How Do I Recover My RushCard Account?

As a Rush cardholder, you have several options when it comes to recovering your account. The easiest option is to simply call customer service. This option may be more helpful to people with limited access to information regarding their Rush account. A customer service representative may be able to use other identifying information to find your account and determine why you can't access it. If you have access to identifying information about your Rush car, you may be able to recover your account by going online and getting information regarding why your account needs to be recovered. You may need to provide information about a transaction or some other issue. The chat option can be helpful as well if you can't log in. Rush also provides customers with an online option to retrieve an account if all they have is their Rush card information. You would simply enter your card number, expiration date, CVV number, and social security number. This method would pull up your account information which will help in the recovery process.

If you find that you are unable to access your Rush card there are steps that you can take to recover your account. The first step is to determine why and take restorative actions after you find out why you can't access your Rush card account.

Call Customer Service
When in doubt, call customer service. Customer service will ask you for identifying information, find your Rush account, and let you know what's going on with it. Depending on what the problem is, customer service may have you provide information or take other measures so that your card can be restored. However, the steps or measures that you're asked to take or that are taken on your behalf, will be based on what issues or problems have caused your card account to lock or become inaccessible.

Go Online
You may also be able to restore your account by going online to get information about any issues or problems with your account. If you can log in, you may have a message or a flag regarding your account. There may be transactions that need to be verified or some other activity that has been flagged and caused your card to lock to prevent possible fraudulent activity. You may be asked to verify a transaction or produce some sort of proof that may recover your account.

Retrieve Account Option
This option can be extremely helpful for Rush cardholders who want to retrieve their account but only have their card information. You can go online and access the retrieve account option on the Rush website. You will be able to enter your Rush card number, your CVV number, expiration date, and social security number to retrieve your account. Once you can retrieve your account you can take further steps to recover your account if more is required.

Use the Chat Option
If you cant log in to your account, you may be able to get help by using the chat function. Chat is similar to customer service but it's online. You can explain your situation to a chat agent who can look up your account and offer help. This step may be beneficial if you can't log in to your account for one reason or another. This step may be helpful if you don't have access to all the information you need. Calling customer service directly can also help if you don't have access to all the information you need regarding your Rush card.
