If you suddenly find that you can't get the Boost Mobile wireless service coverage, you probably want to help get it up and running again right away. To do that, you have to make Boost Mobile aware of the problem, so it can start the repair process as quickly as possible. Before you do that, though, there are some other things you need to check on first. After all, the problem might not actually be a service outage.
If you have an important call to make before your service can be repaired, you can always try borrowing somebody else's phone. If that isn't possible, try to use wi-fi calling on your phone. Wi-fi calling lets you use your wi-fi connection to make calls. So, if you still have wi-fi data you haven't used up yet, you can still make your call. This might be the only way you can report the outage. To turn wi-fi calling on, go to the Settings menu.
Set wi-fi calling as your backup calling method, so you can always easily use your phone even in case of an outage.
It makes sense to see if your phone is the source of the problem, instead of a service outage, before reporting a service outage. It is possible that you forgot to turn off airplane mode after your last flight, or that an update accidentally switched it on. If it is in airplane mode, turn it off.
If it is, switch it off.
This can solve a surprising number of problems.
