How Do I Close My Account on BitMart?

When you are ready to close your BitMart account, you must email customer support with your user ID, email address, and the reason for closing and deleting your account. Make sure all balances in your Host Wallet are at zero at the time you request a closure. Once the account is deleted, you will not be able to reopen the account. If you return to BitMart, you will need to open a new account.

As a BitMart account holder, you want to close your account if you are no longer trading cryptocurrency. How do you close your account on BitMart? Closing Your BitMart Account

Before you close your BitMart account, make sure you have withdrawn all funds or cryptocurrency you earned. Also, ensure you've paid all the fees you owe and have a zero balance in your Host Wallet at the time you close and delete your account. To close your account, follow these steps:

  1. Open your email associated with your BitMart account.
  2. Click on "Compose Message."
  3. Email BitMart at support@bitmart.com to request the closure and deletion of your account. When composing your email, include the following:
    • In the subject line, type "Close and Delete My BitMart Account".
    • In the body of the email, include your user ID, email address, and the reason you are closing your account.
    • Address any funds that may be in the account. Remember, any balances should have been taken care of prior to closing the account.
  4. Once you've sent the email, monitor you inbox for the response confirming that your account has been closed and deleted.

Points to Consider

When composing your email, consider the following:

  1. It takes several days after you send the email to hear back from BitMart.
  2. Once your account is closed and deleted, you cannot reopen the account. If you wish to return to BitMart, you must create a new account.
  3. BitMart may close your account if there is a breach of the service agreement. If this happens, you will be notified of the suspension/closure and the reason why, unless the notification is prohibited by law.
  4. You will have 90 days after your account is deactivated to withdraw any funds or cryptocurrency from your Host Wallet, unless prohibited by law.
