I recently purchased a PC and had a max-level account for Warzone and Cold War on Xbox. I wanted to transfer my progress to my PC, so I installed Warzone on Blizzard and set up a Blizzard account. However, when I launched the game, it created a new Activision account. I tried linking my Xbox and Steam accounts to the Blizzard account on their website, but when I returned to the game, it was still the new account. Now, my Xbox account also shows as level one with the new account. I need help retrieving my old account on both my Xbox and PC. My friends still see my old account on their friends list, so it seems it was not deleted. I have no email associated with the Activision account created when I downloaded Warzone on Xbox, making it impossible to log back in. Any assistance in recovering my original account would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I have already communicated via private messages with Activision Support on Twitter, but unfortunately, they were unable to assist me. I am reaching out here today because while attempting to play Black Ops: Cold War, I found myself consistently matched with cheaters, which led me to suspect that I may have been "shadowbanned." Subsequently, I decided to discontinue playing. However, a few hours later, I was surprised to discover that I had been issued a permanent ban from the game. I informed Activision Support that I contest this ban as I believe it to be unjustified. Despite my inquiries, they have only provided vague responses stating that there is no available information regarding my ban. I am willing to escalate this matter further, possibly by sending a formal letter with all necessary details if required. Being denied the ability to play as a paying customer without violating any terms of service appears to be a violation of consumer rights. I am prepared to seek legal counsel to address this issue if necessary. My primary goal is to understand the rationale behind the ban and assess its legality. Best regards, LibertyStorm / LibertyUwG

I have been a Call of Duty player for nearly a decade, purchasing various in-game content and the games themselves. I have always played fairly, refraining from cheating and offensive messages. Recently, I tried Call of Duty on PC for the first time, starting with Modern Warfare, only to discover I was permanently banned one day. I attempted to appeal via phone but was unsuccessful. When I started playing Cold War, which I had just bought, after a month of gameplay, a similar glitch occurred, resulting in another permanent ban upon trying to join a public match. I have never used cheat software or violated any rules. It is concerning that such actions were taken without clear reasons or communication from the company. As an honest player, being unfairly banned feels like a loss of both money spent and countless hours invested in the game.

I encountered an issue while playing Call of Duty Mobile. I lost a Battle Royale game due to a connection problem. Upon restarting the game, I was shocked to see that my account has been banned. It has been more than 12 hours since I reached out to you on Twitter, but unfortunately, I haven't received any response yet. I am unsure why this ban occurred as I did not engage in any hacking activities or unusual behavior. I have even invested money in the game for the first time and I am eager to continue playing with my friends. The account username is MemeQ_@[redacted].

I recently tried to log onto Cold War after being away for some time only to discover that my Activision account has been banned either permanently or for [redacted] days. There have been no instances of cheating, boosting, or inappropriate language on my account. In fact, I had a negative encounter with another player who belittled my "Black Lives Matter" clan tag, stating that black lives don't matter. I have not engaged in any cheating activities and occasionally use a mouse and keyboard setup with my Series X, which is permitted.

I've faced this issue a few times before and usually fixed it on my own. However, this time it seems like my COD: Mobile account keeps logging me out. I've been using Facebook to log back in, but now it freezes every time I tap the Facebook login button. I have attempted to delete my Facebook cache, delete and reinstall both Facebook and COD: Mobile, but none of it has worked. I'm worried about losing all my progress due to this frustrating bug!

Last night, I attempted to play Cold War but was prompted to sign into my Activision account. Despite trying various passwords associated with my account, none were successful. I even attempted to recover my password via email with no luck. Following online guidance, I created a new Activision account to fill out an Account Recovery Form. However, upon signing in, I discovered all my progress in Cold War, Warzone, and Modern Warfare was lost. This included camos, challenges, operators, levels, and significant in-game achievements. As a devoted Call of Duty player since Modern Warfare 2, I have invested countless hours in the game. The loss of my progress has been disheartening, and I sincerely hope for the restoration of my hard-earned items.

Last night, I tried to access Cold War, but I was prompted to sign into my Activision account again, which seemed odd. Despite trying different passwords, none worked, so I attempted to recover my password via email without success. After searching for solutions, I found an Account Recovery Form that required me to create a new Activision account and submit the form. Upon signing in, I discovered that all my progress was lost - camos, challenges, operators, levels, everything across Cold War, Warzone, and Modern Warfare. This loss is heartbreaking as I've dedicated countless hours to these games since Modern Warfare 2, and I'm a passionate fan. I would greatly appreciate it if my hard-earned progress could be restored.

While playing Zombies in Cold War, my friend, who goes by Vuilt Adequately, got unexpectedly logged out of his Activision account. He received an email stating that the email associated with the account was changed. We've invested countless hours into the game, and he even achieved Damascus in Modern Warfare after spending over $[redacted] on in-game purchases. Unfortunately, the hacker not only reset his level but also removed him from our regiment, making it hard to locate the account. He can provide evidence to verify his ownership, and our entire regiment can confirm his identity. We'd greatly appreciate any assistance in retrieving his account.

