In a nutshell: If you experience issues with Simple Mobile service, first verify if the problem stems from your phone or an actual outage. Check your phone's settings, such as Do Not Disturb or airplane mode, and perform a reboot. If necessary, enable Wi-Fi calling to reach customer support without a cellular connection. Also
If you no longer have the Simple Mobile wireless service that you are supposed to have, you may suspect that a service outage has hit your area. If so, you need to make Simple Mobile aware of the outage, so it can get the repair process going sooner rather than later. Before you do that, however, there are a few other steps you need to take. The problem could be your phone rather than a service outage, after all, and you should know that before calling the company.
If you need to call Simple Mobile to report an outage, or if you have some other important call you need to make before service has been restored, and if you can't borrow someone else's phone, try wi-fi calling instead. Wi-fi calling means placing a call using your phone's wi-fi connection. As long as you haven't used up your monthly data yet, you should still be able to place your call. To enable wi-fi calling, open Settings menu and look for the option.
You should consider enabling wi-fi calling as your permanent backup method of calling. That way, you don't have to scramble around, trying to figure out how to turn it on, in an emergency.
The simplest explanation is often the correct one. Your phone may not be getting calls because you told it not to and then forgot.
Similarly, you may have forgotten to take your phone out of airplane mode after a flight. It is possible that a system update accidentally put your phone in airplane mode, too.
This can reset a lot of the settings that might be causing a problem with reception.

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Simple Mobile in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our How Do I Report a Simple Mobile Service Outage? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
