Removing a Line Over the Phone

To remove a line over the phone, follow these steps:

  1. Call AT&T customer support here.
  2. Complete each step in the prompts that you hear when you call customer support. These prompts will include entering the phone number you are calling about and possibly your account number or social security number to verify identity.
