On July 30, [redacted], I attempted to purchase gas in Valparaiso using my debit card, only to have it declined. After calling 1st Source Bank, I was informed that my debit card had been deactivated due to an overdraft on an old savings account. Despite owning multiple accounts with a healthy balance, my accounts were locked over a small overdraft of $2.79. After a frustrating phone call with a representative, the issue was resolved within an hour. However, a week later, I received a letter threatening account closure and credit reporting due to the same $2.79 overdraft. This callous action left me feeling betrayed after being a loyal customer for over 15 years. The lack of communication and transparency from the bank regarding this matter has eroded my trust in their services. As soon as my new accounts are set up elsewhere, I am severing ties with 1st Source Bank.
