban appeal page and provide evidence that I did not intend to disrupt the game significantly, I have not received a satisfactory response. I am frustrated that a minor offense like a camo swap glitch resulted in a hardware ban when it should have led to a ban in Warzone only. The discrepancy between my actions and the severity of the punishment leads me to request a review of my case by the Security team. I recently received an unjust ban from Activision. A few days ago, I was playing the story mode of their new game MW2 when my account was permanently banned. I contacted them but received an email this morning stating that the ban was due to using unauthorized software and manipulating game data. The ban will not be lifted. I'm requesting a refund as I purchased the expensive "Vault Edition" for EUR99.99. I feel frustrated by this situation as it seems unfair.

I'd like to inquire about receiving a refund for all the items I bought in Call of Duty since my preferred map, Rebirth Island, is being removed. I primarily play on this map, and now that it's no longer available, I would like to get my money back for the purchases I've made. I don't play on Caldera due to the high number of cheaters, and it seems there hasn't been effective action taken to address this issue. Even watching support members on YouTube trying to catch cheaters reveals they sometimes choose not to ban them. My account shows that I have been permanently banned, but I have never used hacks or cheats. I pre-ordered the $[redacted] version of Call of Duty on September 22, and there was no mention of a ban. Suddenly, on the day of release, I encountered a ban message when I tried to start the game. I swear I have never used cheats on my PC, I simply play a lot and practice. I believe I was unfairly banned in Call of Duty Warzone. Approximately six months ago, upon starting my computer, I discovered that my Call of Duty account had been banned. I was shocked since I have not engaged in any illegal activities, cheating, or anything other than simply playing the game. Despite reaching out to Activision multiple times, their responses have been unhelpful, stating this situation is beyond their control or authority. I have requested them to review my profile, gameplay, and account details, as a closer look would reveal that this ban is unjust and likely a system error. I have dedicated countless hours to this game, earned all mastery camos, and spent a significant amount on in-game purchases, only to be banned without cause. I am willing to provide any necessary information for them to review my case but it seems they are unwilling to acknowledge any flaws in their system. I am confused about why I got shadow-banned again. Many others face shadow bans for no reason, and now it happened to me. I play fairly with no suspicion in my style, yet I am banned. Do you review gameplay to ensure the system is not faulty before banning players? It is frustrating that my tickets go unanswered. I recently purchased the full version of Modern Warfare but cannot play due to the shadow ban. I do not understand why this happened to me. I invested my money in this game only to encounter this issue. Waiting for a response feels uncertain since my first ticket was ignored. I am disappointed with this situation.

How can a game be released in such an unfinished state? The bugs in Call of Duty Modern Warfare [redacted] are absolutely unacceptable. If you release a game, please make sure it's complete. If it's meant to only run on PS5, then release it solely for the PS5 and not for the PS4 just to squeeze more money out of players. If I worked like this, I would have lost my job ten times over. This level of poor quality has never been seen before. And before any random responses come in asking how it runs on the console... Well, then release it only for the current version. How can one be so incompetent? Not so kind regards from a former COD fan of 15 years who will definitely not continue due to your incompetence.