My main account was hacked in October. I completed the recovery steps and received support ticket number [redacted]54. I am looking for an update on my account's status. Activision Support emailed me on November 18 requesting more time for investigation. I have been playing on a temporary account since and finished season 6 of the Battle Pass. I am concerned about merging both accounts to retain my progress and investments in the game. Playing since the release in October [redacted], I have dedicated a lot of time and money to my accounts. The original email linked to my account was [redacted], and the new one is [redacted] I followed the website's instructions to create the temporary account during the recovery process.

I have encountered the shadow ban issue on Warzone multiple times and successfully cleared it each time. I feel frustrated by having to go through this process repeatedly, especially after playing well and being reported for cheating. I am not a hacker, as proven by my cleared status and available game footage. I am seeking assistance to be placed on an all clear list or to have an expedited review process in place to prevent future inconvenience. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I'm having trouble with my Call of Duty Modern Warfare Digital Game on Xbox Live. It won't connect, and although other games work, I can't access the campaign or other modes as it says I'm missing the DLC. I've checked my downloads, and they're all there according to the Queue and the Microsoft Store. I've tried reinstalling it several times with no luck. My Xbox is wired, and I need help getting the game to work or getting a refund if it's not fixable.

My son bought Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, but he can't access his account as it seems to have been hacked. He noticed the hacker's email address as [redacted] on the screen. Despite trying to contact Activision via email and live chat, he hasn't received any response. I need immediate assistance to resolve this matter promptly.

I bought Cold War on PC, and the game prompted me to play Warzone for calling cards. I relented and launched Warzone only to find out my levels from Xbox were missing. To fix this, I connected my Xbox account with my Blizzard account. While I got my Warzone levels back, I lost progress in Cold War. I would really appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue.

I am requesting a refund for my Cold War game due to the frustrating experience I had while playing it tonight. Despite being a level 16 player with no previous games linked to my account, I was consistently matched with level [redacted]+ players. This resulted in an unfair gameplay situation where I struggled to leave the spawn area and secure kills due to my less equipped weapons. The lack of skill-based matchmaking made the game unenjoyable for me. I believe players like Nadeshot should face opponents of similar skill level instead of dominating lower-skilled players, like myself, which ruins the fun and leisure I seek in gaming. I apologize for my frustration, but I genuinely want the opportunity to improve my skills in a fair gaming environment.

I have been banned for glitching into a wall in the game. This happened because I encountered a hacker with 49 kills who repeatedly killed me. I resorted to using the glitch to hide from the hacker. However, now I have been banned from the game. I have invested a significant amount of money, over [redacted] pounds, into this game, and it is disheartening to have it all taken away. Despite reporting the hacker, they are still playing Call of Duty. I acknowledge my mistake in glitching but I did so with good intentions to combat the hacker and not to disrupt others' gameplay. As a long-time player, I used the glitch solely to address the issue at hand and not for personal gain like XP boosting. Is there any possibility of appealing this ban?

I have been banned from the game because I glitched into a wall. I did this because there was a hacker in the game who had 49 kills. I encountered the hacker, then won in the Gulag, but when I respawned, the hacker started shooting at me. I tried to hide using the glitch to stay in the wall, which led to my ban. I have invested a significant amount, over [redacted] pounds, in this game, and losing it all is disheartening. Despite reporting the hacker, they are still playing. I acknowledge using the glitch once, but I only did so because of the hacker's presence. I eliminated the hacker and reported them multiple times. Though the hacker tried to get me banned, I received the ban instead. As a devoted Call of Duty player, I don't believe this punishment is justified, as I only used the glitch in an attempt to benefit other players and make the game enjoyable.

I recently purchased Call of Duty: Cold War, and two days ago, I encountered an issue with the trial version of Blackout and Zombies ending abruptly, prompting me to buy the full version. I initially bought the $70 cross-gen bundle, expecting it to include Zombies. However, the game's glitchiness and the confusion over the included content have left me disappointed. When I try to purchase the full version, nothing happens, and I am unable to progress beyond the start screen. I assumed it was due to the game's many issues, but after two days of it not working, I'm seeking assistance to resolve this matter. Thank you for your attention.

This morning, I woke up eager to continue playing Cold War after a fun night with my friends. However, when I tried to log in, I was shocked to find out that my account had been permanently banned for no apparent reason. My username, "Budlight," was not offensive, and I never engage in any form of online harassment. I have invested nearly four days of gameplay into this account, and losing it is truly disappointing. I hope to have my account reinstated soon.

Hi there! I encountered a problem with my Activision account being banned due to an inappropriate name. My friend altered it while I wasn't watching, and now I have no tokens left to modify it back. The ban is for [redacted] years, and I would be grateful if you could assist in lifting it. I've invested a significant amount in this game and reaching prestige 3 on my main account. I hope to continue enjoying it.
