Walmart, the U.S.-based multinational retail giant, has put the same effort into its online presence as it has to their brick-and-mortar locations. So, it should came as no surprise that cancelling orders from Walmart.com is a quick, simple, and painless process.
Walmart.com begins processing your order as soon as possible once you place your order. So the sooner you cancel your order, the better chance you have of cancelling your order. Walmart.com orders can be processed while they are in a Processing status. However, once it changes to a Shipped status, your Walmart order cannot be changed or cancelled. In this case, you can return your unwanted items in accordance with Walmart's returns policy.

How Do I Cancel A Walmart Order?
- Login to Your Account at the top right corner of the Walmart.com homepage.
- Locate the order that you wish to cancel on your main Walmart.com account page and click the Track Order link.
- If it's still possible to cancel your order, you'll notice that the order is in a Processing status. Additionally, you'll see a Request Cancellation button on your Order Details page.
- Click Request Cancellation next to the order or item you wish to cancel and follow any remaining prompts.
- Once your Walmart.com order is successfully cancelled, you will receive a cancellation email from Walmart.com
If your Walmart.com order status is Shipped, and/or there is no Request Cancellation link, your Walmart.com order is already being shipped and cannot be canceled. Proceed to the next section to see how to return your Walmart.com order.
How Do I Return A Walmart Order?
If your Walmart.com order has already shipped, you can return your Walmart.com order for a refund either in store or by mail.
Note that items must be returned within 90 days of order or purchase to be eligible for a return or refund.
Return Your Walmart.com Order By Mail
- Login to Your Account at the top right corner of the Walmart.com homepage.
- Locate Purchase History and find the item you wish to return.
- Select Start a Return or See Details.
- Select Return or Replace in Order Details. (Note that only items eligible for return have this option.)
- Select the item(s) to be returned.
- Choose the reason for your return.
- When presented the option to return or replace, select return.
- Select Return to Store.
- Select Finish.
- Select Print Barcode to print the Store Returns receipt.
- Bring bring the items, with all original packing materials and accessories, along with the Store Return receipt you printed to your local Walmart's Customer Service desk to return your item(s) for a full refund.
Return Your Walmart.com Order In Store
- Login to Your Account at the top right corner of the Walmart.com homepage.
- Locate Purchase History and find the item you wish to return.
- Select Start a Return or See Details.
- Select Return or Replace in Order Details. (Note that only items eligible for return have this option.)
- Select the item(s) to be returned.
- Choose the reason for your return.
- When presented the option to return or replace, select return.
- Select Return by Mail.
- Select Finish.
- Print your return label and attach it the the box your item(s) was shipped to you in. Package up your item and accessories, and then return to a FedEx or USPS location.
- Returning your item by mail takes 2-3 weeks in most cases.
