An important note: busy times vs hold times vs best time to call
When we refer to busy or less busy times, we are talking about the volume of calls. The busiest times are when the most people are calling this Motorola phone number (least busy times have fewer people calling). This high call volume does not necessarily mean that you will have a long hold time when you call. Companies like Motorola staff their call centers differently based on the time of day and day of the week, so you may experience a shorter wait on hold at the busiest of times. When we refer to the best time to call, we are referring to the optimal combination of lower call volume and shorter wait times.

Calling this Motorola Customer Number

May 20, 2024

This number appears to be more of a directory as opposed to a way to get technical support. When I called this number on two different occasions, I was redirected to a different number that I could call for help with my issue as opposed to actually assisting me with my issue.

On the first attempt, I was taken to the main menu and asked if I was calling about the phone number that I was calling from. I said that I was and was told that I could go online to get assistance from Molly, Motorola's virtual assistant. I was then asked what I was calling about, with choices of smart phone, accessory or something else. I said that it was something else and was taken to a second menu, where I selected home and office phones.

I was told that in order to get help with this issue, I would need to call a different number (1-833-468-1468) dedicated to support with home and office phones. I was then asked if I wanted to hear the information again by pressing 1. If I did not press 1, the system would automatically hang up after a few seconds.

I tried the same call again, this time saying that I was calling about accessories. Again, the system took me to a menu where it gave me another number that I could call to get assistance with my issue. It didn't provide any option to get connected elsewhere; it simply asked me if I needed the information repeated and then thanked me for calling before hanging up.

This number does serve a purpose, but it's not great at getting you the information you need unless you don't know which phone number you need to call. Once I had that information, I wouldn't use this number.
