Can I bring a musical instrument on board with Wizz Air?

Asked 2 years ago
Wizz Air does allow passengers to bring musical instruments on board, however, there are specific guidelines to follow. If a musical instrument is small enough to fit within the dimensions of the cabin baggage allowance, it can be carried into the cabin. Wizz Air's current cabin baggage policy permits one piece of cabin baggage with a maximum size of 40 cm x 30 cm x 20 cm. Therefore, smaller instruments, such as a violin or a small guitar, may be acceptable provided they fit within these measurements. For larger instruments that exceed the cabin baggage dimensions, Wizz Air recommends purchasing an extra seat to ensure the instrument can be securely seated. It is essential to ensure that the instrument is properly packed and secured for transport, as Wizz Air is not responsible for any damages that may occur to instruments while in transit. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, it is always advisable to check the baggage policy on the official Wizz Air website before traveling, as regulations may change.
