Fiverr users get notifications when they receive messages, order updates, rating reminders or buyer briefs. They're also given the option to turn off these notifications. If you don't like to receive notifications from Fiverr, read further to learn how to turn them off. 

Turning Off Fiverr Notifications on the Website

Fiverr notifications usually appear on the lower right corner of your web screen. You can turn them off using the steps below:

  1. Log in to your Fiverr account. 
  2. Click your profile and scroll to Settings. 
  3. Click Notifications on the left side of the Settings page. 
  4. Uncheck the box next to the notification type. If you don't want to get ANY notifications, scroll down to Real-Time Notifications and disable real-time notifications by clicking the small green circle.
  5. You may also disable the notification sound by clicking on the small green circle right next to it. 
  6. Click Save Changes. 

How to Turn Off Fiverr Notifications Using the Mobile App

You can also turn off email notifications using the web app. Follow the steps below:

  1. Open the app and tap on your profile. 
  2. Tap Preferences and then tap Notifications. 
  3. Tap the small green circle next to the type of notifications you want to turn off. 
  4. You can turn off order messages, order updates, rating reminders and inbox messages. 

If you have the app on your phone, keep in mind that you may still receive push notifications. You can turn off Fiverr push notifications on your phone's Settings.

Can You Also Turn Off Your Online Status on Fiverr?

You'll know a Fiverr user is online by looking for the small green circle next to the username. This status is also visible on Fiverr Conversations, Gig pages, Profile or advanced search pages. If you're a buyer, you can filter results according to who is online. 

If you're a seller and want to turn off your online status account on Fiverr, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your account and click on your profile. 
  2. Hit Settings and then Account. 
  3. Under Online Status, select how long you'll want to stay invisible or offline. You can choose one hour, one day, one week or indefinitely. 
  4. Click Save Changes. 
  5. Repeat the same process if you want to go online. Just click Go Online from the drop-down menu.

What if I Don't Want to Receive Notifications in the Future?

You also have the option to permanently close your account if you no longer want to do business with Fiverr. To do this, you'll have to deactivate your account first. However, make sure to withdraw all funds, as you won't be able to deactivate your account if there are pending funds. 

After account deactivation, contact Fiverr and ask them to close your account permanently. Keep in mind that you won't be able to reverse this process.
